Hey guys…. Here's the first update of the new thread….. enjoy!!😊

Part 29

The following morning there was heavy pounding at their door….. both Shakti and Sneha woke up with a start.

Shakti- (puzzled) what's going on?

Sneha- I have no clue…. I'll go check.

Shakti- ya please…. Before this person break the door.

Sneha went and opened it….. Alisha, Vinti and Samantha barge in the room.

Vinti- chalo guys….. get up…. We have to go.

Sneha- what happened??

Shakti- go where?

Alisha- (excitedly) today is the Haldi ceremony!!

Sneha- ya so?

Alisha- so we have to go slosh the groom in haldi first thing in the morning…. before he even wakes up….. that's a tradition.

Shakti- what rubbish!!... I've never heard of such a thing.

Vinti- that doesn't matter…. Now go get ready….. We'll meet in the hall in half an hour.

Shakti- are you kidding me??!!... It's 6 in the morning!!

Samantha- ya but that's the fun.

Shakti groaned and buried her head in the pillow.

Alisha- chalo jaldi….. we have to beat the guys.

Shakti suddenly sat up straight….. guys?... Kunwar?

Shakti- (frowned) why?... will they be joining us?

Vinti- no dude….. they will be planning to do the exact same thing with the bride.

Shakti- (grunted) I don't even think they know what function we have today….. they'd rather go sightseeing….. so chill, we'll go later.

Shakti laid down on the bed again…. and covered her face with the blanket…. Alisha came up to her and swept the cover away.

Alisha- No!!... we want you down by 6.30 sharp….. get it?!….. now move your pretty b*tt out of that bed.

Shakti- (roll eyes) fine…. Now get out.

The girls giggled and left the room….. Shakti and Sneha quickly got ready and went down.

Alisha- right on time, girls. (grin)

Shakti looked around.

Shakti- where is Priyanka and Anjali?

Samantha- we asked them to check on Pankti….. in case the guys reach her first.

Shakti nodded….. she was sure the useless boys dint have a clue about all this.

Vinti handed each one of them a haldi bowl.

Vinti- as soon as we enter Vivek's room….. we attack him….. ok? (giggle)

Alisha- cool….. chalo…. Aakraman!!

They laughed.

They found their way to Vivek's room.

Sneha- how are we going to get in?

Samantha- we borrowed an extra pair of keys from Palki maam.

Sneha- niceee (wink)

Samantha quietly unlocked the door and tried the doorknob…. It turned around….. she looked over at the girls and grinned….. she tried to push the door but it dint move….. she frowned.

Alisha- kya hua?

Samantha- it's unlocked but I can't open it.

Vinti- here…. let me try.

She took Samantha's place and pushed the door hard….. but it did not budge.

Alisha and Samantha helped her….. just then the door yanked open and all 3 of them fell in the room….. Shakti and Sneha gasped.

Sneha- what the hell?!!

They looked up to see the guys laughing at them.

Archie- kyun?... humare territory main aake humare Javan pe humla karna chahate the na?

Macci- popat!!

They laughed harder…. The girls got up and gave them a disgusted look.

Shakti stepped forward.

Shakti- where is Vivek?... we have to do this….. it's a tradition.

Amar stepped in front of her.

Amar- oh really?... so how come we haven't heard of it?

Shakti narrowed her eyes.

Shakti- if you dint know about this, how are you here?

Amar- we heard Alis and Sam discuss it last night.

Shakti looked over at the girls and glared at them….. they shrugged and gave her an apologetic smile…. She turned back and tried to look past Amar.

Shakti- fine…. Now tell us where are you'll hiding him?

Amar- not so fast….. let's make a deal first…. Ok?

He smiled and her heart skipped a beat…. His twinkling eyes captivating hers….. everyone was silent, waiting for her to say something….. and here she was lost in those sea deep eyes….. she mentally slapped her head.

Shakti- what's the deal?

Amar's grin broadened…. He eyed the haldi bowl in her hand….. she followed his gaze….. she looked up with eyes wide….. she could guess what he wanted.

Shakti- No!!

Amar laughed.

Amar- yes!!

The girls looked at them confused.

Sneha- what?

Amar looked at Sneha.

Amar- we give you'll Vivek but first you allow us to get you'll smudged in this haldi.

Girls- WHAT!!

The guys laughed….. and agreed.

Alisha- no way.

Vinti- ha…. In your dreams, dude….. jaao, go back to sleep.

Shakti- alright.

She turned to the girls….. they were gaping at her.

Sneha- what alright?... have you lost it?

Shakti winked at them and dipped her hand in the bowl….. the girls nodded and copied her…. She swiftly turned around and smudged Amar's face with the yellow paste….. he was taken aback with her sudden move.

Amar- What the….

The girls followed Shakti's lead and dashed to the boys….. everyone running around the room….. the guys trying to dodge the girls….. ultimately all the girls got their hands on them.

Shakti continued to mess Amar's face, neck and t-shirt….. he moved back trying to shoo her off…. But she was a wild cat…. She dint let him go so easily….. finally he got hold of both her wrists ….. their eyes locked….. her laughter died….. she was transfixed….. even though his face and hair was smothered in haldi, he looked adorable….. he snatched the bowl from her hand…. and smirked….. Shakti's eyes widened... she shrieked….. swiftly turned around and ran out of the room, giggling….. he followed her out.

Amar- now you're so dead Shakti Mohan! (howled)

She ran out to the gardens…. He was right at her heel.

She reached the dead end….. there was a wall in front of her….. she turned and leaned on it, panting….. she looked up and he was right in front of her.

Shakti- Kunwar, don't!!

Amar- who's going to save Miss. Red Riding hood from the Big Bad Wolf? (chuckled)

She laughed and looked around….. trying to find a way to escape.

He stepped up….. close to her….. she moved behind, grinding her back to the wall….. she warily eyed the haldi bowl in his hand…. he smirked….. and tossed the bowl away, that landed on the grass next to their feet…. She frowned and looked up at him….. he moved ahead, and placed his hands on her either sides….. pinning her further to the wall….. she swallowed hard….. her eyes never leaving his.

He bent his head down….. his nose touching hers…... she tried to move away but his hand gripped the sides of her face….. he slowly moved his head to left…. lightly brushing his cheek with hers….. when he reached her ear, he kissed it…. He felt her tremble….. he pulled slightly back and watched her….. her eyes were shut and she was breathing hard….. a jolt of electricity ran through him…. he turned his head to the right….. and he brushed her other cheek with his….. finally kissing the other ear….. he dipped his head down and skimmed his chin along her neck….. she moaned and tiled her head back….. he reached the collar bone and lightly kissed the pulse that was beating so hard….. he heard her take in a sharp breath….. he continued to now glide up the other side of her neck with his chin….. and buried his face in her hair….. Inhaling her scent.

Her hands moved to his chest….. she intended to push him away but instead she held his collar and pulled him closer….. he shuddered.

He looked down at her and smiled ….. she slowly lifted her lashes to look up at him….. when she saw him smile, she frowned.

Shakti- what? (hoarsely)

He touched her cheek and tenderly rubbed it with his fingers….. he showed her the haldi stain that he had just wiped from her face….. her eyes turned big….. with her mouth hanging.

Shakti- (glare) you!!...

She pushed him back, getting out of his embrace and walked away.

He sighed and leaned his forehead on the wall….. still inhaling her fragrance in the air.

She stumbled out of his embrace to walk back to the house….. she touched her cheek….. she could still feel his face stroking hers….. God!!... save me!
