Part 2 Sweet Valentine

Khushi was completely bowled over by Arnav's brazen ways with her. He'd never acted on impulse before other than reacting to anger but to love this was a first. She was swaying around her body here but her mind remained with Arnavji. His lips still left an imprint on hers touching her lips with her fingers glowing in his ...Suddenyly her bubble burst in the foyer coming into contact with the loathsome Shyamji, the detestable man who'd almost ruined her life and was ruining Anjaliji's. He'd left a bitter taste in her mouth just the name made her skin crawl let alone one touch from this poisonous snake. Khushi snatched her arm away from the brute holding her tightly making her groan out in pain.

Khushi glared at him rubbing her arms shouting at him-Let me go!

Shyam pinned Khushi against the wall-Not until U hear me out. I love U with all of my being Khushiji. I need U in my life. Seeing U with another is killing me. I won't let anyone take U away from me. U are my life.

Khushi almost bellowed keeping her voice low pointed her finger at him-U have no right over me. U are Anjaliji's only. I wish i could tell her what a creep she's married but i don't want to ruin anyone elses night. Mine is already ruined. (Harshly exhales her hatred for him) Do me a favour and turn a blind eye or better yet end this farce. This lie with your sweet wife she deserves better than a lowlife like U. Go far away from here then U won't have to see me with another man.

Shyam still holding Khushi firmly now-I can't leave U behind. You're my obsession Khushi. Its too late.

Khushi clearly repulsed by this admission-Then go see a doctor. I'll never be yours. (Pushes him off of her) I suggest U let me go before somebody see's us and your mask slips off.

Shyam could care less still holding her-Let them i'll just tell them U came on to me. Why are U playing hard to get Khushi? U already own me. U also want to own Arnav as a safety huh?

Khushi blasted him with a slap-Don't U dare take his name! He is nothing like U. (He holds her even tighter now, Wriggles from his grip) U have lost it.

Shyam mutters full of desperation in his eyes for Khushi-Where you're involved all logic is gone.

Arnav had heard everything coming down from the roof almost shattered by this revelation. His Jeeju was an a**. His Khushi was sought after by this b*****d. He'd seen her struggling and what she'd said but was this the only truth or was there more? How long had this being going on for? Had Khushi led his Jeeju on? Was this entrapment? Then those tears in her eyes were real. Her anguish in her voice was real. He didn't know what the big picture was but he was going to get this sorted in his own style. He had a good mind to punch his Jeeju's lights out and then confront Khushi and get to the bottom of this mess.

This betrayal he'd endured awas beyond forgivable. But his sister was pregnant so how could he break her heart? Arnav broke up the deadlock between Khushi and Shyam-Is there a problem? (Sounding irritated) Are U ok Khushi?

Shyam lets go of her-Khushi wasn't feeling too good i think its all the excitement of the wedding.

Khushi gave a weak smile then walked away from their roving eyes mumbling under her breath-Freak!

Arnav took his Jeeju to his room and had a pow wow with him with a hothead lashed out at him-I heard everything. Now give it to me straight! What's going on between U two? Why were U manhandling her? Why does she verbally abuse U and U just stood there declaring your love for her when you're supposed to be married to my sister? (Holds him by his Kurta) I don't take it lightly when my sister is being played.

Shyam argues-Khushi came on to me!

Arnav wasn't falling for this c**p sounding peeved off-B***s***! If anything U were coming on to her! What did she mean U almost ruined her life? Khushi isn't anyone's property to want to own her. So are U playing away? Are U cheating on my Di because i'll make your life a living hell if U are?

Shyam grins back-You're sister was just a means to an end. Now i have her where i want i can now have my cake and eat it. Khushi and I are an item. She just want to have it all. Money, U and me. All in one package. Khushi is my lifes only goal. Your sister is nothing to me. I don't love her. I love Khushi and i won't stop until she is all mine. Try and stop me if U can? Or U can risk another close episode with your sister dying perhaps. She's mentally very weak so her death would be on your shoulders.

Arnav pushed this slimeball to the floor wanting to smash his head in but there was a wedding to contend with and a Khushi. Shyam would wait but the truth couldn't. He had to know otherwise this would consume him.

Arnav searched for Khushi everywhere. She was nowhere to be found in the house. He frantically scanned every room until he went out back to find her all alone wiping her tears away. Khushi was too busy trying to control her warring pent up emotions. She didn't want to spoil this night for anyone least of all her sister or Arnavji. She partially wanted him to know the truth and the other to have it under lock and key. He'd called Shyam to meet him out back. He had to make it look like Khushi had planned this to get to the full truth.

Shyam with Khushi now smiling at her-Tonight is your sisters wedding but this could have been ours Khushi.

Khushi gets up resonating in anger-No! It wouldn't have been a wedding but a legally null and void one seeming as U are still married to Anjaliji. How could U bring this up? U fooled my parents into thinking U are a single man. A good hearted man. I got saved from U. If it hadn't been for the Pooja i'd have...made the worst mistake of my life. U are a despicable man. Don't ever dare to touch me. Why are U here?

Shyam gave a sheepish grin-U invited me here. I received a text from U.

Khushi muttered-I lost my phone. Leave me.

Shyam saw Arnav and left Khushi-I'll always come back for U Khushi.

Arnav placed a hand over her shoulder not at all looking like the practical Arnav but a concerned cautious one-Khushi whats going on between U and Shyam? I want the whole truth. Don't sugar coat it ok? How long has he been harassing U? Did he hurt U?

Khushi's arms were still red from where he'd held her-No!!! Theres nothing to say. Don't spoil this night Arnavji. We can discuss it another day.

Arnav resisted wanting an answer-What is this about your wedding and with Jeeju? (His voice was very raspy) What did he do Khushi?

Khushi told Arnav the entire story from beginning to end alarmed by the veins on his temples and his face was filled with anger-He'd blackmailed me into silence and your sister wasn't well, then the wedding of Akashji, its all exploded.

Arnav placed his fingers through his hair in frustration-I'll kill him!!! (Khushi was innocent. Her eyes said it all. He was suspicious of the world even Khushi but he read people well to know when they were genuine. Not to mention he'd seen the proof before his very own eyes) I will make him pay!!!

Khushi felt ashamed burying her head down-I'm so sorry for bringing this on U! I didn't mean to...Now he won't stop...Not until...

Arnav takes Khushi into his arms and promises to make this right somehow-Don't worry about Shyam. I'll take care of him. For now do U trust me?

Khushi nodded-With my life!

Arnav smirked back rubbing her back to console her being dragged into a sea of an emotion he hadn't been familiar too. He wanted to protect Khushi from the world and protect his Di-I still haven't got the kiss i asked for Khushi forget your life.

Khushi blushed scarlet again-I can't!!! Girls aren't meant to do certain things before...

Arnav teased-Before...(He had a light bulb idea) I know how to fix our problem Khushi Kumari Gupta and then you'll have no excuses. The perfect end to a perfect Valentine. A new beginning ok. No more secrets.

Khushi holding Arnav agreed-No more secrets.
