I'm delighted that you've given us Anjali and Imad's story now. The scene was nicely set for them in the Avenging Angel series. It would have been incomplete if you didn't and we definitely can't have that 😊
Firstly...Yummy!! It's a great to be able to put a face to the name so thank you for the visual treat. I can imagine the hot model as I'm reading 😉
Secondly...Glad to see Khushi and Ziyad chachu trying to match make these two up.
So cupids bow struck Imad. His love for her was instantaneous and having the nerve to tell her, considering the emotional baggage she was carrying was courageous and not just to her. The little bundle of joy has captured his heart as well. His nervousness around Anjali is endearing, it's amazing how love can turn you into a wreck sometimes. Anjali's belief that she's not worthy of this and he may be mistaken in his love for her was exactly spot on. Being betrayed by the previous two men has encased her heart to the feelings Imad provokes in her for fear of being betrayed once again. As they say 'once bitten, twice shy' and she has every reason to wonder why this gorgeous single man would be interested in a divorced single mother when an array of beauties could be lined up for him. She just hasn't figured out that 'what the heart wants...'
Love Imad's letter to her apologising for his behaviour, and as I said before love makes you do and say all sorts... 😊 Had to feel sorry for him when he rushed out of his meeting thinking she had replied back. Poor guy.
😆 at Arnav thinking Khushi was licking him and the fascist kitten...heehee this made me chuckle and the picture of the furr ball was exactly as he thought. He knows what his Sanka Devi is like but so sweet he accepted it just to keep her happy. Thank you for still giving us Arshi moments 😊
In the scene where Imad asks Abhinav whether he knows the Raizada's and he hesitates I just knew you had a secret to tell us. Luckily didn't have to wonder for too long and my word was I surprised? Small world. Unfortunately it had to be Imad who brings him to the dinner table. Like the poor fella doesn't have enough problems trying to win her trust without this being added to the list that no doubt our Arnav is keeping. Also having to see Anjali and Abhinav talking and wondering if he's accidently brought the two together was pure torture. You penned his emotions so beautifully it was heart wrenching to read.
Fantastic update 👏 Wishes it was even longer. Can't wait to read the next chapter to see what comes of it.xx
Going to your post about the stigma associated to a divorced single mother. Society is definitely changing with regards to people's way of thinking being moved forward and media has played its part in this. Sometimes for the good and sometimes for the bad. People change, circumstances change so why stay in a relationship for the sake of it? Unfortunately the woman is usually the first to be blamed in the relationship breakdown regardless of the fact that the fault may not lie at her feet. I guess we still have a few more centuries to go before we eradicate this kind of stigma although I must say the current generation have brought the matter to the forefront with the modern way of thinking 'who cares' Maybe we should all have that attitude.
Imad's unquestionable love for Anjali has shown that no matter who the person is, being able to see past the exterior and delving in to their soul and bestowing faith can triumph any hardship. (I'm thinking aloud for the future of these two. I'm positive you won't disappoint).xx
