The part about Khushi eating that last piece of cake, wanting to preserve it, but then realising that it couldn't be, eating it, rather savouring it till she could...Stunning. <3

And that part about discarding the metal ring, ONLY to come back and pick it up...my heart literally constricted at that line.

"He looked at the empty seat beside him, almost expecting Khushi to magically appear out of thin air. He waited but she didn't."

Oh god! That line...so agonizing to read. Knowing it in their head that they would't be meeting the other person, but their hearts hoping against hope that the other person, just for a glimpse of their loved one.

IF ONLY HE WOULD HAVE KNOWN...

hey! Just read ur fic. I must say u are a amazing writer. Each n every word..every moment described beautifully! I have read walk to remember so when i started reading this..i immediately realised that it is somewhere inspired from the book..how i wish arnav knws why khushi is doing this. The quotes that u use in between between ur updates brings lump in my throat. The updates are beautiful yet heart wrenching...plz pm me when u update
