"I'm not sure how this is supposed to help." He fiddled around with his drink.

"Trust me, the 'Angels' are going to be performing pretty soon."

"Seriously Mike, I really don't think a strip club is exactly the place one can relieve stress."

"It is..."

A woman walked over, dressed like a sl*t, and seductively asked him if he needed anything. Before the woman got too into his face, he pushed her away and walked out cursing Mike under his breath.

Slamming the door as he left, he felt extreme anger rise within him.

Already the TSO was after him and to add onto his stress he was brought to this dump.

He said a silent prayer for her and wherever she was, hoping that he never found her.

He was in his thoughts when some idiot bumped into him.

"Hey watch it you!" He yelled at the person whom he knocked down.

"My god! Why must there be a random wall in the middle of our street? Did they just put this one here today? I'm gonna call the munclipalty office and demand an answer." Replied the young woman, rubbing her head, her hair falling on her face.

"Excuse me?"

"The wall's talking to me?" She exclaimed in utter confusion.

Arnav rolled his eyes. "Shut up will you?" as he helped her up.

It was when she saw a helping hand towards her, that she realized that it was indeed a man not a wall.

As soon as his cold skin met with hers he felt a tingling sensation run wild throughout his body. Was it? Could it? NO!

This can't happen. He won't let this happen.

As the girl removed her hair from her face and regained her composure, she gave him a piece of his mind. "Excuse me but do you not have any manners?"

Arnav was too busy staring at the girl in awe. She was it. She was her. Happiness welled his heart up as he couldn't resist his sudden urge to hug her close to himself and to press his body against hers, showing the immediate need he felt for her.

"Hey! Dude! Off me! What the hell are you doing?"

But Arnav wasn't listening. He was too lost in the fragrance of his much awaited mate.

"You're hurting me!!" She screeched out before Arnav came back to his senses.

What was he doing? How could he forget everything he'd been planning for all of these years. He couldn't fall weak right now. No matter how much it would kill him.

He abruptly pushed her off and started walking fast, away from her.

"Strange guy." She turned around and started to walk away.

Arnav was speeding through the streets. One of the perks of the of being the way he is.

But no matter how fast he walked away from her, he had long lost control of himself, as soon as he felt his mate. He was physically here but mentally there.

It was then he heard his angel scream. "Let go! You fricken bas***d!!"

Her one scream was enough to make him rush back.

When he got there he saw a mere thug and his angel pulling on her purse. He felt pity for the fool that dare mess with his girl. He walked towards him, in a deadly slow fashion, and gave him the one deadly growl he gave to people before he finished them off. But right now he was going to let him go after a small beating.

"T-Thank y-youu..." She responded quickly taking her purse from his hands. "But I can take care of myself." She stated proudly as she walked away.

And he let her. He needed to go far far away from this place, far far away from her.

He watched her for the one last time, hopefully in his entire life, although he very much knew that wasn't possible.

He was about to turn around and leave when he saw a distant figure in the shadow, intently watching the two. He would've disregarded, it if he didn't notice the red TSO symbol in their cape.

OH DEAR LORD!

He rushed to his mate, picked her up, and ran like the wind.

"Leave me alone! I demand you leave me along! I can get you arrested for this!! I can sue you for every damn thing you have!!!!" She demanded.

"Shut. Up." He commanded as he ran at the speed of light. "Cover your face!" He demanded.

She was far too scared to fight back. How was this man running so fast? Why was the car that she saw a second ago now a mile away from her? Why did this man help her? Why was he kidnapping her? And most of all, when his skin touched hers, why did it send sparks throughout her body. Why does she feel so connected with this stranger? As if she was already marked as his...
