Thanks for the likes & comments! Sorry for the delay in updating,was caught up with some work so couldnt update even after Navratri ended.

Part 34 Arnav: Chalo,lets hav a bath!
Khushi(thinks): Hey Devi Maiyya! Ab toh pahuch chuke hum airport samay par!

Arnav moves towards Khushi,with every intention of scooping her up in his arms, when his phone beeps.

Arnav: 1 minute..

Khushi heaves a momentary sigh of relief.

Khushi(thinks): Kal raat ki baat ko lekar aise hi di,jiji humein khoob chhedenge.Ab agar unhe lene samay se nahi pahuche toh.. Hey Devi Maiyya! Koi toh raasta hoga bachke nikalne kaa?..

The raasta presented itself in the form of an excited,loudly-bleating Lakshmi,who jumped with joy,or so it seemed,upon finally seeing Khushi.

"Lakshmiji!.." Khushi screamed with equal joy and ran to hug her.

Arnav: Let me call u back.. (pause)ya,okay.

When Arnav saw Khushi hugging Lakshmi and cuddling her,he felt much more jealous than he had felt when Khushi used to hang around with NK before their (ArHi's) first wedding.

Arnav(in an agitated tone): Khushi!

Khushi(not lookin at him): Kya hua?

Arnav: Lakshmi ko baahar nikaalo aur darwaza band kar k yahaan aao,right now!
Khushi turned around to face him & gave him her trademark shocked expression.

Khushi: Aap itne zaalim kabse ho gaye Arnavji? Bichari Lakshmiji ne kya bigaada hai aapka jo aap unhe baahar nikaal rahe hain,bataiyye..

Arnav: Khushi,stop the nonsense! (yells)Hari Prakash...! Hari Prakash...!

HP(from the ground floor): Abhi aaya Arnav bhaiyya...!

Khushi(yells back): Rehne dijiye HPji...!

She stands up,her hand still on Lakshmi's collar and looks angrily at Arnav.

Khushi: Ek baat toh bataiyye,aap itne naraaz kyun ho rahe hain?

Arnav(cocks an eyebrow): Tumhe nahi pata Khushi?Really?

Khushi: Agar Lakshmiji ki jagah di ya jiji ya jijaji yahaan aaye hote,toh kya aap unhe bhi baahar nikaal dete?

Arnav: Khushi,kya bakwaas hai yeh?

Khushi: Nahi nikaalte na aap unhe?Toh phir Lakshmiji ko kyun?Sirf isiliye,kyunki woh ek bezubaan janvaar hai,aap jo jee me aayega woh karenge,hai naa?Theek hai, toh hum bhi inke saath baahar nikal jaate hain!

She turns around to go,when Arnav catches her arm.

Khushi: Chhodiye humein...

Arnav takes a deep breath and closes his eyes,trying his best to talk to her in a normal tone.

Arnav: I'm sorry... But Khushi main tumhare saath privately time spend karna chahta tha aur yeh aa gayi toh..

Khushi(interrupts): Par yeh hi kaam aap kal subha bhi kar sakte hain,hai naa? Aur agar Lakshmiji ki jagah parivaar ka koi sadasya aata toh aap aise hi naraaz hote kya? Sara gussa inpe kyun?

She bends to caress Lakshmi's head.

Khushi: Kya aapne yeh socha ki ghar me kal se koi bhi nahi tha-na naniji,na di,na aap na hum.. Sara samay yeh bas HPji k saath raheen.. Inhe bhi toh sabki yaad aa rahi hogi naa? Par aap inke baare me kyun sochenge?Arnav Singh Raizada ko khud k baare me sochne se fursat milegi jab naa woh doosron k baare me sochenge!

Arnav realizes the truth behind her words & feels ashamed.

Khushi(gets up): Chaliye Lakshmiji,hum naniji k kamre me chalte hain..

Before she could turn..

Arnav: Khushi!..

Khushi looks at him but doesnt say anything.

Arnav(sighs): Kya chahti ho,ki main Lakshmi se maafi maangu?

Khushi: Nahi,nahi,humein pata hai ki aap aisa kabhi nahi kar payenge! Kahaan aap aur kahaan yeh! Arnav Singh Raizada ek janvaar se maafi maangne se toh rahe! (sighs) Hum kuch nahi chahte! Aap jaiyye,naha lijiye,phir sabko airport se le aaiyye. Hum yaheen rahenge,inke saath.

Arnav: Ok fine,I'm sorry!

Khushi: Humse kyun keh rahe hain? (points to Lakshmi) inse kahiye!

Arnav looks at Lakshmi to find her gazing at him with her big eyes.

Arnav(in a low tone): SOrry!

Lakshmi bleats.

Khushi: Inhone aapko maaf kar diya!

Arnav: Great!

He smiles,relief evident on his face.

Khushi: Par humne nahi kiya!
Arnav: Right! Toh bolo,tumhari maafi paane k liye mujhe kya karna hoga?

Khushi: Hum.. inhe bhi airport.. le chale?

Arnav: Hav u lost it? Lakshmi ko.. airport?..

Khushi: Kyun nahi?Naniji k liye yeh kitna badhiya surprise hoga! Bahut khush hongi woh inhe wahaan dekh kar! Aur... is hi bahaane Lakshmiji ki sair bhi ho jayegi. Agar yeh ghar par rahi,toh HPji ko inka dhyan rakhna padega.Ab woh khana banayenge ya inhe sambhaalenge?

Arnav: Dont worry.HP ise handle kar lega.

Khushi: Ya toh hum dono jayenge ya dono me se ek bhi nahi!

Arnav: Fine! Lakshmi ko sair par jana hai,right? Toh yeh Mohan k saath doosri car me sair par jayegi jab ki tum mere saath SUV me chalogi,understood?

Lakshmi bleats again.

Arnav: Good! Looks like isme tumse zyada dimaag hai,isiliye yeh baatein jaldi samajh jaati hai!

Khushi: Kya!?

Arnav: Main nahaane ja raha hoon,agar tumhe mere saath aana hai toh 10 minute me taiyyar ho jao!

So saying he heads to the bathroom.

Khushi(thinks): Jai ho Devi Maiyya ki! Aap laakh-laakh shukar hai Devi Maiyya jo aapne Lakshmiji ko apne doot k roop me bhej diya,humari madad karne k liye!
She hugs Lakshmi.

Outside the airport...

Khushi(feeds a jilebi to Anjali): Mubaarak ho,di!

Anjali hugs her.

Khushi: Naniji,aap jiji aur jijaji k saath chhoti wali gaadi me chali jaiyye. Wahaan aapke liye ek surprise hai!

Naniji: Aur Anjali bitiya?

Khushi: Di ko hum apne saath le jaa rahe hain,badi wali gaadi me. Wahaan Arnavji di ki raah dekh rahe hain..

Naniji: Theek hai Chhoti bitiya..

Khushi: Chaliye di.

Anjali: Chhotey yahaan tak kyun nahi aaye?

Khushi:Koi zaroori phone aa gaya.Tabhi unhone humein yahaan bheja..

Anjali: Sab.. theek hai na Chhoti?Kahin aap apni di se kuch chhupa toh nahi rahi hain naa?

Khushi: Nahi di,hum kuch nahi chhupa rahe hain aap se.Sab theek hai,aap zara bhi chinta mat kijiye!Aaiyye..

Arnav notices Khushi & Anjali approaching the car from the rear view mirror.

Arnav: Ji,aap saare details mujhe kal subha tak fax kar dijiye..(pause)I'll speak to u later.

He ends the call & comes out of the car to see Anjali coming towards him with tears in her eyes.

Seeing her like that,Arnav looses control over his emotions.
Arnav: Di...!

He envelops her in a bone crushing hug,as tears run down his cheek.

They hug each other for 5 minutes,which seem like an eternity to both of them.
Anjali: Tum theek toh ho naa Chhotey?

Arnav(breaks the hug): Ha di,main bilkul theek hoon! Aap kaisi hain?

Anjali: Kya batayen?Humne jab se Chhoti se halwe ki baat suni,humein tumhari bahut chinta ho gayi thi Chhotey.. (caresses his cheek) Hum jaante hain,aaj tumne mamma ko bahut miss kiya..

She hugs him again.

Arnav: Ha di,maine maa ko miss toh bahut kiya,lekin aaj bhabhi me mujhe maa ki jhalak nazar aayi..

He breaks the hug and holds her hands.

Arnav: Aap unke haath ka halwa khakar hairan reh jayengi di!

Anjali: Chhoti ne bataaya humein..Chaliye,humein ghar lekar chaliye,humein unse milna hai aur halwa bhi toh chakhna hai.

Khushi: Halwa toh hum saath hi laaye hain di..

Anjali turns to look at Khushi.

Khushi:Aap dono peechhe ki seat par baithkar aaram se baatein kariye,aap halwa khaiyye,gaadi hum chalayenge.

Arnav: No way Khushi!

Khushi: Yes way,Arnavji! Humne kayeen baar aapki gairhaazri me,aapki gaadi par apne haath saaf kiye hain,isiliye aapko chinta karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai! Ab hum ise achchhe se chalaana seekh gaye hain! Kyun di?

Anjali nods.

Arnav(shocked): Di aapko pata tha..?

Khushi: Hum inhe aur naniji ko bithaakar mandir tak bhi le gaye hain!
Arnav: Yeh sab kab hua?

Khushi: Jab aap Mumbai gaye huye the,tab!

Arnav: I see!

Khushi: Ab chaliye,yahaan khade-khade waqt zaaya mat kariye.GHar par mehmaan aate hi honge.. Humein unke aane se pehle ghar pahuchna hai.

Arnav & Anjali sit in the backseat while Khushi takes charge of driving the SUV.

Anjali: Shaadi ki khabar sunkar... tum.. khush toh ho naa Chhotey?

Arnav doesnt say anything.

Anjali: Kahin tumhe is shaadi se koi aitraaz toh nahi hai naa?Bolo..

Hahaha... i loved how khushi used lakshmi to avoid bathing with arnav again...
dat was a nice part wen khushi revealed her driving skills to arnav..

so she used lakshami as an excuse to get out of being there with him in the bathroom taking a shower together
well kuch toh karna hi that na inhe warna kabhi nahin pahunchte airport

Khushi: Y r u telling me? (points to Lakshmi) Y not tell her?!

Arnav looks at Lakshmi to find her gazing at him with her big eyes.

Arnav(in a low tone): SOrry!

Lakshmi bleats.

Khushi: She's forgiven u!

Arnav: Great!

He smiles,relief evident on his face.

Khushi: But I havent!
Arnav: Right! So tell me,what do I need to do to gain ur forgiveness?

Khushi: Can we.. take her to the.. airport as well?

Arnav: Hav u lost it? Lakshmi to.. the airport?..

Khushi: Y not?Naniji will b so happy to see her there! Itll b a wonderful surprise for her! And.. Lakshmiji will hav a nice,long drive! If she stays at home, HPji will hav to look after her.Now u tell me,will he cook or look after her?

Arnav: Dont worry.HP will handle her.

Khushi: Either we both go or none of us does!

Arnav: Fine! Lakshmi needs to go for a long drive,right? So she'll go for that with Mohan in the other car while u will come with me in the SUV,understood?

Lakshmi bleats again.

Arnav: Good! Looks like she has more brains than u,she understands stuff much faster than u do!

Khushi: What!?

Arnav: I'm goin for a bath.Now,if u r interested in going to the airport,getready in 10 minutes!

So saying he heads to the bathroom.

Khushi(thinks): Jai ho Devi Maiyya ki! Thanks a ton,Devi Maiyya for sending Lakshmiji to help me!
She hugs Lakshmi.

Khushi: No di,I'm not.All is absolutely well,dont worry! Come!

He breaks the hug and holds her hands.

Arnav: U'll b shocked when u eat the halwa she's made,di!

Anjali: Chhoti told me about it..Take me home,Chhotey.I need to meet her n have the halwa as well.

Khushi: I've got the halwa here,di..

Anjali turns to look at Khushi.

Khushi: Now,u both sit n talk in the backseat,u enjoy the halwa meanwhile I'll drive the car!

Arnav: No way Khushi!

Khushi: Yes way,Arnavji! I hav tried my hand at ur car many times,in ur absence,so u need not worry! Now I can drive it jolly well! Right di?

Anjali nods.

Arnav(shocked): Di u knew about this..?

Khushi: I've driven her n naniji to the mandir as well!
Arnav: When did all this occur?

Khushi: When u were off to Mumbai!

Arnav: I see!

Khushi: Now dont waste time.We need to reach home before the guests. So,lets go!

Arnav & Anjali sit in the backseat while Khushi takes charge of driving the SUV.
