PART 24:
Arnav was speechless. He could read what was going in her mind.. How damm alone she felt .. He didnt understand what always made him drag towards her.. It was only that he knew he wanted her.. He went back outside and then left from Gupta House.. He came back Home. Nothing seemed right to him now.. Two days passed without seeing Khushi.. He never liked going to Office now nor coming back home.. His life was completely changed.. He thought of going to Gupta house and meeting her.. But after his last meet with her, he didnt had that courage enough to face her.. He never slept in his room from past 2 days. He infact didnt sleep at all.. The Mangalsutra that she removed , he kept it in his closet safe. And everytime he opened his closet for his clothes he remembered how she cried after removing that from her neck.. He was all lost in her and in her thoughts. It was the third day today when he drived home from Office and saw Anjali going out with Nani and Maami..
Arnav: Di.. Where are you all going?
Anjali: Chotte we are going to attend the Puja in Gupta House.. Akash has also left.. We know that you wont like to attend all this so I wont ask you to come.. HP will serve you Dinner.. Ok?
Saying this they left and Arnav was all alone at home.. He could not resist more.. He wanted to see her, feel her, kiss her and much more.. He got ready immediately.. He knew his wife had never seen him in Sherwani.. And today was the best occassion to wear one. He put a White embroidered Sherwani and drove to his Sasuraal.. He was looking no less than a Charming Prince in search of his Princess.. He knew she must be expecting him.. even if she didnt wanted..
He reached Gupta House and saw everyone sitting for the Puja.. The Priest was chanting some Mantras.. Mostly all the couples were sitting together and he could see Khushi sitting in a Yellow Saree with her Pallu on her head in the front row all alone.. He removed his shoes and then headed towards her.. Anjali, Nani and everyone others were shocked to see Arnav attending a Puja but they knew he must be missing his wife and is hence here.. He took place next to her.. And sat down.. She didnt knew he was here.. Her eyes were closed. Her hands were on her lap. He placed his hand on hers and then she opened her eyes.. She looked side ways and was surprised to see him.. Upon that not in his regular clothes. He was in a Sherwani.. He looked cute.. But what was he doing here? She removed her hands from his and then tried to move a bit sideways when he held her lap gesturing her not to move..
It was almost an hour now that they were sitting together in the Puja and she was ignoring him.. Whenever he tried to hold her hands, she removed her hands from his.. Whenever he tried to move towards her ,. she moved sideways.. He didnt like all that.. He then came close to her and whispered in her ears..
Arnav: Khushi.. I need to talk to you.. Can we just go out and talk?
Khushi: I dont want to talk anything Arnav.. Its all over.. Please..
Arnav was angry... She was ignoring him was still fine.. But what does she mean by OVER?
The Puja was finally over and all the couples were asked to take the blessings of the priest.. Everyone were done except Arnav and Khushi.. She was reluctant to go and get the blessing with him..
Anjali: Khushi.. Chottee.. Come on what are you waiting for?
Arnav: Yes Di.. (He then held her hand and they went to the priest)
Meanwhile Anjali saw that Khushi was not wearing her sindoor and even her Mangalsutra..
Anjali: Khushi.. Wait.. Where is your Mangalsutra?
Khushi: Di.. Actually it broke.. So have given it to mend ..
Anjali: Allright.. Fine.. But you could have wore some other one atleast.. You are a married women and married womens neck should never be bare.. CHotte just take this Black thread from the Puja Thaali and put it in her neck..before taking the blessings..
Arnav and Khushi looked at each other.. After the marriage day.. this was the first time he would be doing it again.. He then picked the Black thread from the Puja Thaali and came near her.. She was nervous.. She didnt want to go through all this again.. SHe looked at him.. He was determined.. Nothing could stop his actions.. He tied the thread on her neck looking straight into her eyes. The pain that he went through last 2 days was visible in his eyes.. But it was nothing compared to the one that she went through..
He then took a pinch of Sindoor from the Puja Thaali and filled her Maang.. He was not asked to do this by anyone.. But he could not forget this ritual.. He felt as if he owned her all again from today.. A tear drop fell from her eyes which she gently wiped and then again hesitantly she went with Arnav who was holding her hands now to the Priest for the blessing. They both bent down to touch the feet of the Priest to take the blessing.
Priest: May you have all 7 births together as husband and wife and May God bless you with a baby soon..
Khushi and Arnav could not believe the blessing given by the Priest.. He was still happy and he smiled at her. She looked the other way and then started giving the Prasad to everyone..
She tried her best to ignore him. He was chatting with Khushi's father and mother sitting on the Sofa. Khushi was talking to others. All his attention was just on her for her.. Anjali and Nani were not surprised.. They knew how much their CHotte wanted her to come back home.. Anjali went to Khushi
Anjali: Khushi.. Can i ask you something..?
Khushi: Yes Di.. You dont need my permission to ask me..
Anjali: Thanks.. Actually is there anything wrong between you and Chotte? From past 2 days he is not at all concentrating on his work.. He comes home late and goes early to office.. He doesnt even have foood on time.. And not even sleep.. Yesterday you know he was sleeping on the Sofa in the Living Room.. I was shocked.. Did you both fight again?
Khushi knew why he was so.. Does that mean he was repenting ?? No way.. He would never..
Anjali: Khushi.. Can you please come back home? I think he is missing you very much..
Khushi: Di I just came here since I was missing my family.. I want to stay here some more days.. I am sure Arnav will be fine soon..
She said that and left for the Kitchen.. Anjali could sense something really worst between the two.. Arnav followed
Khushi in the Kitchen and cornered her to the wall..
Khushi: Arnav please.. I dont want to listen anything..
Arnav: Khushi.. Dont act so much Ok? I dont need your Yes for talking to you..
Khushi: OK fine.. Tell me .. What you have to tell??
Arnav: Come back home.. with me now..
Khushi: No way Arnav.. I have already told you.. I am not coming there.. Not even if Nani calls me.. I am not bothered what reply I have to give them, but I wont come..
Arnav: Khushi I am asking you for the last time.. Are you coming now or not?
Khushi: No Arnav.. I am telling you for the last time.. I am not coming home..
Arnav was very very angry.. She was denying him, ignoring him.. Well Ok if thats the case he knows what next to do..
Arnav: Fine.. See you tomorrow at office then..
Khushi: I am not coming to Office as well.. I am working from home..
Arnav: Really?? But I am sorry to say Khushi.. Dont forget you are also an employee of AR group and I am the Boss.. So you have to listen to me.. We need to take the Show Stopper Dress measurements.. So you have to come tomorrow to office at any cost.. Remember that.. And yes .. If you dont turn up by 10:00am tomorrow I have other ways to get you to office. If Arnav cannot get you back home, ASR can get you surely to office..Understood?
Khushi knew he wanted her.. to be with her and so he was using all his Tactics for her to return. But she had made up her mind.. Whatever he does, she would show him that its not easy at all to win a wife back after breaking her heart..
Khushi: Fine Arnav.. I will be there..
Arnav went out and then all the Raizada's went back to RM. That night was long for Arnav.. He waited for the morning to start..The start of his ways to get her back in his Life.. The way he wants, and the way she wants too..
