"Khushi!" I called out. I managed to finish up the files she wanted and it was well 5 minutes before noon.

"Khushi!! Khushi!!" I yelled out. Now I was starting to panic. "Khushi!!!"

I heards her voice from the kitchen, I sighed in relief.

"Yeah don't worry I'll be there, 8 O'Clock at the Nirvana. Now I have to go that Rakshash is calling me." She said hanging up unaware of the fact that I had been listening to her conversation.

She turned around and I saw a surprised reaction on her face for a spit second until she regained herself. "Reports ready?" She asked casually biting into her apple walking out.

"Yeah." I said handing her the papers.

"Very good. Thank you, that'll be all for today." She said walking to her room.

I followed shortly behind. I went into her room, "Khushi I heard you are going..."

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada. Don't you know it's bad manners to enter someone's room without knocking." She said getting up with a smirk on her face. I rolled my eyes. I stepped out of the room and knocked.

"Yes?"

"May I please come in?" I asked irritatedly.

"No." She said as she closed the door on my face with a smile.

Ugggh! What was the point of that then!!!! This girl is going to drive me crazy! Fine, I was playing easy with her till now, now I'm going to make her realize what she was missing.

I took out my phone and dialed a number. "Hello Anita?"

I was in the living room sitting dressed for a party. I was also invited to this party at Nirvana's that Khushi is going to but I never really got around to them but I decided it wouldn't be so boring today.

Khushi walked out of her room in a show stopping blue sleek dress that ended just above her knees. She had 4 inch blue heels on and long hooped earrings. With minimal make-up and a sexy smirk on, she dressed to kill.

She walked out hardly acknowledging me.

"Going somewhere?" I asked casually.

"Party, won't be home till late, don't wait up for me." She said walking to the kitchen for a glass of water.

*Ring Ring*

"Hello? Anita, where the hell are you man?"

"I'm almost there Arnav and you owe me BIG TIME for this, I have a boyfriend you know!"

"Yeah yeah whatever just get here quickly!" I said hanging up.

Khushi walked out and the bell rang.

"I'll get it!" I said swiftly walking to the door hoping it was Anita.

"Oh, it's you. Come on in!" I said with a sarcastic smile.

The dimwit rolled his eyes.

"Saaam!!! Finally! Let's go or we'll be late!" Said Khushi giving him a big hug.

"Sorry, stuck in traffic!" He said.

"Why does he hate me so much?" I heard him say as he was walking out.

"Don't worry he hates everybody." I heard her reply until their conversation was out of my hearing range.

Uggh! Anita where are you!!!

*Ding Dong*

I opened the door. Now the queen finally decides to arrive.

"Sorry Arnav!"

"Yeah, yeah whatever." I said as I started walking out.

"Wait I have to go to the bathroom." Anita said walking towards the bathroom.

That was when Khushi came back.

"Forgot my purse." She said walking towards the sofa.

"Well, you know, I'm going to the party too." I said trying to make it sound nonchalant.

"With my date." I emphasized checking her face for any signs of jealousy but to my dismay, nothing appeared of that sort on her face.

"Nice to see you've moved on, may I ask who the unfortunate soul is?" She said as she was heading out.

"Her." I said pointing to Anita who was looking for the bathroom.

Khushi suddenly burst into laughter. Her face was all red. She was dying of it until I asked "What's so funny."

"Nothing, Arnav. Nothing at all, well see you at the party with your date!" She said as she walked out of the mansion. You could hear her laugh till she hit the driveway.

What was so funny? I wondered.
