Chapter 38:

Geet ek batao kisne kiya yeh sab aur kyun asked maan with full rage in his eyes.

Geet immediately hugged maan. Maan too hugged her back. Maan thought today its going to be a long day.

Geet broke the hug with anger n disgust in her eyes.

SID told anand n geet at a time. Geet looked into his eyes which reflecting pure anger on that sid.

He heard that this sid did something from maan's dad n karthik too. But dont know exactly. Even though he hate sid from college days due to his behaviour but he cant show it in business n they are 22% share holder of KT.

Here vijaya n pooja are shocked to hear this, they dont know what is happening, but seeing theit daughter broke down in front of them, they are not able to see her in that condition but the truth should come out its needed, today should be the end of all griefs n mysteries.

Maan beta u both go into ur roomtold vijaya maa.

Maan n geet gone to their room. Maan made her sit on the bed n carassed her face lovingly. He cant bear tears in her eyes. But today its all needed, the pain she is suffering from 2 years, the pain of being away from family, the pain of bringing up their child as a single mother. Enough of all these now, she is not alone now, her family mainly her life, her jaan, her maan is with her.

Geet hugged maan n crying her heart out. Maan too hugged her tight n just calming her.

Geet, shona calm down, I am there with u, ab tumko darne ki koi zaroorat nahi hain told maan.

Maa.. maan that sid, u in US told geet in between her hiccups.

Shhh shh drink some water told maan n made her drink.

Geet calmed down n she held maan's hand tight n started.

Maan completed his final year n geet her 1^st year. Next one week all are busy in sudha-yash marriage preparations. Finally their marriage took place n all are very happy. Geet is very sad for 2 reasons. One her di is going to her sasural today n second maan is going to US for higher studies after 2 days.

Sudha went to her sasural, the bidaai was very emotional, geet is not leaving her sister at all. But somehow she composed. The next day, few relatives are there in handa mansion. So geet is feeling so lonely n went to KM. She saw pooja maa is talking with maan.

Maan beta, packing sab kuch hogaya na asked pooja.

Ha mom, hogaya, aap baitiye. Dont take tension mom, I will be fine I will call daily mom. U take care of ur self n ha take care of dad, mama n papa. ok.. told maan.

Pooja smiled n told ok maan. U take food in time, dont neglect them in ur studies. ok..

Sahi kaha maa aapne told geet coming inside.

Maan n pooja saw her n smiled.

Geet came n sat beside pooja n turned to maan n told.

Dekho maan, agar tum humko daily call nahi kiya tho humse bura koi nahi hoga warned geet.

Maan just nodded, even though she is acting brave outside, but she is breaking down each n every minute.

Pooja smiled at them.

Beta tum dono baat karo, I will come now told pooja n left from there.

Maan sat beside geet n held her hand tight. Its very tough for both of them. Living away for 2 years is not that easy for both. Geet rested her head on his shoulders n they r in silent for some time. Suddenly geet asked

They left to maan's room. Almost most of the luggage is packed. Geet opened the wardrobe n saw some clothes are there which should be packed. Geet took out those n neatly packed. She didn't pack few shirts n kept them aside.

Geet pack them also told maan.

Nahi maan I want to keep them with metold geet.

Why??Asked maan.

I can wear them to feel u near me told geet, her voice is choking.

Immediately maan hugged her tight. He is not able to see the pain in her eyes.

Geet don't be sad yaar, I just cant see u like this told maan.

That's it geet lost all her resolutions to be strong in front of him n started crying bitterly.

Maan is not all able to bear his mishty's breakdown like this.

Geet thought that she should be strong n she should be his support but not discourage him.

Sorry maan, main kuch bhi bolne lagi. Agar tum khush ho tho muje aur kuch bhi nahi chahiye. Yeh baat tho sahi hain ki I will miss u these two years. But your dreams n career is important for me. I am happy for u maan told geet n smiled through tears.

Maan wiped her tears n kissed her forehead.

Geet, tumko pareshan hone ki koi zaroorat nahi hain, agar tumko kuch bhi problem ho tho mujhe bata dena samjhi??Asked maan.

Geet nodded in yes.

They both sat in silence in each other embrace listening to their heart beat. This silence is enough for them, words are not necessary for them to express each others feelings.

After some time there was a knock on the door. Maneet came out of their world n opened the door.

Hey bro wished karthik.

Hey chinna, come told maan.

Karthik entered the room n saw geet there.

Hey geet.

Hii chinna, shanti kaha hain asked geet.

Ya she will be coming now told karthik.

Ok..told geet n smiled at him.

Just then shanti too entered maan's room n wished him.

Maan made shanti sit beside geet n he stood beside karthik.

So chinna, these two girls are ur responsibility now. Take care of them for 2 years, I cant see tears in their eyes. Aur ha agar meri behen ko tum tang kiya na tho acha nahi hoga told maan.

Ab aapki behen ko main tang kyun karonga said karthik hugging maan.

Aur apna bhabhi ka bhi khyal rakna, wo har choti baat par pareshan ho jati hain told maan.

Shanti chuckled hearing that, geet made a baby face. They broke the hug n maan looked at his love n his sister.

Shanti hugged maan n told will miss u bhai, come soon.

Maan caressed her hair n told I will come soon dear, don't worry.

They broke the hug n all of them settled on the bed. Shanti-karthik on one side n maan-geet on other side. Geet rested her head on his shoulders. They all talked for some time, enjoying, teasing n pulling each others leg.

After some time vijaya came there.

Am I disturbing u children asked vijaya from the entrance.

Arey nahi maa come told karthik.

Vijaya entered maan's room with a box in her hand.

Maan beta this is for u told vijaya n gave it to maan.

Maan opened the box n found his favorite chocolate mousse. Maan smiled n told thanku maa.

Vijaya took one spoon n fed him. Maan happily ate it.

Vijaya had tears in her eyes, maan hugged n told maa, Plz don't cry. Agar aap sab log itne sad ho tho then I won't go.

Vijaya immediately broke the hug n told nahi maan, tumare khushi se badkar humko kuch nahi chahiye.

All became emotional seeing them. To lighten the situation karthik told mama chocolate mousse bro ke liye hi kya, humko nahi hain? Asked karthik n made a baby face.

All of them laughed seeing him. The whole day all are together n had their dinner in KM. they all are talking with each other. The night passed peacefully but not for maan n geet. They both couldn't sleep the whole night thinking about each other. Some how the night passed. Maan got up early in the morning as his flight is at 7 am.

Maan got ready n came down to see his whole family waiting for him including sudha n yash.

Good morning wished maan.

All of them smiled at him. They all had breakfast together. Today mom n mama prepared all fav dishes of maan. Now its time for maan to leave.

Maan took blessings of all the elders n hugged karthik.

Miss u bro.

Miss u too chinna.

maan n geet didn't talk with each other, they silently entwined their fingers. Maan bid good bye to all n headed to airport. Vijaya n pooja couldn't control their tears, till today they never away from their children n 2 years is very long for them. Somehow they smilingly bid good bye to him.

Maan, geet, karthik, shanti, sudha, yash went to airport. Maan hugged all of them.

He hugged geet n told her not to be sad, he will call her daily.

Geet nodded. Maan boarded the flight wth heavy heart seeing his mishty's tears. All others went home back.

The next day maan reached US n went to his apartment n settled down. He called delhi n informed that he reached safely. He joined his college n became quite popular. He took part in all the events which took place in college. He talked with geet almost every time. Sometimes throught phone or skype call.

Geet use to wear maan's shirt to feel him close. She too studied well. Now she is in 2^nd year n became popular as a topper n other events in college. Geet helped her juniors if they had any problems. At that time Vicky became a good friend of geet. He use to treat her as his sister. Geet introduced Vicky to her family n they liked him. Even maan talked with Vicky few times when geet was sad. Karthik n shanti's relationship grew n they understood each other well. Karthik was there for geet when he needed. He made sure that both ladies in his life are happy. All the things are going well for 1 year. Geet completed her 2^nd year n maan his 1^st year of masters. They both are happy.

But they don't know what strom is coming to them soon. Now maan is 2^nd year of masters n geet in 3^rd year of engineering.

2 days after its vijaya-anand wedding anniversary, so geet is planning a surprise for them in KM. even karthik, Vicky n shanty too helped her in arrangements. Finally the D-DAY has arrived, geet is very happy wishing her parents n all. But it became a worst day in her life.
