Part 16

Khush-Arnav both wake up smiling, looking at each other, bundled together as if nobody could separate them! Arnav had already brought her back to life once when death tried to separate them, now he couldn't let go of her again. NOPE. NEVER. He wishes her good morning in his usual husky tone and she replies with a giggle and a "Good Maarning". He loved hearing her English words that were so-not English. The things that annoyed him the most before, he found them cute now!

Khushi has a shower with Arnav's help again. She walks out in her gown and gets dressed while Arnav goes in the shower and freshens himself. When Arnav walks out, Khushi gets shocked.

Khushi: Oh Devi Maiyaa. What is this?

Arnav: what?

Khushi: where is your suit?

Arnav smirks: Why, don't you like me like this?

Khushi: its definitely not LaadGovernor-type and its very different but I love it already, but what will people think? What will your clients think?

Arnav: Why would my clients come into my bedroom, just to look at me like this?

Khushi: aren't you going to go to office?

Arnav looks at her in awe: Khushi.majaan...It's Sunday today!!!

Khushi: Ohhh that's why you're wearing causals. Now I get it. See we need a calendar in this room. Otherwise I wouldn't know which day you have a holiday.

Arnav smirks: Oooh so you can know which days I can manage to wake up late. Cough cough

He winks at her. She shys away. He walks upto her and following their usual everyday schedule, Arnav fills her maang and makes her wear the mangalsutra. She always felt shy at that and Arnav loved that look of his wife. They both hold hands and go down the stairs. Anjali spots them. She walks to Arnav and Khushi.

Anjali: Arnav, I had told you that by morning it will either be me or Khushi in this house.

Arnav: Di, please have breakfast first. Then we will talk.

Anjali agrees on Arnavs insistence while Khushi had already left to go serve the rest of the family who had no idea what was going on. Khushi and Payal serve the breakfast while Anjali and Shyam say they will have breakfast in their room. Payal goes and takes their food. After breakfast, Arnav says he has an announcement to make.

Nani: what is it beta?

Arnav: nani, its about what I spoke to you before our marriages. I know we hadn't any time then, but I think right time has come.

Mami: don't go round round in circles, please tell us.

Arnav: I am taking about the honeymoon. Nani and I had booked payal and akash's honeymoon. But after everything has happened so much that they couldn't go. So, I think they should go now.

Nani: you and Khushi will also go

Arnav looks at Khushi and they both share a romantic glance

Arnav nods: Okay Nani. So we leave tonight. Payal Akash pack your bags quickly. The fight is at 6pm so the driver will drop us off at 4.

Akash: but where are we going, Bhai?

Arnav: Lucknow.

Khushi and Payal get excited as its their home. They both hold hands and share a hug.

Akash: bhai, what about business then? We have already taken so many days off recently as well.

Arnav: we are not employees, akash. We can take the days off. Even employees have days off for honeymoon. Besides, I have told aman and he will handle everything. You don't worry.

Akash nods and smiles.

Everyone leaves to go pack their bags, while Anjali and Shyam are still in their room finishing off breakfast. They both have no idea that the couples are going for their honeymoon.

Anjali comes out, gets to know about the honeymoon, and walks to Arnavs room and asks her about the same. She says how come they are leaving all of a sudden.

Arnav: di, you said that khushi will have to leave tonight or you will go. Khushi and I respect you very much to let you go. Which is why according to the condition, khushi is leaving tonight. So you don't have to go anywhere now.

Anjali thinks about the smart move her brother has played with her and walks off without saying anything to which Arnav smirks and feels a bit helpless too at the same time that he had to think like a businessman to keep both his relations safe and secure. The smirk because with the condition, he gets to go spend romantic moments with his beloved wife.

Khushi looking at what happened: Arnavji, so this is why we are going?

Arnav walks to her and puts his arms around her waist and pretends: Well, yeah, I couldn't let you go out of the house, and I couldn't let Di go out of the house.

Khushis face changes a little bit, Arnav notices.

Arnav pulls her closer: Also, we still haven't had our proper suhaagrat, Missus Raizada. And kisses her on the lips.

Khushi moans in pleasure, breaks off gently and hides her face in his chest: Laad governor kahi ke!

Payal and Akash start packing their suitcases, and Akash tries to flirt with Payal and she just shys away and Akash's phone rings and he says something urgent has come up, so Arnav advises them to pack quickly and take their suitcases with them to the meeting and meet ARHI at the airport at 5. Payash agree and leave quickly. Arnav gets out the suitcases for their honeymoon clothes, and puts them on the bed. Khushi comes from outside and sees only one suitcase on bed.

Khushi: where is my suitcase, arnavji?

Arnav: I thought you like your organic bags, so pack your clothes in them.

Arnav points to them. Khushi sees a load of organic bags next to the cupboard.

Khushi: No, I will pack my bags in a suitcase too like you. Afterall I am Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada.

Arnav interrupts: ek businessman ki patni, right?

Khushi shys away remembering when she said that couple of months ago when trying to start a business.

Arnav gets the suitcase out from under the bed which he had hidden when he saw her coming through the door.

Arnav: there you go, Mrs. Raizada

Khushi holds the suitcase from him and starts packing her clothes : anarkali suits, juttiya bags and even puts in her chameli ka tel. Arnav sees this and makes a "what the" expression.

Arnav: what are you doing, Khushi?

Khushi: packing my bag.

Arnav: you do realise we are going on a honeymoon, and not for someone's marriage. Just keep 2-3 suits for coming and going. We will buy new clothes from Lucknow. Besides, we are staying at a resort in lucknow, we are not going to be roaming around the bazaars, so we will buy some English clothes for you aswell.

Hearing this, she gasps.

Khushi: what? Angrezi kapde? NA NA, I am not wearing those clothes Lavanya ji did. Don't even think about it Laad governor.

Arnav: oh I see you're back to my nickname. He goes touches her nose and gently nudges it. She removes his hand.

Khushi: I am serious, I am not wearing those mini skirts.

Arnav: arrey baba, I am not telling you to wear mini skirts, but you can wear jeans and tops right. And long dresses are fine too. Besides, I know you're jiji is also packing some English clothes.

Khushi folding her arms to her chest: how do you know?

Arnav: Akash, duh!

Khushi gets shocked and then agrees to wear English clothes. So she only has less stuff to take now.

Khushi packs Arnavs clothes too. Arnav tells her to pack all casuals and cotton shoes. They both pack their clothes in one suitcase since they realise they don't need 2 suitcases. Arnav also takes his laptop which irks Khushi but she doesn't say anything. So, after packing their clothes, they realise its already 3pm. They both run down, have a snack of gol gappe and chaat papdi prepared by Khushi, take everyone's blessings and leave for the airport.
