Oh wow!

Okay so there are two things that stand out to me in this part. Well actually three. Or maybe more, haahahahah see the thing with me is that as I write my comment, I literally write whatever comes to my mind. So excuse me if my comments seem a bit disjointed, it's just that my mind keeps jumping from one thing to another :p

Anyway, I really, really liked how Nisha stood her ground as Arnav came towards her. Somehow I could visualise her standing there as Arnav walks threateningly towards her, her headstrong mind, independence and the emotional scars she has suffered enough to make her that strong, that she can handle an angry Arnav.

I even loved how Arnav realised that she wasn't backing away. In fact if Khushi had been in that position, she may have backed away, trying to keep the distance, and I think that's what Arnav secretly loves. He loves being in control, and Khushi more than often lets him have it.

I feel that both Nisha and Arnav are so alike in their ways of wanting control, career-driven etc etc, that this conflict of the minds, this similarity in terms of emotional distance, is just not going to let them get close intimately, or let the marriage (if it were to happen) last. Too bad Nani cannot see this.

I even loved how you made Nisha go after Hari Prakash. It kinda shows that she does have a heart, she is not a cold-hearted bitch.

In fact both Arnav and Nisha are good people, but they have been hurt by trusting and loving someone. Both Sharman and Khushi are in the same boat. All four of them loved and lost, and are now hurting really badly.

But it seems that Arnav was helpless when it came to hurting Khushi, whereas Sharma was somehow responsible for hurting Nisha?

Anyway, moving onto the next point,

one thing that stood out to me was that Manoroma kept her distance. Which is so unlike her. She loves being surrounded by models, modern people, that one would think that she would automatically take a liking to Nisha. But the fact that she hasn't somehow highlights that even she is aware that this alliance, this marriage is not good, and she does not agree with it being pushed by Nani.

It even shows that Khushi had somehow managed to create a soft spot in her heart?

Or it could mean that she is bitter at Akash leaving the house due to what Nani did to Khushi.

Now coming to Nani.

See, it'll be really easy for me to say, "I hate her" "She's so annoying" etc etc. But I won't say that, because in a way I am trying to see the things from her perspective.

Nani is a very traditional woman. Yeah she has her own quirks here and there, and is flexible at times. But as we have seen at the start of the show, and again when Arnav and Khushi got married, that she has a temper, and a stubborn streak.

So it's absolutely no surprise that she is doing this.

In a way Khushi hurt Nani as well when the truth came out. If there was one person Nani loved a lot, it was Khushi. So it's obvious that she would be really hurt to know that something as sacred as marriage was taken for a ride by Khushi (even though it was not her fault).

And therefore it is no surprise that she went and got another woman for Arnav - someone who is a total opposite of Khushi.

But what amuses me is that she is unknowingly hoping to mould her like what Khushi was.

I can't remember this, but I am guessing Shyam's truth has been exposed, yes? So does that mean everyone accused her for Shyam? Sorry, I can't remember what happened?

Anyway sorry for the massive essay!

I really enjoyed reading this part, and couldn't help going on about it :P

I liked Mamaji and Mamiji's reactions to Nisha. They don't care for her but can't oppose Nani. This family is a lot more clearly organized than the one on the show. It is refreshing

And the Arnav - Nisha confrontation - WONDERFUL. If i didn't love Khushi and the Ar-Hi pair, I would have said Ni-Ar has a lot of potential to be just as fiery

Sorry I am not very fond of Sharman yet. But thats probably because we haven't read much about him. I'll wait :)

All in all..great chapter!

Mami and Mama will be dwelled on later, I promise. :)

And the NiAr confrontation was needed because these two are fire and fire...they will have some more issues like this - it is necessary so as to establish her complete difference to Khushi in this aspect because although Khushi too is feisty, it takes her time to reach the crescendo whereas it seems Nisha is always sitting atop it and there will be a little bit more on NiSh in the next chapter and on ArHi too and maybe even NiAr. ;) :D

About Arnav...lets just say he has had a tough life...so can we really blame him? Because just before this chapter, everyone hated Nisha and now everyone likes her...see a pattern? :)

And yes, Nisha did let go of all her demons when she met Sharman but now she seems to be in a darker place than before...I wonder why! ;)

I liked mama's attitude to Nisha.. In fact, that's exactly the way I feel about her encroaching on Khushi's territory, and that's exactly how I would react to her.. :D And this is despite the fact that I feel sympathetic towards Nisha's character, and generally like her.. No offence to Nisha, but no one can take Khushi's place!! :)
