Episode 8

1 day after Kripa's arrival to India
The camera focuses on a room which has so amazingly changed so much in just the past day. Everything in the room is matching as kripa likes everything to be perfect. It's 6:30 in the morning and Kripa for once is not sleeping lazily in her bed. She is wide awake and quite nervous as she has never been to college in India. Her bag is open on her bed and her clothes are spread out all over the place. She is pacing the room, with a worried expression. But kripa right now is not worried about being perfect it something else that is bothering her.
Kripa thinking to herself: Oh God help me please, mein yahan ake kahan phas gai. Aur ab ye bhi samaj nahi aa raha ke kya pehnu college ke liye. Yahan log college mein kya pehente hon ge, Saree?? Shayad I mean after all saree is the national clothes for India. Lekin wouldn't be hard to manage ur self in a saree there is no way I m wearing that, and plus I don't know how to. I should have asked Sahil he would know what to wear, but knowing him he would have told me to wear a bikini, she smiles to herself thinking how people would react if she wore a bikini to college. Maybe I ll wear salwar kurta, lekin mere pass to ek bhi salwar kurta nahi hai, Shayad di ke pass ho ga let me go check in her room .
She goes to her Anjali's room looks in the closet and finds a nice white suit that she can wear but it's a bit loose for her. Oh god mein is mein kitni moti lag rahi hun. Well ab to yehi pehen na pare ga. Why cant people here wear normal clothes jaise top, jeans, maybe a skirt, have to wear complicated clothes like salwar kurta or Saree.
She ties her hair back and puts on very light makeup since she doesn't want to look too showy. She finally goes downstairs where Dilip and Gyatri are eating breakfast.

Gyatri: Are beta tum aj itni jaldi uth gai. To tumhari adat sudhar hi gai America jaa kar.

Kripa: Laughs, Mein poori raat soi hi nahi to uth thi kaise.

Gyatri looks at her worried: beta tabiyat to thik hai na.

Kripa: Nahi maa don't worry meri tabiyat ko kuch nahi hua. I am just not used to the timing yet. Neend hi nahi ati, ab dekhna jaise hi duper ho gi mujhe neend aani shuru ho jaye gi.

Dad: Dekho gyatri tum khama kham pereshan ho rahi ho. Acha beta kuch khalo phir college chale jana.

Kripa is very nervous and does not feel like eating at all but knows that if she refuses then her parents will worry so she has a quick breakfast and heads off to college.

After kripa leaves Gyatri tells dilip

Gyatri: Hamari Kripa kitni simple hai. Itne sal America mein rehne ke bravajod. She went to college dressed so simply. Aur jo yahan ki ladkiya hai wo… Hey bhagwan Kitne chote chote kapre.

Dilip: Akhir beti kiski hai.

They both smile, not knowing that Kripa had dressed like that unknowingly

Kripa is forced to take her dad's car to college as she has no car of her own just yet, Which is not the most newest nor the hottest model on the market. But u guys know parents their choice in somethings like cars is what we would call totally uncool. She looks quite old fashioned right now, and to add to her appearence she is wearing her reading glasses in order to study the college map which is not making much sense at the moment.

As she enters the college gate Josh sees her and gleefully laughs. He taps angad on the shoulders.

Josh: Hey angad look at what's walking through our college gates.

Seeing Kripa Angad's mouth slowly transforms into a mischievous grin.



well the next episode is not something that most of u guys will expect. He wont directly approach her but... well if i tell u then whats the point of reading. 😉
