Vabhabi is one feisty chick ...absolutely adore her ...you have a knack of making the reader love all your side characters and Lee and V are no exception! Brilliant characterisation.

While reading Lavender I couldn't help but reminisce about The Oldest Story *sighs* I do miss that one!

I love chapter titles, but I did not expect an update like this. I don't mind though. This was awesome. Vaibs is awesome. Everytime I hear the word "pixie," my mind automatically goes to Alice Cullen (Well, the chick that played her). Anywho, Vaibs is a surprise. Poor Mami! She's probably forgotten all about "Hello, Hi, Bye Bye." Was Vaibs giving her AJ some tips? Oh, if only she knew...

As for your comments about the serial and the leads, it reminds me of this dialogue from an old malayalam movie called Vietnam Colony where one of the side characters casually remarks that the entire enterprise known as LOVE was discovered solely so that small-town girls can land billionaires... hehe... It's much funnier in malayalam, but quite a succinct way of putting the fantasy of why people clamor around such concepts in serials, rom-coms, and the Mills&Boons genre... ;)

Delighted to get such a prompt and positive response.
I imagine in Malayalam the comment would've sounded pithy and perfect! They always do in the original tongue.

So if we're talking about characterisation...I enjoy what you've made of Lavanya - down to earth and still a friend to Khushi. Its something I have missed sorely in the serial - Khushi has no one to turn to - no one at all with whom she can open up. Arnav bitwa has his sickeningly saccharine sister, who roots for him; but the girl???? nada. No wonder she's so extreme.

So in "Lavender", Lavanya provides the balance. And now V in Arnav's life is a neat touch - more balance I think - at any rate she's able to shake him out of his seeming smugness!

Looking forward to the meeting between V and Khushi...:)
