2 Months later :

Shilpa's Pov :

Life is a real roller coaster. Up and downs hit everyone's life. This is what i had been advising myself from some days. Everyone dream of having a perfect life. I had that. A loving husband and a beautiful family. Armaan Mallik is the most perfect husband anyone could have. But still no one is perfect. So can i expect him to be perfect every moment.
No.
Still my heart complaints. My mind isint calm. Several things have changed since two months. The Armaan i see , is he the same guy i fell in love. Is it only me noticing the sudden change in him.Or was my insecurities coming out. I wish Armaan could answer my concerns.
But then for that he needs to talk to me.
Yes. Thats exactly what have been happening all these days. I hardly remember the day i had a decent conversation with my husband. Or rather i say a decent meal. I miss everything about him. His teases , his comments, his arrogant behavior. Everything which used to drive me crazy whenever i met his eyes. What was changing between us. I couldnt understand. But then i was required to stay calm and quiet. He is probably trying to deal with the sudden increase of responsibilities on his shoulder. But then in this struggle will he be able to give time for me ?
I sound foreign to my ownself. Maybe i need to see the bright side of this. Maybe i need to acknowledge he still does have the care for me. But how could this be possible when every single night i wait for him to be back from office and..
Armaan : I am retiring back to bed
Shilpa : But ur dinner..
Armaan : I already took mine . Thanks
Such events really started worrying me. Did he even once bother asking whether i took my food. Does he even notice how long i wait for him every single night to comeback. Do he even notice how much i miss Armaan Mallik. I didint have answer of any question. I just keep wondering to myself on what is going so wrong between us.
Between all these tension there was one night to be remembered. I almost saw back the old Armaan. The same passion, the same smile which he used to have every single night.
That Night ...
Her heartbeat rose as she stared at his cabin door nervously. She glanced down at her watch. 11 Pm. Surely no patients or duty will be on his way. With a deep breath Shilpa opens the door slowly and peeks inside. Armaan set their staring down at his file studying it. He didint bother to glance up. But then what was new about his change of behavior. Keeping in mind her plans she closed the door and locked it. This caught his attention. He glanced up , his eyes grew wide as he stared at her in surprise.. " What are you doing here.. "
Shilpa almost smiled. She felt the confidence return in her knowing maybe her plan was going to work. She clasped her jacket close and realized him staring down at it..
"I wanted to see you doctor.. "
Her sultry deep voice made him nervous. She could see the struggle on his face as he tried to take off his eyes from her seductive form.With a light chuckle she took a seat infront of him as he dragged his eyes back to his file. Leaning back she crossed her legs only to feel his eyes returning back on them..
"Dont you think you should be back home.. " He spoke carefully trying to keep his voice strong but she felt it straining. With a teasing smile she leaned towards him as he swallowed.. "Come on Doctor dont be a spoil the fun.. "
He grunted and glanced at her in dissatisfaction which made her upset.. "Fun is the last thing in my mind right now.. Shilpa i really need to.. "
His voice trailed off as she got up from the seat staring right in his eyes. Swaying her hips seductively she came infront of him , and then surprised him by sitting on his lap. He gasped and glanced around nervous.. "Shilpa this is not time.. "
When was the time ever.. She wanted to stay loud but then changed her mind. Bringing back the naughty look on her face she traced his neck as he stared at her blankly.. " Really doctor. I need your help badly.. I am.. Very sick.. "
She spoke the words huskily while nibbling his neck with her soft lips.. She glanced in his eyes and grinned noticing that he was now in her trance..
"What happened to you.. " He whispered back staring right through her making her shiver..
" I was wondering if you could treat me doctor.." She spoke breathlessly as she pulled her down her neck , which he followed obediently. Showering light kisses on his neck he pulled back with a teasing smile, the smile she had missed.
"You havent still told what the disease is.. "
With a seductive smile she undid the first button.. " Why dont you check. " Next came the second " For yourself.. " And the next " And see my problem "
And then...
"Damn " He muttered getting up from his seat straitening his clothes.. His glanced down his pager and rubbed his neck tiredly..
Shilpa bit her lip feeling awkward and started to button back her jacket. She tried to speak when he turned with a grim face.. " I guess you should be going back home now. Dont wait for me i will be late "

Several days had passed since the event but Shilpa found it hard ignoring the way he was treating her. She knew he had problems coming in his life. But why wasnt he sharing his trouble with her. What was her importance in his life now. The thought made her cringe inside. Maybe Armaan mallik needed his own dose. With a foul mood she walked out of the locker room heading for duty.

"Is it only me or do you guys also feel Armaan and Shilpa is having some trouble " Anjali spoke worriedly as they met in the in the locker room at the end of the day.
"I dont know. What makes you think so Anjali " Muskaan spoke sitting in the bench..
Atul kept thinking silently as Rahul replied.. " I guess its just trustees problem effecting them."
Atul sighed and shook his head.. " But i think more than Armaan I feel Shilpa is tensed. She looks pale nowadays, i guess too much worrying.. "
Everyone agreed as Anjali spoke.. " I know that. I see the trouble eyes every time. Why do i feel there is a sudden change in behavior of Armaan "
" Hey guys ! " The gang brought a end to their talk as Shilpa walked inside quietly..
" Hey Shilpa are you fine.. ? " Atul spoke moving beside her with a worried look..
Shilpa hesitated a smile.. " Why.. Whats wrong with me.. ? "
" You really look worried. Come on Tell us.. " Muskaan chided in putting a hand on her shoulder..
Shilpa was touched by their gesture but then this was a matter she had to solve herself. " I am fine guys. Just the work is getting on me.. "
Anjali studied her silently and preferred staying silent. But a smile formed on her lips as Armaan walked in.. "And maybe workload is getting on this man too "
Everyone smiled at him instead of Shilpa who glanced away grimly.
Armaan gave a nod passing a tired smile. Instead of heading to his locker he went beside her. Shilpa felt her heartbeat rise feeling him close again. She mentally scolded herself and tried to keep a cold posture. But then she knew how much she had missed his presence..
Taking a deep breath Armaan smiled down at her.. "I have to go on a dinner party with some clients tonight. You are coming with me right.. "
It took her every will power to stay calm and not react to him.. Maybe she really needed to make him realize his mistake.. " NO "
His smile faded off as he frowned. The gang glanced at her surprised..
"You have any work to do.. " He spoke hesitantly still shocked with her cold behavior. Shilpa sighed and glanced at him with sad eyes which confused him more.. "No. I just dont want to go.. "
Her straightforwardness shocked him. He stood trying to figure out as she took her bag heading to Rahul..
" Rahul can you please drop me home.. "
Her voice felt more weak then she thought. Everyone grew silent with her sudden change in behavior. Rahul glanced back at Armaan who stood worried and then at Shilpa. " Sure if you want.. "
Without a backward glance she left the room while Armaan stared at her retreating back..

" I hate rain " She blurted out with a foul mood as she stared outside.. The rainy whether wasnt doing any good to her heart. He needed dose of his own medicine. She advised herself heading back to the kitchen silently.. Stirring the hot soup she kept staring down at it when the sound of the door startled her. She glanced up to see Armaan who walked inside drying his wet hair..
" Hey " He spoke quietly putting down his back with a gentle smile. The smile made her heart ache, but then her mood was too bad to forgive him. He sighed heavily noticing her cold behavior.. "Is this the moment where i have to stay I am sorry Shilpa for requesting you to accompany me for the dinner "
Shilpa glanced at him feeling like her anger was ready to burst.. " You really dont get it.. Right Armaan "
" Sorry that i am not a mind reader.. " He muttered taking off his jacket cursing under his breath..
She brushed away a anger tear and got back on her cooking.. At the moment she realized how much she wanted to go away to the room, bury her face into the pillow and sleep. But then maybe running away was too out of rate..
She gasped feeling him hug her from behind.. She tried to move away but then he held her tight and firm making it impossible for her.. Before she knew the tears started to make way down her cheeks as she cried softly.. He tensed beside her and whispered. " I really dont like when you cry.. "
Feeling tired and defeated she turned back hugging him, crying louder.. He winced almost in pain.. " And i dont like at all when i am the reason for your crying.. "
She sobbed in his arms as he soothed her rocking her gently.. "Maybe i am becoming too uncaring these days.. Isint it.. "
Her loud cry guaranteed him. Grunting to himself he muttered out a sorry and held her in silence.. As her sobs subsided he pulled back and cleared her tears.. " What should i say.. I just want to you understand that.. "
Closing her eyes she interrupted him.. " The truth is that you dont give me a chance to understand you.. "
He stared at her blankly as she snorted in anger.. " You really cant expect me to understand every single behavior of urs. Really dont. Specially when you a literally pushing me out of ur life.. "
"Thats not true.. " He blurted out stunned by her words..
She shook her head with a sudden sadness and sighed.. " Its the truth Armaan. See it before you are too late.. "
She tried to walk off as he pulled her close staring down at her.. "I am not going to hurt you. Dont think of walking away from me.. "
She gave him a bitter smile and shook her head.. " Dont worry about me. I just hope you dont do that.. "
Startled by her words his grip loosened as she pulled away and stormed out off the kitchen..
Shilpa ran to the room and set on the bed trying to fight back with the tears and pain. Tears were too overrated for her.. Maybe it was time to fight back for everything.
