**** Last part on Page 12 ****
Part 6:
They both entered the room after bidding good-bye to the couple.
N: Mein fresh ho ke ati hoon.
K: okay.
While Nimmo is in the bathroom Kunal decides to watch television. He is watching some game, when Nimmo comes out in different outfit, her hair up in a pony tail (thought about the tail after some time huh?...lol) except there were few strands dancing around here and there around her face. Kunal keeps looking at her, but Nimmo isn't paying any attention.
N: Kunal ab tumhe jana hein to tum jake fresh ho sakte ho.
K: at first had a confused look but then registered what she had said and said: haan, tik hain.
After a few minutes kunal came out all fresh and said,
K: khane ke liye kya karma hain nimmo?
N: uhh I really don't feel like going somewhere to eat
K: yeah *sighs* me neither
N: how about we order from the room service?
K: yeah lets.
They decided what they wanted, called the kitchen, and placed their "order"
While waiting for the food to arrive Nimmo is reading a book which she has almost finished (on the last couple pages) and kunal is watching TV, while playing around with his cell.
* knock knock* "room service" from the voice it sounded like a male.
N: mein dekh ti hoon, she said looking at nimmo and semi-pointing to the door
K who was about to get up to open the door, settled down on the couch again.
By this time N had finished the book, but the book was still in her hand because she had just finished.
She opened the door and saw our very own Dev!!!!
D: Good evening Madam. Nimmo looks at him with her eyebrows raised. D: Ohh, I am sorry, good evening Nimmo.
Nimmo smiles at him and Dev moves past her with food trolley.
D: Good evening Mr. Sehgal
K: stood up and said Good Evening Dev.
D: wow! You remembered my name!?!
K: of course trying to sound nice! How can I forget you?! He said to himself remembering how easily Nimmo gelled with Dev that morning.
Nimmo asked Dev while he was setting up the food on the table in their room: You are still working?
Dev smiled, while continuing with his work: yeah, I did extra hours today, One of the other waiters called in sick. I was about to leave when we got your call.
Nimmo said "oh" in a guilty tone.
D noticed it and said: Don't worry about it, I don't have to go anywhere. *he smiles and Nimmo smiled back* Then Dev saw the book in Nimmo's hand and said have u finished that book?
N: yeah just did. Have you read it?
D: Yeah
* And they start discussing the book*
Kunu was just watching all this and had a weird feeling inside. He felt like doing something to Dev, for talking to his Nimmo. And Nimmo talking to him like she has known him since childhood! Then he is like what am I thinking?!!?! Am I jealous of Dev because he is talking to Nimmo?!?! No no no! That's not it! It can't be! Why would I be jealous if Nimmo talks to some other guy?! While all of this was going through his head, he heard a noise. He thought, "What was that?" Then he realized it was his stomach growling because of hunger. Then he said: uh, If you don't mind, can we eat, I am hungry?
N smiled at him: sure, uh Dev you said you were done working so do you want to join us?
D: um sure, is it okay with you Mr. Sehgal?
K giving a forceful smile: hmhf of course it is, my wife said it and its done! At that statement Nimmo cocked her eyebrow at him and gave him a "what did you just say?!" look. And Kunal in his mind is like what the hell did I just say!?!?!?!?! Did I say that out loud? And he got his confirmation when Dev said: That is a very good principle to keep, Mr. Sehgal. "My wife said it and its done," he quoted him. I'll do the same with my wife in the future. Thank you Mr. Sehgal.
Kunal kicked himself in his mind for saying that and then got some comfort when Dev mentioned his wife and future or something like that. He thought good topic lets move on from that statement! Phew! Then out loud he said: Your welcome and please call me Kunal. He smiled and said so about your wife he was interrupted by Nimmo when she said, so Dev, who is the lucky woman?
Kunal in his mind is like, LUCKY woman?!!?!?!?! What is happening to me?!?! Why do feel bad when Nimmo praises him?!?! Then he decided to push the thought aside and listen to the conversation for any further compliments by Nimmo. He thinks she might give me a compliment, I should listen and he started listening.
D: We aren't married, but are gonna be in the coming year.
And like that talking about Dev's future wife, life, and finishing dinner the night went by.
