I found this FF and completed till the last part. Must say i like the story line. It's different and quite refreshing too. Arnav is not the ASR type but has some own issues .. Loved the group of friends who made Khusi so comfortable..

Part 38

La and Khushi entered one of the exquisite Ladies rooms of the Radisson and La immediately bolted the door from inside.

Khushi: Arre! La what are doing? What if someone else needs to come in?

La: Khushi, this room is specially booked only for us to use, so don't worry.

Khushi: Really? She said passing the pair of earrings to Lavanya.

Khushi looked around the room while La changed her earrings and touching up her makeup looking into the large mirror in front of her. Khushi walked a bit away and dropped on the low lying bed in the corner of the dressing room.

La: Be careful with your dress Khushi! She exclaimed seeing Khushi so casually handling her dress. Khushi smiled.

Khushi: What is it today with you La?

Lavanya looked back confused. La: what? Why are you asking this?

Khushi: Nah, it's just that you seem... rather look a bit different.

Lavanya immediately became conscious and turned around looking in the mirror again and said: No Khushi, its nothing like that, you are just misunderstanding ... actually ... she tried explaining while stammering badly as she lied. And then just stopped talking when she felt Khushi's hand on her shoulder and saw her reflection in the mirror.

Khushi: You love him, don't you? La turned around to look at Khushi surprised. She had a question in her eyes like "how do you know?"

Khushi: It's pretty obvious. She said smiling but La looked down a bit sad.

Khushi: Hey! Why are you being upset about this? La you don't need to do all this for him. Just go and tell NK that you love him. I know he would never be able to say a no to you. She said looking into her eyes trying to encourage her.

La: Khushi, it's not so easy, you don't know anything.

Khushi suddenly felt a bit worried seeing La so very uncomfortable about this all. Khushi: La, come sit. She made Lavanya sit and then asked her: you consider me as your friend don't you?

Lavanya nodded. Khushi: then tell me why you are so scared about all this?

La: Khushi! When did you realize that I love him? Khushi: Ah! May be that day at the airport!

La: Hmm, but you don't know that I have been in love with him for the past six years, do you? Khushi looked at her with wide eyes shocked! La continued: yes six years! Long time isn't it?

Okay a quick recap on their current ages:

Arnav: 28 --- Khushi: 24

Karan: 28 ---Krystle: 26

NK: 28 --- La: 24 (same as Khushi)

Akaash: 26 --- Payal: 24

Anjali: 32 ' Shaleen: 32;

La: Khushi, I first met NK, Donny and Karan in college six years back when I was 18 and I came to college. They were all my seniors. Donny was my student mentor.. she smiled remembering old times... and NK, one of his closest friends. I wasn't really good in academics and Donny used to help me with my assignments after class. NK was in the Architecture department and used to work in his studios for long hours and therefore most of the times Donny used to help me do work sitting in the architecture studio as we could easily find quiet place to study there.

Khushi smiled listening to the friends' story which La was telling her. She was getting really excited and inquisitive to know more.

La: I wasn't just bad in studies but also really very shy and it was because of Donny that I could make friends. After we used to finish work, we three generally were joined by Karan and used to hang out together. That's how slowly I made friends with them all. Lavanya told Khushi all this with a sweet smile on her face, but suddenly her expression turned a sad one as she looked down.

Khushi: Lavanya?

La: Khushi, they all are my best buddies, but they always treated me like.. like one them, one of the guys. And in all this I myself forgot that I am a girl. I forgot that I should behave like one and that... that I could fall for someone special or maybe I already had. I was in love with NK Khushi. But I could never get myself to tell him, because I have always just been a friend to him... a buddy. She said with tears in her eyes.

Khushi couldn't stop herself and just immediately hugged Lavanya tight. If it was anyone who knew how terrible it felt when you just couldn't get yourself to confess your love? It was her. And Khushi felt worse seeing Lavanya like this. She didn't know if she would ever be able to tell Arnav how much she loved him, but she would make sure La gets her Love in her life! She promised herself.

The Hall was decorated beautifully with dim romantic lights all around. All the who's who of London was present in the party with everything being class apart.

The couple like a newly wedded man and wife walked the aisle with Krystle wearing a white bridal gown and Karan in his black tuxedo. NK raised a toast for the happy married life of the couple and many more such years of togetherness to come.

As everyone made their way to congratulate the couple, Arnav looked around for Khushi only to see her missing. He asked NK where Khushi and La were. Just then they both saw Khushi and La entering the hall and both of them looking kind of dull and unhappy. As Khushi reached Arnav, he took Khushi's hand in his and whispered to her rubbing her hand softly: is everything alright? Khushi nodded getting her smile back. La too cheered up seeing Karan and Krystle to have already arrived and NK hurried pulled La's hand to take her with him to congratulate both of them.

Arnav: Come; let me introduce you to Karan and his wife. He slipped his hand on her waist and led her towards the stage. The moment both the couples came face to face, Arnav and Karan hugged each other extremely happy while their better halves looked at each other with utter shock. Their jaws dropping and eyebrows shot up!!

Khushi: What the

Krystle: HECK!

Khushi: Krystle?

Krystle: Khushiii?

Khushi: Oh..MY.. GOD!

Krystle: Jesus CHRIST!

The men broke the hug listening and seeing the shocked expressions on their wives' faces and looked at the two ladies bewildered as the ladies suddenly looked at their husbands for a second and then burst out laughing, hugging each other.

Arnav: Excuse me beautiful ladies? If you don't mind may I please care to know what is so seemingly funny and shocking for you both? I guess NK is not around?

Khushi: Ah! Arnav ...

Krystle: Donny actually ... they both spoke at the same time.

Karan: I'll tell you! Well my dear wife Krystle is the "friend" Khushi went on a shopping adventure with! Isn't it Mrs. Raizaada? He said putting his hand forward in front of Khushi.

Khushi put her hand in his as he lightly kissed it greeting her. Khushi: I am sorry but.. how do you know? She asked nervously exchanging a look from Arnav to Karan.

Krystle: Yes! How do YOU know?

Karan: I knew the moment you told me what happened with you and your friend today, when we were home.

Karan: You have no idea what you made us go through Khushi; we were running... nah DRIVING around like maniacs in the whole of London to look for you today.

Khushi looked shocked at Arnav as he looked down trying to wash away the horrible memory. Khushi: I am sorry, she whispered to Arnav. Arnav turned to her slightly caressing her cheek with his thumb and shook his head.

Krystle: But why didn't you tell me about Khushi and Donny then?

Karan: If I would have, then how would I have got to see the expression on both your faces at the moment?

Krystle smiled widely and side hugged her husband kissing his cheek.

Arnav: Alright then, it's time to celebrate and the cake is well ... NK?

NK stood at the other end of the hall: Here we go!

La and NK got the cake for the couple but before they would cut the cake Karan took Krystle's hands in his and they both took their Marriage vows once again.

Karan: Krystle, you are my best friend. I love you with all my heart and stand here before all of our friends and family, sharing the happiest day of my life. I want nothing more than to share my future with you - my triumphs and my challenges, my joys and my sorrows. Together, I know we can accomplish the life we both dream of living. And I promise to love you until death do us apart and beyond that.

Krystle: Before my life was joined with yours, I was incomplete. Before I loved you, everything was dark. Now that our lives are joined, I am full in love, in laughter and in light. You are everything to me and I give all I have to you and wish that you may have all you want and need. I love you Karan.

NK: And I now declare you both Man and Wife once again. You may kiss the bride.

Karan kissed Krystle and the couple then cut the cake together celebrating their love and committed companionship.

The lights went out the very next moment and Lavanya stood under the spotlight making the announcement.

La: Ladies and gentlemen please give a big round of applause to welcome the once again newly wedded couple on the dance stage please.

Karan and Krystle danced together under the spotlight with everyone wishing for their togetherness with all their heart. Khushi stood silently looking at them both dancing together lost in her thoughts thinking about the vows they both had just taken. They had the perfect life she had only dreamt about till date; the fairy tale love story which she had completely lost hope of living any day. But then she felt her husband's hand warmly placed on her waist as pulled her more to himself, with his chin on her shoulder as he lightly kissed it when she looked back at him and he smiled at her. They both came out of the trance when they heard everyone clapping for Karan and Krystle.

Lavanya announced for the dance floor to be opened for everyone and welcomed everyone to please join the couple on the dance floor. Khushi had her eyes still fixed on Arnav when she suddenly felt a pull in her hand as Arnav took her to the dance floor. She was absolutely not expecting any such thing at the moment. But Arnav couldn't have resisted his wife any longer.

Music: The violins were being played with women sitting around a champagne fountain. Arnav held her by the waist and took her one hand in his while her other went over to his shoulder. Even though Arnav had danced with Khushi once before on their reception also giving her a surprise by singing for her himself, something was different about him today. She could feel it!

He danced with her making her follow his steps blindly as she had no clue about anything that was happening around. She just looked into his eyes living her dream which she wasn't even realizing was actually true.

He turned her round in his arms as he held her down and then kissed her neck all the way up till her chin making herself leave herself completely in his mercy.

They both danced oblivious of all the other pair of eyes who looked at them both amazed at the raw chemistry and passion they shared. It was getting hawt in there and nobody dared to move an inch away from where they were standing. The dance floor was clear for just the two of them.

She moved a bit away trying to express her feeling to him in a little gesture and moved back towards him dancing on his tune.

Music: NK along with LA and Karan with Krystle had smiles on their face as they looked at them both with complete shock but a pleasant SHOCK!

The intensity in their movements was increasing with each step. Arnav was slowly losing all sorts of self control as he wanted nothing but Khushi in his arms. She was his and will always remain his! He wanted to see, hear and feel only her and nothing else.

The song ended with both of them in each other's arms as everything came to a halt. It seemed that time had stopped at that very moment with them both lost in each other's eyes, breathing heavily and no one around.

Sorry for the late update but hope its worth the wait. Actually I was having exams and now I am going back to India this weekend. Yipeee! But that calls for too much of work as I still got to do all my packing and a lot of work to be finished is left. Just bare with me till Sunday, I promise to update more frequently once in India.
