Part-9
Khushi and Arnav were silent throughout the journey to khushi's home. They kept stealing glances at each other. Khushi smiled and blushed at Arnav's understanding as she remembered what happened in his room just some time back. The car came to a halt outside Khushi's home. They looked at each other.
Arnav: See you tomorrow, Khushi.
Khushi: see you too. Bye.
she got down the car and was about to close the door when she suddenly told Arnav to wait a minute.She closed her door and went towards Arnav's side and opened his door. Arnav was surprised as he didnt know what she was upto. She ,opening his door, pulled him closer and placed a soft kiss on the side of his neck. Arnav was surprised at her sudden kiss but it was a sweet surprise.
Khushi: Thanks for understanding me Arnav. This is a gift for that.
Arnav remembered their meeting in his room and when he refrained from kissing her because he knew that would mean a lot to her. He smiled and said "Now its time for me to reward you because you understood what i wanted and gave me." Khushi blushed. Arnav smirked. He bent forward and was about to claim her lips when Khushi shouted "Buaji." Arnav shocked, went back straight and Khushi laughed and ran away. He then realized Khushi just escaped him as there was no buaji standing there.
"I'll get u Khushi Kumari Gupta."he shouted behind her. She turned back and went away, laughing.
Two days passed in packing the luggage and getting ready for the trip. Today was their flight to Goa. Khushi was at RM with her luggage, chattering excitedly with Anjali and Payal. She was looking forward to the trip. They all reached the airport and it was all new for Khushi and Payal. They had been to the airport first time and obviously were travelling through the flight first time. Khushi got a little scared and started asking all kinds of weird questions to everyone, which all were answered by Arnav.
They were waiting in the waiting area and everyone was sipping either tea or coffee. Khushi was trying black coffee, as she wanted to see Arnav's taste.
She didnt like its taste but pretended to love it for Arnav's sake. Arnav stood at a distance admiring his khushi only to be disturbed by his coughing sister.
Anjali: What are you looking at, chote?
Arnav, without realizing what he was saying: She's so cute na!
Anjali: yes, yes. She is.
Arnav: You know, she's not liking that coffee but still having it because I like it.
Anjali kept listening to her brother who went on complimenting Khushi in every possible way. There came a time when Anjali couldnt take it anymore and started laughing at Arnav's innocence. He then came back to his senses and realized what he was saying. Blushing, he went away excusing everyone.
Finally, they were in the flight and Khushi-Arnav sat next to each other, with NK on the third seat next to Khushi. The flight took off and khushi clenched Arnav's suit as she got scared. NK assured Khushi not to get scared but she was too lost in Arnav's eyes to listen to him. Her fear faded away into the gigantic sky as Arnav held her hand, in a way NK couldnt notice. The rest of the two couples enjoyed hand in hand as it was a kind of honeymoon for them!
The flight landed and Khushi was already asleep on Arnav's shoulder. He tried waking her up when the flight landed but she snuggled closer to him. Finally she woke when Anjali came to wake her up and she blushed realizing that she had been asleep on Arnav's shoulder. They got down the flight and went to the hotel where their reservations had been done. Arnav and NK shared a room unwantingly. Khushi was alone. And the remaining couples had a room each.
It was already night and so they decided to meet up for dinner after getting freshened up. Khushi wore a beautiful black coloured anarkali suit which had a beautiful silver embroidery. She had kept her hair on one shoulder,revealing a bit backless dress of her. she looked gorgeous. She had specially shopped for this trip as she thought that this had to be special. Matching silver earrings and thats it. She checked herself one last time before getting down to the place where they had decided to meet.
She stepped out and was happy as the person who greeted her on the door was none other than Arnav. His room was exactly opposite to hers and they both had been happy about it. He was mesmerized by the magic that the black dress created on her flawless skin. He couldnt take his eyes off her. She smiled thinking her dress had been successful in impressing her guy. They went down after admiring each other for sometime.
"You are looking beautiful Khushiji." said Anjali, who was clinging onto shyam.
"Thanks Anjaliji."
"Khushi, yeh dress tum par bahut accha lag raha hai." (this dress is looking amazning on you)Said payal, who had her hand clad with Aakash's arm.
"Thanks jiji."
There were two pairs of eyes which were drooling over Khushi and her dress. One belonged to Arnav and the second to NK.
They all went to the dinner place and sat on one large table enough to occupy them all.
After dinner, they decided to go back to their respective rooms and get some sleep. Anjali informed everyone that they would be going to some local places tomorrow and the arrangements have been made for that. everyone took their leave with that.
