He got up next morning, got ready for office and came to have his breakfast down where everyone was busy discussing on visiting some relative today. Khushi was wearing a green sari (the one she wore in Teri Meri Song), had left her hair open and was really looking beautiful. Her face was still dull and may be even she didnt get proper sleep like him. He saw her once and took his seat beside his Di.

Anjali: Chotte hum aapko kal bataana bhool gaye. Hum sab aaj Raheja Aunty ke ghar jaa rahe hai. Unke Pote (grandson) ka aaj Mundan hai. Tum chaloge.?

Arnav: Di.. What do you mean by Tum Chaloge? Offcourse Not. I have some important meetings. I cant.

Anjali: Hum jaante the. Aap yehi kahenge.. Khushi bhabhi bhi manaa kar rahi hai..

He was surprised how come Khushi is not interested to go..

Khushi: Di aaj meri presentation hai. Pichale 2 dino se main iss presentation ki taiyaari kar rahi hoon. Agar yeh nahi hota toh main zaroor aati.

(Since yesterday Arnav who had taken her file did not return it back, so she was preparing for this presentation all again because she didnt wanted to beg to him for that file anymore.) Arnav was happy at the thought that she was not going with them and would be at office. He felt that keeping that damm file with him was definately a very good idea..

At least this stopped her.

NK: Come on Khushi.. Agar tum nahi aaogi toh main kaafi bore ho jaunga.. Please come.. Meeting kal bhi ho sakti hai naa..?

Khushi knew if she would agree to NK, it would only fume Arnav and he would again hurt her by some or the other way which she was not interested in. She denied to NKs request politely and started feeding Niki.

Niki: Maasi nahi aayegi toh main bhi nahi jaaungi..

Khushi: Niki, Maasi ko bahut kaam hai.. Aap jaiye.. Hum shyam ko aapse milenge.. Theek hai..

Niki: Nahi.. I wont go..

Payal: Niki beta.. Zidd nahi karte.. Aapko humaare saath chalna hoga..

All tried to convince Niki but she started crying. She was not at all willing to leave her Maasi.

Khushi: Theek hai Di.. Ek kaam karte hai.. Meri presentation aaj afternoon mein hai. Woh bhi sirf 1 ghante ke liye.. Niki ko rehne dijiye. Main usse sambhaal lungi.

Everyone agreed to Khushi and they all left. Even Akash and NK went with them and Arnav went to Office. He desperately waited her to come to the office so that he could again admire her. She was at home all the time playing with Niki. Finally it was afternoon and she had to leave for Office. She asked Hari Prakash to take good care of Niki and left from home. She reached Office and saw Arnav talking to Lavanya. She ignored him and he noticed that. After talking to Arnav, Lavanya followed Khushi to the conference room.

Khushi: Lavanya, I need the list of attendies who would attend this meeting.

Lavanya: Here it is Khushi (She handed her a paper with the names )

Khushi read them and was happy to know "HIS" name was not in it. It was 04:00 in the evening at the meeting was about to start with Khushi at the white board with a marker, when Arnav enetered. She was shocked. Why was he here. Doesnt he have any other work than to attend her arranged conference. He gave her a look once and sat exactly

opposite to where she stood. She was still in her green saree and Arnav was totally mesmerized by her looks. She looked like a crystal doll, so cute, so innocent. His eyes were just on her and it was not left unnoticed by Khushi. After the kitchen incident in Gupta House, his look towards her had changed to an extent, but that didnt mean he should keep staring at her like that all the while and definately not at his office when she is the presentator. She was feeling conscious.

She had no time understanding why he did so and she began with her speech. She was discussing some dress designs for the new models for the Shegals Project. Everyone except Arnav concentrated. She was a good speaker and had all the skills to be a good business woman. All thanks to her dad whom she assisted before. Whenever she turned to the whiteboard may be to draw something and explain, Arnav could see her milky back. He felt like ending this meeting here asking everyone to leave, moving towards her, opening that green dori of her blouse and kiss her endlessly but he knew his limits.. Khushi finished with her speech and then asked Mr Roy to take over from her and discuss the financials. She took a seat again opposite to Arnav and Mr Roy was near the White board now. She didnt even glance at Arnav. She knew his eyes were just on her and he was not at all interested in knowing what Mr Roy was speaking.

The meeting was finally over and everyone got up. Mr Roy came to Arnav.

Mr Roy: So ASR do you want to make any ammendments in the finance documents related to the Project?

Khushi (Murmured to herself): Meeting pe dhyaan diya hota toh kuch bolenge naa..Inka dhyaan toh kahi aur hi tha..(She started picking her files from the desk)

Arnav: Yeah Mr Roy. Please change the point 3 of the contract since I think the price mentioned for that costume is quite high.. We can quote them a bit lower. Ok?

Khushi was shocked. Is he was looking at her how could he know all this what Mr Roy was asking? Mr Roy headed to the door and Arnav towards Khushi

Arnav: My eyes were on you Khushi. Not my ears.. They were definately concentrating on Mr Roy's speech.

He said that and went out. Yeah thats why he was such a good businessman in India.. He was multiskilled and believed in Multitasking.

Khushi went back home and took Niki out for having some ice creams. They returned back home. Arnav had still not come and not even the other family members. She was feeding Niki her dinner when Arnav returned. Arnav went straight up to his room to change and then wore this night dress (White pullover ) and came down for he dinner.

Khushi was still feeding Niki and hence she asked Hari Prakash to serve him. He was quiet at the table and so was she. Only Niki;s voice was filled in the room. But thankfully Niki was sitting on the chair when Khushi was feeding her and not running here and there only to make Khushi more tired.

Arnav: Akash ka phone aaya tha, They all will be staying there tonight and will return tomorrow morning.

Khushi was surprised. How can they stay there leaving her alone with him in the whole house,. She was getting little worried now. She called her jiji and got the same reply from her. They were indeed forced by the Raheja's to stay for one night. Arnav went to his room and started reading a novel.

In Raheja House

Anjali: Nani.. Accha hua ki aaj hum sab yahan rukh rahe hai. Kamse kam Chotte aur Khushi ko ek saath rehne ka mauka toh milga.. Ho sakta hai ki koi baat banjaye..

Nani: Nahi Anjali bitiya.. hum nahi chahte ki aisa kuch ho.

Anjali: Kyon Nani?

Nani: Aap Chotte ko jaanti hai. Woh apna faisla nahi badlenge. Hume Khushi ko woh sapne nahi dikhaane chahiye joh Chotte kabhi pura nahi kar sakte. Accha hi hai ki woh dono alag alag kamre mein rehte hai. Warna Khushi ke liye 3 mahine baad yeh sab bhool jaana mushkil hoga..

Anjali: Haan Nani shayad aap theek keh rahi hai..

IN RM

There was a knock at Arnav's room. He opened the door to find a scared Khushi. Tears flowed from her eyes,

Arnav: Khushi.. Tum theek ho? Kya hua? Why are you crying dammit?

Khushi: Woh Niki ko bukhaar hai.. Aap please Doctor ko bulaayenge? Hume bahut darr lag raha hai..

Arnav rushed with Khushi in her room. Niki was sleeping. He checked her fever and yes she was ill. He called up their family doctor and told him the same. He was still talking to the doctor and asked Khushi

Arnav: Khushi.. did she eat anything cold?

Khushi: Haan humne ice cream khayi thi..

Arnav told this to the doctor and he suggested some medicine to Arnav. He called Hari Prakash and asked him to get the medicine at once. Khushi was all this time soaking a cloth in water and keeping it on Niki's forehead to decrease the temperature. She was still crying. She felt it was all her fault.

Arnav: Khushi.. Har baat pe rona zaroori hai kya? Niki will be fine.. Just relax.Ok?

Khushi: Yeh sab humaari galti hai.. Humne Niki ko ice cream khilaani hi nahi chahiye thi..

Medicines were brought and Arnav and Khushi both waked Niki and fed her the medicines and made her sleep again on that King size bed at the centre. Arnav lied beside Niki reading his novel with his back leaning on the headboard of the bed. Khushi was sitting on the sofa now all praying that Niki becomes fine soon. Arnav dozed off and suddenly got up. He saw the time, it was 2:00am. His eyes went on Khushi. She was sleeping on the sofa like a baby. She was still in her saree and her pallu had fallen below her shoulders. He could see her creamy bosoms and was turned on. He felt like touching them, kissing them and many other wild thoughts blocked his mind. Even if this marriage was only valid now for the next 3 months, he could not deny the fact that he was attracted to her and this was felt by even Khushi. He immediately got up from the bed and picked Niki and placed her at the side of the bed. He arranged some pillows beside niki at the edge so that she does not fall down while turning. He then moved to Khushi near the sofa and picked her in his arms so gently not to wake her up. She was in a deep sleep and this made Arnav's work easier. He carried her to the bed and placed her at the centre. He switched off the lights and slept beside her turning towards her to admire her. She too turned and curled up to his side and was facing him. She was very close to him.. just inches apart and Arnav could feel her bosoms breathing on his chest. It was getting hot now. Also the AC was turned off since Niki had fever. He removed his white pullover and now lied bare chest facing her. He felt like kissing her on her cheeks but that could wake her up and he did not want that. To his surprise she placed her hands on his waist and slept peacefully. Afterall they were husband and wife and sleeping together was no harm, he thought.

It was morning now. Almost 8:00am. All had reached home and Anjali was planning to wake up her chotte, But he was not in his room. She thought of asking Khushi and was heading towards her room when Nani also accompanied her.

They knocked the door. Khushi who was now turning towards Niki and had no idea that her husband was sleeping behind her, just got up and opened the door. she saw Nani and Anjali..

Khushi: Good Morning Di, Good Morning Nani..(She said adjusting her saree and her pallu).

They both wished her the same with a smile, but this smile suddenly faded when they saw Arnav on the bed. The

middle space was empty and Niki and Arnav were sleeping at the two corners which meant that Khushi was sleeping

in between them.. But Why? And How? Looking them so surprised, Khushi too turned back and was damm shock to see Arnav with his chest bare sleeping cozily on her bed..

Anjali: Khushi.. Aap aur Chotte.,. Ek saath, ek kamre mein aur ek hi bed par..(She asked her shockingly)

Hearing her, Arnav got up. He saw Khushi beside Nani and his Di..

Arnav: Good Morning Everyone..(He said that yawning and still in his sleepy tone)

Nahi: Chotte.. Aap aur Khushi..Ek saath, yeh sab kya hai?

Arnav then came back to his senses, but he knew what he did was not at all wrong. He had the rights.. Atleast at present. He got up and neared Khushi again. Stood beside her. Khushi was still in trauma, She could not believed she had slept with him last night.. But how. Till she knew she was on the sofa.. Does that mean he carried her to the bed? NO WAY she thought...
