Inside the room,

Khushi and Payel couldn't decide what to do….Khushi wanted to expose Shyam but Payel stopped her….

K:jiji humein yeh shaadi rokni padegi…hum yeh shaadi nahi kar sakte…. (we have to stop this marriage, I can't marry Shyam)

P: tu ek kaam kar, tu kuch der ke liye happy ji ke ghar chali ja…. (do something, you go to happy ji's house for sometime)

K: magar isse kya hoga? (how will that help?)

P: agar tu hi nahi rahegi toh Shyam ji shaadi kisse karenge? (Who will Shyam marry, if you are not there?)

K: thik hai…jaisa aap kaho… (ok as you say)

Khushi and Payel came out of the room and turned right. Shyam thought everything was going fine, when suddenly he saw Payel open the back door. They hadn't seen Shyam standing there.

S: Khushi ji? He uttered softly, Khushi and Payel couldn't hear him.

P: tu samajh gayi na?... (You've understood the plan, right?)

Khushi nodded in agreement.

S(loudly): Khushiji? Aap kahan ja rahi hai? (Khushi ji where are you going?)

P: wo, wo…

K: hum happyji ke ghar ja rahe hai… (I'm going to happy ji's house)

S: magar kyun? Shaadi ka muhrat nikal…. (but why…the auspicious time for the marriage….)

P: wo wahan se kuch lane ja rahi hai…. (she needs to get something form there)

S: magar khushiji hi kyun? Aap bhi toh ja sakti hai? (but why Khushi, you can go instead of her) He said looking at Payel.

K: nahi humein hi jana padega… (no I need to go…)

S: magar shaadi… (but the marriage?)

P: wo kya hai na…Khushi apne ma ki di hui angoothi lane ja rahi hai… (see, she is going there to bring the ring her mom had given her)

S: toh aap chale jayiye na… Payel ji (so why can't you go Payel ji?)

K: nahi…jiji ko pata nahi hai ki wo angoothi dikhti kaisi hai… (no jiji doesn't know how it looks like)

P: aur mujhe yeh bhi nahi pata… (I don't even know…)

She signalled Khushi to leave wo rakhi kahan hai….(where it's kept)

Khushi ran out of the house and finally out of the compound. Shyam realised that and started running after her.

S: Khushi ji?

Payel managed to catch hold of a corner of his sherwanis and tried to pull him back. She got hold of one of his hand too.

Shyam tried to free himself and in that process he pushed Payel, she banged onto the wall behind her and Shyam ran out of the house.

Khushi had a lead, she instead of going to Happy's house ran out to the main road. Shyam didn't know that….he ran into Happy's house.

Khushi kept on running without even stopping to breathe; suddenly Arnav spotted her and stopped his car right next to Khushi. She was almost out of breath, so she rested her hand on the bonnet of the car to rest for a while. Arnav was on her side, he go down from the car, shocked to see her there.

Khushi looked up and the moment she saw Arnav she hugged him, real tight. Lavanya got down from the car, equally shocked. Both Arnav and Lavanya were confused. Khushi dug her face into Arnav's chest and Arnav stood there, straight, confused, shocked, staring blankly at no where.

Shyam had taken a turn towards the main road from Happy's house after realise that Khushi was not there.

Finally Arnav gained back his senses and

A: Khushi what are you doing here?

La: yeah Chamkili, you should be at your home…

A: Khushi?

He held her by her shoulder and made her face him. She looked at him, her eyes wet.

Arnav asked her softly.

A: what's wrong Khushi?

Just then Shyam reached the spot. The sound of his foot steps made everyone turn towards him. Even Khushi turned a bit and the moment she saw him, she was so terrified that she grabbed Arnav's arm. Arnav looked down to his arm and again looked at Shyam.

Shyam was in a soup now. He was in a total messy situation. Shyam had to manage it any way.

S: Khushi ji aapki shaadi hai, chaliye… (Khushi it's your wedding today, come…)

Khushi still holding Arnav's arm moved a bit more towards Arnav. Arnav looked down again and back at Shyam.

A: jijaji, aap yahan? (Jijaji what are you doing here?)

Shyam didn't pay a shit to him. He moved 2 steps forward and Khushi's clutch tightened. Arnav looked down again and frowned.

Arnav thinking: why is she behaving like this? Why is she so scared of Jijaji? What's wrong?

He looked up at Shyam.

A: Jijaji maine aapse kuch poocha… (I asked you something)

S: Khushi ji aap chaliye mere saath… (Khushi ji come with me)

Khushi released her clutch and hid behind Arnav; Arnav turned his head a bit and saw her with the corner of his eyes.

He frowned again.

A: Jijaji?

S: aap beech mein mat boliye saale saab…Khushi ji chaliye? (don't poke your nose in this saale saab, Khushi ji come)

Arnav held Khushi's hand and brought her out. She clutched onto Arnav's arm.

K: nahi… (no) Arnav's eyes widened, hum nahi jayenge…(I won't go)

S: chup chap chaliye mere saath. (shut up and come with me)

A: Jijaji…

S: saale saab aap ismein nahi pade to hi achcha hai…(it's better that you stay out of this matter)

A: maine aap se advice nahi mangi hai… aap mere sawal ke jawab dijiye… (I haven't asked for your advice…just answer my question)

S: saale saab aapke bhalayi ke liye hi keh rahe hai… aap is mein tang mat adhayiye(it's for your good, don't poke your nose) he threatened.

A: Khushi tum batao, kya hua hai? (Khushi you tell me what's wrong?)

S: Khushi ji kisi ko kuch nahi bolengi…wo mere saath chal rahi hai… (she won't answer any body's questions….she is coming with me)

Shyam thinking : bahut ho gaya, kuch karna parega (enough is enough, I have to do something)

He placed his hand on his sherwani's pocket and a grin appeared on his face.

In the meantime Khushi spoke up. All she had to say was, "shyamji humse shaadi karna chahte hai…" (Shyam wants to marry me)

Arnav was furious. Lavanya was shocked and so was Shyam. He hadn't expected this. He looked at Arnav. Arnav's fingers curled up to a punch. His jaws stiffened and his eyes looked dangerous.

S: Khushi ji

A: shut up. How dare you? Aapne meri di ki zindagi barbaad kar di aur ab Khushi… aap nahi jante aapke saath kya hone wala hai… (you spoiled my di's life and now Khushi… you dunno know what's in store for you…) he yelled

S: CHUP! THIS IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! He screamed.

A: IT IS MY BUSINESS! he screamed back.

S: kya kar lega tu? Bahut bolne laga hai tu. Tujhe nahi pata maine kitne papad bele hain Khushi se shaadi karne ke liye. Ain mauke pe aake tu haath maarega aur main chup chap sab kuch barbaad hote dekhoonga… shaadi toh karke hi rahoonga… (what will you do? Do you even know how much trouble I had to face to marry Khushi? You can't spoil everything now… I'll surely marry Khushi)

A: nahi kar paoge…(you won't be able to marry Khushi)

Saying this he grabbed Khushi by her waist.

S: tu roke ga mujhe? Tu? (you'll stop me?)

A: haan main… (yes I'll stop you)

Khushi looked at Arnav

Shyam took out his gun and pointed at Arnav.

S: saale saab…ab? Ab kya? Khushi ji yahan aayiye, warne saale saab ko… (saale saab now what will you do…Khushi come here…or else saale saab will….) and gave an evil laughter.

Khushi released herself form Arnav's grip and was about to walk upto Shyam when Arnav held her hand.

A: you are not going anywhere Khushi.

S: achcha?... (oh really?) he unlocked his gun and pointed it back at Arnav. Khushi gave Arnav a little push and came infront of Arnav

K: rukiye Shyam ji (stop Shyam ji)

S: aap hatiye Khushi ji… (move away Khushi ji)

Arnav pulled Khushi… Shyam struggled to keep his aim on Arnav… He pulled the trigger of his gun when Arnav and Khushi were pushing and pulling each other from Shyam's target…

Lavanya jumped at the sound of the shot.

K: Arnav Ji!

A: Khushi!
