He leaned forward..hold her tightly as if she is some kind of a treasure..he brushed away those hair strands falling on her face..and then, Causing the blood rush 2 her face, he kissed her nose tip'and that was the maximum khushi could handle. Her lost dhak-dhak came back to her from nowhere. She pressed her hand on her heart as if to hide the dhak-dhak from Arnav and tightly shut her eyes.

In his seductive, sweet , calm and soft voice he said : "Khushi'Look at me"

Khushi averted her face. She didn't want 2 meet those intense eyes f his. Her body trembled in his hands. ...He didn't move. Instead he bent 2 whisper in her ear so that she cud feel his hot breath on her earlobe.

" Look @ me Khushi, I wish u 2 c me, 2 think f me "

She Shivered : " I '''.-" Hw cud she tell him that she did think f him; only f him!

She lifted her eyes to meet his. Those Choc brown eyes seemed to b an ocean of love'.eternal love'togetherness.. She wanted 2 swim into the depth f that ocean and merge into it. She wanted to touch his face' she wanted 2 taste his lips' She felt her heart hammering' she became weak on her knees and felt like loosing her strength. '.

"no Khushi'no " she cursed herself 4 not having control over her senses'

Arnav took her soft hands gently in his; bend his head & brushed his lips against her fingers ,his lips n moustache tickled her tender skin, making her painfully aware of her pounding blood and the aliveness of her senses. " why is t he, of all people, excited these strange feelings in me? Y was t that he cud infuriate me so? He'he whom I'.. I hate..??? "'. she looked away & pulled her hand rapidly from his as if burned by his touch. His hand went 2 her chin as he forced her eyes 2 meet his. Boldly she returned his stare. " he is not going to frighten me "

" Khushi.. Y do u hate me so much? " his voice was taken over by emotion and it sounded as if he was going 2 cry. His fingers gently brushed her cheek as he smoothed her hair from her face. She felt the warmth of his touch...it seemed 2 burn her skin as d strong glow went through her body. She trembled inside. Her eyes met his and she inhaled sharply.

"I don't hate u Arnavji'."

"oh??..." he looked @ her narrowly.

"don't u believe me?"

Arnav gave an impassive shrug.

"well'its true'" she said " y don't u believe me 4 a change? "

His hand brushed her other cheek and then slipped beneath the weight of her hair as he gazed at its dark loveliness. Khushi felt her pulse pound wildly. She had 2 keep control of her thoughts and emotions, but hw was she 2 think when he did this 2 her?

" no need 2 upset urself Khushi'I shall believe u 4 now, if that is wot u want." Arnav said.

It wasn't the only thing she wanted. Her emotions were overwhelming her. Her eyes were wide as she stared at him. She felt both her desire 2 b in his arms, and'.. She didn't know wt elz exactly! She had to control..her emotions mustn't run away wid her. His eyes met hers again & she caught her breath in her throat. Her stomach knotted. His look was''..soft and warm'!!

" ur hair s lovely "his voice was tender and gentle- a tune she had never b4 heard from him.

"its from my Amma'." Khushi answered realizing that she cud think very little beyond the heightening sense of her body. She hoped her voice hadn't reflected her thoughts. "Wot is happening 2 me.. I have 2 think .. Did he detect my tremble? Did he know wot he was doing 2 my mind?..."

His voice was coaxing & yet hoarse. " tell me Khushi that u don't hate me'" he paused, as if it was difficult 4 him 2 speak..

" Nahi.." she pasused,buying time, She repeated " No.. I don't hate u "

Der was a momentary silence while her heart quickened. Tears came 2 khushi's eyes. Her hands, touched his face. She felt her heart pounding wildly as she forced herself 2 think of wot 2 do next.

Looking up into his eyes, she said: "I cant hate u..Arnavji...". Desperate 2 convince him , she boldly lowered her hands 2 his neck and then 2 his chest saying.. " kabhi Nahin Arnavji'"

His arms went about her, supporting her, holding her and pulling her 2 him. His all knowing eyes centered on her lips. His fingers traced their slender outline. Smiling, Arnav lowered his mouth 2 hers. His lips gently grazed her lips.

He raised his head & looked @ her. She was inhaling sharply. He leaned over, bent & licked her ear with his darting tongue. His hand went up & down her neck, stroking it so that she longed 4 ..his warmth, his touch, his kiss. She looked @ his eyes, dark with passion. Pulling her numbed body 4wrd,his lips met hers again. His silver tipped tongue traced her lips , parted her mouth. There was only as momentary resistance. She welcomed his tongue as it explored, caressed & tasted her sweetness. Her mind cried out 4 her 2 make some response, but confused she couldn't. With tears in her eyes, she pulled away, and swallowed hard.

He raised his head & asked

" wot happened Khushi? "

she blushed & moved a step back. " I'. But'.." she was breathing heavily'"wot am I supposed 2 do? Arnavji?" she asked in as confused voice'

he couldn't help but smile @ her innocence. He grabbed her back 2 his hands.

" u don't have 2 do anything Khushi' Just'" he couldn't control himself b4 sweeping her up into his powerful arms & carrying her off the floor. He slowly walked 2 their bed.

She was looking @him. Y was she feeling a strange warmth & safety in that arms. She heard his heart beat fast near her ear. She touched his chest as if to check whether der is a heart ! She felt the pounding & she didn't know y she had a feeling that it beat 4 her. Immersed in finding the truth behind his heartbeat , she wasn't aware of being put in their bed... or of her dupatta being tangled in the bedstead'

She leaned 2wrd him & felt his lips graze hers once again. Benumbed as she is, her arms went about his neck, tightening. Her whole being was quivering with hunger & delight as his magical fingers were roaming her back, stroking her & caressing her . Lost in delight of his taste & touch , she was only vaguely aware of her own hands now touching & holding him, and of their lips locked. She couldn't help herself, she didn't want 2 help herself. She cud feel his breath warm & soft on her skin. Each of her movements heightened her sensations. She wanted him & she knew it.

Gently he lowered her back 2 d soft bed . His hands stroked her, touched her, ignited her. His magical fingers brought up flames through her creamy white skin. Mindlessly she surrendered 2 his touch. She felt nothing but his arms sheltering her, comforting her. " Arnav.." she gasped... Impulsively she pulled closer 2 his body. " Khushi'." he muttered, making her name sound as soft as the breeze in the dawn.

That very name stroked a blow on his brain. " wot the? '.Arnav.. U r not doing the right thing..u cant do this 2 Khushi'..she is'..no'stop it right now.." suddenly he moved slightly away from her.

She was shocked & asked

" kya hua?? ''..Kyon?? ''.Arnavji'"

she wanted him desperately. He looked @ her lovingly and then made his mind & stood straight.

"no..Khushi' we cant do this.. I only wanted 2 show u, that u have feelings 4 me'.see.."

he pointed a finger @ her. She sat upright , her mouth wide opened. He raised a brow @ her and spun on his heel. He left 4 the door leaving a spell- bound khushi behind'.
