Chapter 28: Simply a Braggart and a Cad.

I have certain reservations with respect to this update, how fair is to both Khushi and Arnav to think their attraction is misplaced and inappropriate, I repeat they are attracted to each other and that has no money angle to it. They have worked together for nearly 8 years and may have been physically attracted to each other in the past however they choose to express themselves now and it may be the only chance they want to take. How does that make Khushi a wh**e? She is not cozying up with Arnav to climb the corporate ladder nor does Arnav want to use her to promise that ladder, she worked her backside off to get to where she is, so some credit is due to her. Let us not forget that they are fighting the attraction, Khushi more than Arnav, it must count for something, after all both know they are acutely attracted to each other and the kiss they shared shows it. I am sympathetic towards Arnav; he may not be able to think highly of his forward action concerning Khushi and may think of himself as a bas***d, that is his call.

Chapter 29: People Liberate Themselves.

No denying Rajeev felt an intense attraction to V in the past and that may have changed due to the unfortunate situations, but he should give her an opportunity to apologize, he need not forgive her but he can hear her out, be the bigger person here allow that bit of redemption to the person who has realized their mistake and wants to correct it. I so feel for Rajeev, did not like the guy much but the manner in which he handled the situation he was put through in college speaks a lot about him, he may be taking the middle school route to handle his attraction with respect to Khushi but he did handle the college fiasco maturely, come credit due here.

Keep in mind that those are lines from a movie that in no way indicates that Khushi is a wh**e or that Arnav is implying that she is a wh**e; merely that it makes him be more aware (once again) of the power-dynamic and the position that he is putting her in were he to pursue something with her.

As far as the money angle, in a boss-employee relationship, the only money angle would salary and that is indeed a very real angle (maybe not to them, but possibly to those who find out if they do get into a relationship) if she gets a raise (as well deserved as it may be for her work).
