Part 45

"Dr.Shilpa.. You will guide me in General Ward.. "
"Yes Dr Atul.. " Shilpa followed Atul quietly making their way back for the duties. Slowly she followed him inside the elevator when Atul spoke softly.. "Shilpa.. Are you fine.. " The worry in his eyes surprised her at the moment.. Shilpa forced a smile on her lips.. "Ofcourse i am fine. Whats wrong with me.."
"Maybe you are missing Armaan.. After all he has been gone for a week now." Atul smiled back at her and moved his attention back onto the file. Taking the opportunity Shilpa drew a deep breath as her thoughts flew back to the miserable week she had spent alone. After the tiff they had regarding the baby talk Armaan had left for his conference , and through out the week he hadnt bothered to contact her in any mean. Getting depressed with the thoughts Shilpa cringed inwardly..
"Well then lets get on to our duty.. " " Sure.. " Shilpa followed Atul out of the elevator making their way back to the general ward.

"Shilpa you will take the case of that small girl Today.. She is a cancer patient.. " Atul spoke quietly as they made their way near the small girl who set on the bed smiling.. Shilpa's heart went out for the small child seeing her smile despite of the weakness which was showing in her eyes..
"Hey whats your Name.. " Shilpa spoke softly while caressing the cheeks of the girl.. " Hi Doctor i am Vini.. " Vini smiled at her while blushing softly..
Shilpa smiled broadly and glanced at Vini's mother who smiled at her tiredly.. "Vini you have such a beautiful Name.. So how are you feeling today.. "
Shilpa started to proceed with check up of Vini while Atul slowly kept inspecting her.. As she finished injecting Vini Atul walked upto them.. "Shilpa. You seem to adore kids a lot.. "
Shilpa just stared down at the cute Vini and smiled. But soon her smile faded of as she heard the deep voice of her husband behind them.. "But Some people seems to have less love towards children.. "
Shilpa flinched hearing his sarcastic words.. Atul sensed the change in her behavior but brushing it off he turned back to Armaan who smiled at him softly.. "Hey Atul how are you.. " Atul hugged him tightly while patting his shoulder.. "Armaan.. Missed you man.. I am good and things are great in here.. "
He pulled back and noticed Shilpa who kept ignoring Armaan while doing her work. Atul let out a nervous laugh.. " Anyways great that you are back Armaan. Shilpa was missing you pretty bad.. "
"Ohh ya am sure she would have.. " Shilpa felt like he had spoken in a taunting way which made her heart swell in pain. Still she longed to see his face after a wait of dreadful week. But then her pride took over as she took a step back with her file.. "Excuse me doctors.. "

Armaan grunted as finally he freed himself from the gang after they had welcomed him back into the hospital. But she had been missing through out the time after she had walked out of the ward abruptly.. Armaan Mallik you are such a Jerk.. He muttered under his breath recalling the way he had spoken today. Not something he had thought of saying , instead he had practiced many lines in mind to say to her.. I have lost my mind.. He concluded quietly as he walked inside his cabin. For a moment he stilled as he noticed his beloved wife who set near the desk writing down notes. The sullen look on her face didint go unnoticed by him as he slowly made his way to take a seat infront of her.. Sitting down he cleared his throat but Shilpa continued on ignoring him.. He tried once again , this time making the noise little louder. But seeing her not respond he repeated the action for several times when finally Shilpa put down her pen and glared at him.. "Should i get you some cough syrup Dr Mallik.. " She spoke gritting her teeth trying to keep herself calm. Shilpa felt annoyed with herself. Eventhough she had a cold look on her face her heart was beating fast as she stared at his handsome face which she had missed from a week. He looked more fresh , Shaved and also had taken a new haircut. Armaan made a face and muttered under his breath.. "Dr. Shilpa dont you think you should have your full attention to your senior while you work.. "
Without letting her interrupt he continued.. "Tonight we have to go to a business party. I have got invitation where we both are invited. So please where something good.. "
Shilpa scowled at him and dropped down the notepad while getting up in anger... " Excuse me.. !! What do you mean .. ? I wear boring clothes.. "
He passed a arrogant smile but inside his heart taunted himself.. Liar.. "Ya It would be great if you wear something respectable.. "
She stared at him for a second with a smug look.. "Sure Dr.Mallik.. I will make sure i wear something according to your so called standard.. "
"What a welcome " He muttered under his breath as she stormed out off the cabin in anger..

"I think i told you to wear something RESPECTABLE ! " He spoke mortified as he stared down at her red devilish sexy gown half surprised and half stunned.. Shilpa placed her hands on her hips frowning at him.. "For your kind information Mallik you have become Blind.. "
His eyes ran over her body as he smiled appreciatively.. " And for your kind information i am very much not blind and i do see every single curve. My worry is that it wont be only be noticing this.. "
A smirk came on her face as she walked pass him taking her bag.. "So what. What can i do if a am beautiful.. "
"What.. !" He shook his head surprised of her choose of words... Shilpa grinned inwardly seeing him confused.. "Now shall we leave Mr.Mallik "

Sometimes i should just listen to my Husband.. Shilpa felt like scolding herself as she noticed people eying her nonstop through out the party.. Armaan seem to have unnoticed as he kept himself buxy with discussing about business with the clients.. Shilpa tried to free her hand from his grip but he held it tight.. "Can you please let go of my hand.. " She spoke gritting her teeth while smiling at the clients who smiled back to her.. Armaan turned to face her with a fake smile while muttering under his breath.. "No Darling.. I know very well you are going to run away from here. So dont even bother.. "
"Mallik.. Can we do this ? Why dont you just cut of my hand.. "
"Cut what Mrs.Mallik.. ?? " Mr.Simon Interrupted their banter with a amused smile.. Shilpa passed a nervous look and him and laughed.. "Ohh Nothing sir i was just telling about.. "
"Cutting the cake.. " Armaan interrupted with a big smile.. Simon glanced around confused as Shilpa spoke softly.. "There is NO CAKE Armaan.. "
"Thats the first thing which came in my mind Shilpa.. "Armaan replied under his breath while changing the topic with Simon.. Shilpa rubbed her neck getting bored when suddenly Simon spoke excitedly.. " Thats such a nice song playing there dont you think.."
"Ohh Mr.Simon why dont we have a dance.. " Shilpa felt Armaan glare at her but she kept smiling knowing she wanted to free herself from his grip..
Simon passed a funny look at her and shook his head.. "Actually Mrs.Mallik I was going to suggest that You both should dance together.. "

"Shilpa Got a Boo Boo "
" SHUT UP Armaan ! "
"Watever "
"Armaan stop making faces.. " Shilpa glared at him while gripping his shoulders tightly..
"Ohh Mr.Simon why dont we have dance.. " Armaan mimicked her words.. "You were so eager to get away from me right.. "
"Ofcourse.. I was so eager to do dirty dance with Him tchh.." Shilpa spoke seductively while tracing his collarbone.. His jaw clenched as he gripped her both hands pinning it to her back.. Shilpa flinched in surprise , and also glad with the fact the dance floor was dark enough not to see what was happening here.. She glanced at his face which was shadowed due to darkness but still she could clearly see his handsome features.. Armaan leaned down at her and spoke threateningly.. "Mrs.Shilpa Mallik you better get onething in your head. Dance or whatever dirty thing you have to do it would be with me Only Me.. !"
Her breath caught as she stared at him with her mouth wide open.. Armaan gave himself a victory grin seeing the look on her face.. But soon the grin faded of as he noticed her not responding to his threat. Instead she kept staring at him with a funny look. Clearing his throat he gave a gentle nudge to her.. "Shilpa "
"Huhhh " She blinked her eyes as he spoke impatiently.. "You were.. Staring.. Remember.. "
Shilpa slowly moved her hands up on his chest slowly caressing him in a seductive manner.. He gave a strange look when she spoke breathlessly..
"You know Armaan.. Whenever you speak like this dangerously.. You look so sexy.. "
Armaan started to cough loudly as Shilpa bent down showering light kisses on his neck.. Slowly he pushed her away glancing around embarrassed.. "Are you Drunk.. What did you drink back there.. "
"Orange juice.. " Shilpa shrugged her shoulders while smiling at him teasingly.. Armaan groaned inwardly and took her hand leading her from the dance floor.. "Now i see you have a changed mood.. "
"What can i do if you turn me on.. " She pouted at him , Armaan gave a nervous laugh and spoke silently.. "Stop doing that. I am getting a room now.. "
A blush formed on her cheeks as she stopped on halfway embarrassed.. "Room.. In the Hotel.. ? Lets just go home.. "
He turned around facing her with a frown.. "Ohh wow suddenly you are blushing.Well sorry to say Mrs.Mallik Too late.. "

She gasped loudly as he jumped on the bed along with her.. He stared at her with a naughty look.. "So what were you saying there wifey.. I am sexy and i.. "
"Armaan stop" Shilpa interrupted blushing as he started to nuzzle her neck.. A giggle escaped from her mouth as he started to nip her neck.. He smiled and kissed her neck whispering lightly.. "You know.. I missed us.."
"Me too.. " Shilpa replied breathlessly as he started to unbutton his shirt.. As he took it off she ran her hand on his hard muscles.. "And i missed this.." She spoke while kissing him on chest seductively.. He groaned and pulled her back kissing her hungrily.. "Whatelse did you miss.. " She responded back to him eagerly and spoke between kisses.. "I missed... This.. "
Impatiently he pulled back and started to pull of the straps on her shoulder.. Shilpa lay there staring at him while he did he work.. Loosing down her dress he adjusted himself on her while kissing her softly savoring the moment.. Lost in the moment he starts to kiss her neck passionately when suddenly her pager goes off.. Shilpa gives a pat on his back.."Armaan.. My pager is ringing.. "
Ignoring her protests he kept nuzzling her neck when she pushed him back slowly pulling up her dress.. " It must be something important.. "
"Ya always important.. " He muttered irritatedly laying back on the bed staring up at the ceiling.. After adjusting her dress she pulled out the pager from her bag and opened it. Armaan glanced up as he noticed her get up from the bed abruptly.. " Its Vini.. They have a Emergency.. " She spoke flatly.. Armaan recalled his behavior in the morning and started to feel bad at the moment. Giving a curt nod he pulled on his shirt and started to button it.. "I will drive you there. "
"Armaan you dont have to come home. We can drive home after that i will.." Shilpa tried to reason out when he interrupted getting up.. "No we are going straight to Hospital.. Vini Needs You.. "
She glanced up at him as she heard him speak the last words softly.. Seeing the trust in his eyes she gave a nod.. " She needs me.. "
