PART-3

Riddhima signed in to video chat with her best friend Muskaan and waited for her to answer the call. They stayed, studied and worked together in London. Muskaan is a very bubbly girl, full of life. She came to India 2 days before riddhima and is in Chandigarh with her parents now.

Ri: Hi Muski

Mu: Don't talk to me. Its 7-8 hours since u landed in India, you got the time to remember me just now? You saw everyone and forgot your best friend.

Ri: I am sorry Muski. See, I am holding my ears.

Mu: huh, do whatever you want. I am not going to listen to you. Where is everyone? I want to talk to them.

Ri: Uncle, bhaiya and bhabhi has gone to office and aunty is in her home. I am Sorry muski, please please please.

She said making a cute puppy face and pouting. Muskaan can't stay angry with Riddhima for long, and that too when she makes a cute puppy face. Her anger melted.

Mu: You behave like a kid at sometimes ridz. Apology accepted. But on a condition, you have to do whatever I say when I come there to Mumbai.

Ri : ok meri maa, I will do whatever you say. Happy now? Muskaan nodded with a grin.

Ri: I miss you sooo much muski.

Mu: I miss you too Ridzi. We never stayed without each other for four and a half years. I am feeling weird without you not around me.

Ri: Same here Muski. When are you coming here?

Mu: I guess, in a couple of weeks.

Ri: OK. How are aunty and uncle there? Are they in home now?

Mu: They are not in home now. Papa has gone to office and mama has gone to her friend's house.

Ri: okay. Tell them I wished them.

Mu: Sure. Did you cried ridz? Ri: Yeah, I saw everyone after so long. Obviously I cried. Why? You didn't cry when you met uncle and aunty after so long?

Mu: Don't act smart ridz. You know what I meant. Riddhima stayed silent, not saying anything. Muskaan sighed.

Mu: For god sake ridz, tell me what happened. You share everything with me except this. Whenever I talk about him, you change the topic. All you do is cry your heart out holding his photo close to you and listen to the songs which he sang for you. You never showed me his photo or let me listen to the songs. I don't even know his name. You..

Riddhima interfered her before she could continue.

Ri: Please Muski, let's talk about something else. I don't want to talk about it.

Muskaan sighed. She knew riddhima won't talk about him to her.

Ri: How is Rahul?

Mu: Don't talk about him.

Ri: Why? What happened again?

Mu: He came here for dinner last night. You know what he said? He said I am a terrible cook.

She said fuming in anger. Riddhima laughed

Mu: Stop laughing ridz

Ri: Seriously Muski, no one will believe that you love each other if they saw you fighting. You both fight and chase each other like Tom & Jerry

Mu: haha, very funny

They continued to talk, telling each other what happened after Muskaan came from London, catching up on the things they missed when they were not together, about everything and anything and laughed. They cut the call after talking for some more time. Riddhima thought to herself, "I am sorry muski, I never told you anything about him and i won't tell you anything ever, especially now when I know he is bhabhi's brother. Knowing you two, I am sure both of you will become good friends once you meet each other when you will come here. I always felt I am doing wrong by not telling anything about him to you. But now I am glad I didn't tell you. I don't want things to be difficult or awkward for anyone because of me". On the other side Muskaan was thinking to herself, "You are never going to tell me anything about him. All i know is you still love him. I don't know anything about him. I tried very hard to make you forget him. But, i didn't succeed in it. At a point i stopped trying when i understood you are never going to move on from him. To a person who doesn't know you, it might seem like you are living a normal life, a peaceful life everyone wishes to live. But only i know what you are going through. If someone listens to you singing, they will be mesmerised. No one except me knows there is a hidden pain behind your mesmerising voice. You once said to me that he loves to listen to you singing, both of your passion for music brought you closer to each other. I can't let you be like this all your life ridz. I will try to find him. You always say he is the music in you. Your music will help me too find him." Riddhima didn't feel like sleeping. She wanted to go to a place which is very close to her heart, the Basketball court. She took her phone from the bedside table and went out of the house. No one was there when she went to the BB court. She felt him very close to her. The place has wonderful memories of them. She smiled remembering those days. She closed her eyes and remembered how he taught her to play Basketball, their cute little fights, his childish behaviour, his antics, everything. A smile crept on her lips remembering those days. She took the ball which was there in the court and basket it. She sat there lost in their memories. A big wide smile was adorning her face all the while when she was lost in their memories. She came out of her memories world when her phone rang. It was a customer service call, she was not in the mood to talk, she pressed the red button. She checked the time, it was nearing 5 O' clock, her uncle, bhaiya and bhabhi will be in home in an hour. She stood up and looked around the court again and walked to her house. She took a shower and went to the other house. She heard laughter sounds, her family was sitting in the living room chatting and laughing. She went in. Anjali saw her Anj: You woke up? I thought you won't wake up for another couple of hours, as you will be tired Riddhima understood others thought she was sleeping in her room when she was in the basketball court. She said Ri: Bhabhi i didn't feel like sleeping, so i went out for a walk. I am sorry for not informing any of you. Anj: It's ok ridz. Come on, sit here. Riddhima smiled and sat beside Anjali.

An: Eat something riddhi, i will bring snacks for you Ananya said and went to the kitchen. Shashank and Padma came there talking to themselves. Riddhima wanted to talk to them, but was scared of their reaction. Billy welcomed them, but they ignored him and others as if they were not there at all and talked to Atul. Pa: Me and Shashank are going out of the country for a couple of months Atul At: ok. He said blankly. Shashank and Padma didn't care, they never did. They walked out. Riddhima was confused. She thought her parents, Billy and Ananya are friends. Now she understood they are not. Everyone was laughing before Shashank and Padma came, but silence prevailed in the room when they walked in. There is definitely something wrong. She should speak to her bhaiya and know what is happening. Her thoughts were broken when she heard Anjali saying something to her. Anj:Eat this ridz. Me and atul will freshen up and come. She said giving her a small bowl of fruit salad. Riddhima nodded and took it from her. Anjali and Atul went to their room. Billy got a call from a client and he got busy with it. Ananya was preparing dinner. Riddhima went and helped her. Anjali came down and said her to go to her room and she will help her mother in preparing the dinner. After some time, Riddhima was in her balcony listening to songs in her i-pod. She was so engrossed in it and didn't notice Atul and Anjali coming into her room. Atul patted her shoulders. Riddhima opened her eyes and smiled at them. At: You are not hungry? Come on lets go for dinner Anj: Come out of your music world ridz, i am hungry RI: i am hungry too, lets go All of them had their dinner laughing & talking. They went for a walk in the garden after dinner and retired to their rooms.

Riddhima was sitting on her bed thinking about what her parents did when they came in the evening. They always ignored her, it was not new for her. But they ignored others too. There is definitely something which her bhaiya is hiding from her. She should talk to her bhaiya about it. She smiled when she thought of her bhaiya, bhabhi, uncle, aunty and of course her best friends Muski and Rahul. She always thanked god for bringing all of them into her life. But her smile faded when she thought of him. He will come to India soon. She can't let her family know they know each other. She should be careful around him. She should stay away from him as much as possible. In her heart she knew she can't forget him. But she can't let him know that. She should be strong in front of him. She will pretend she forgot him and moved on in life like he said. She came out of her thoughts and opened the door when she heard someone knocking the door. It was Anjali.

Ri: What happened bhabhi? You didn't sleep? Why are you dressed in your jeans and shirt at this time?

Anj:I will tell you on the way ridz. Come on, get ready now. All of us are ready except you.

Riddhima looked at her bhabhi whose face was glowing with happiness and got ready without any further questions. She went down to see everyone waiting for her.They sat in the car and atul started driving.Riddhima asked her bhabhi where they were going.

Anj: We are going to the Airport ridz. Armaan is coming. Riddhima was numb. She didn't expect him to come this soon. Others didn't notice her and were talking about Armaan. Riddhima came out of her thoughts when the car stopped. She looked out to see they were in the Airport. All of them stepped out of the car. Anjali dragged Riddhima with her. She stood there with others like a statue. Riddhima felt him near her, her heart started to beat rapidly. She looked around and saw him. There he was, handsome as ever. Like always, he made heads turn. Girls were at looking at him in awe, while the guys envied him. A big wide smile appeared on her lips which reached her tear filled almond eyes when she saw him after five years. She felt the happiness which she never felt in her entire life. She couldn't control her tears and went a few steps away from others to wipe the tears before anyone sees her crying. Anjali ran to armaan and hugged him Anj: I missed you so much Ammy Ar: I missed you too Anji They came out of the hug. Ananya went near them.
