Anjali reached the top of the stairs..she was genuinely curious to see the surprise Khushi mentioned. she looked @ him and was about to say something when he said..
" I knew that u will come." he was facing the balcony .. "after all you love me and we cannot live without each other.." She smiled and moved 4ward to hug him..
" wait'am not done yet.. I told you na? I have a surprise 4 u' its about the fortune Arnav has left ..i have a perfect plan..aapko kya lagta hai Khu.." he turned to face a shocked Anjali.. " ANJALI'?? What r u doing here?? "
" fortune? What fortune?? "
" F..fortune.. Yha.. The fortune.. My fortune.."
" kya?? "
" haaa.. My fortune.. You and the raajkumari are my fortune..what else Raanisaheba?"
" Raanisaheba???...that wasn't what you called me a minute ago"
" huh?? No? I,.,."
" Anjali!! It's the second time !! "
" Raanisahebaa'" he called in a soothing voice.." thumko patha hai..mein kitna stressed hoon,.,.aisa hota hai..plz maaf karo" he took 2 steps 2 her ,spreading his arms,. Anjali moved away,.
" No need to hug me this time,.it will do without one,."
Shyam was obviously taken aback by the sternness in her voice,. She walked back to the stairs but suddenly stopped..
"what was it,.,." Shyam looked at his wife.." ...that u were saying about Arnav? "He was making his mind to object her ,."...something about the fortune he has left?"
"ohh,.,.,.that! ,.,.,.That's you,.,. Arnav left you in my hands..".Anjali kept her face sullen,. "K,.,."
He came to her, grabbed her hand and led her 2 the stairs,.,. She looked awfully @ him,.
" what Raanisahebaa?lets go down..isn't time 2 take your medicines?"
She swallowed hard and nodded,.,.
"shall we go then?"She again nodded and they went for the stairs.
" voh tumara meeting kaisa tha??"
"aah.. Good" he smiled evilly.

Khushi was busily making jalebies.." Khushi thumko sochnahi padega..bar bar aisa kyon hota hai..someone interrupts u wenever u gather the courage ..u want 2 talk 2 him..ryt.?? Whats der 2 fear about it then?? Ya.. U r going 2 talk to him..abhi ke abhi.. " she took deep breaths and walked to their room.
Arnav was waiting on the balcony for Khushi.. He made mental notes to smile when she passes him. He drummed his fingers against the wall. His eyes lightened as he saw her coming out of the kitchen. He noticed the fidgeting hands.. "So .. Coming to me.. " .. His lips curved a littile..
" ohh..no.. Di.. If she sees me.. No no.." he turned to go but he couldn't as he saw his BIL behind his Di.. His smile disappeared. He looked @ khushi as she passed Shyam..he was relieved that she hasn't even noticed Shyam.. But then.. Shyam turned and smiled@ Khushi causing Arnav burn inside out.. He strode back to his room angrily.
Khushi entered the room ,closed the door , drew the curtains,and took 3 deep breaths. She walked 2 Arnav who was looking into the skies through the poolside windows.
" Arnavji.. I have to talk to you.."
No response.
" its very important."
Silence.
" I have to '" she looked @ him wondering if he is still there.
Still no response.
" Arnavjiii for God's sake..am talking to you."
He Turned to face her .. His eyes spat flames. He was burning in anger. his glare pierced through Khushi's soul..

Anjali sat gloomily in the living room.Why is she having a bad feeling? As if something is wrong.. Why she founds Shyam's behavior weird? She had heard him right. He said things about Chottey and fortune.. The whole talk sounds as if it was meant 4 someone else..he said plan.. What plan? Hey bhagvan..she doesn't understand anything..
" Anjali bittiya.." Anjali was still in her thought process..
" Anjali bittiya..?? '"
"..uh.. Ji.. Naani.." Naani joined her on the sofa.
" Whats the matter Anjali bittiya..? U look worried..kya bath hain?"
" Kuch nahin.. Naani.. I was just .." she smiled weekly.
"mmm'.damadji fir se bahar gayi..isliye na? "
" Naaniji..yeh sab chodo..tell me onething.. Fortune stands for what 'in a man's life.? "

Muje kuch samaj mein aaa Rahi hoon'" She was tired thinking of matters out of her capability.. She stood up to go to the puja-room..

A tear fell down on her cheek. This man was stabbing a thousand knives at her heart..
" you want to know the reason..hai na? I wil tell you.. "
" haaa.. TELL ME.. Wanna know.. Wanted to know it since the day of our wedding..kyon kiya aise?? Why did u force me into marrying you when you hate me this much.. TELL ME '"
He glared @ her.. He wanted to scream out the reason..he wanted to break the walls..his blood boiled..he came to her..grabbed her shoulders almost hurting them..he looked into her eyes..
" YOU FORCED ME TO DO IT KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA' YOU ARE THE REASON.."
