Mr. Khurana n Mr. Kashyap hugged each other.
Mr.Khurana- Baat toh pehle humare man thi but now its official. So engagement next week. Bhabhi ji kuch meetha nai khiyangi?
Mr.Kashyap (Shreya's dad)- Haan haan Deepa kuch meeth lao.
Deepa (Shreya's mom)- Ji abhi lai...
She said n walked to kitchen with Kiya's mom to bring sweets for everyone.
Mr. Khurana was at Kiya's home. He had came to meet Mr. n Mrs.Kashyap to officially ask for Shreya's hand for Maan n fix the date of engagement. Infact Mr.Khurana n Shreya's family had came to New York for their engagement only as Maan was here n moreover they did'nt wanted the press back in India to know about the association until the wedding.
If dadimaa would have known that Mr.Khurana was planning to engage Maan n Kiya then she would have never agreed for it as through Beeji she knew Maan seriously liked Geet. But Mr.Khurana did'nt felt the need to consult Dadimaa. She knew Shreya n he thought she would'nt have any objection. He decided to give her surprise when they would reach Delhi for Shreya n Maan's marriage.
Mr.Khurana did'nt asked Maan either because according to him it was parents job to find the right partner for their children n Shreya was right for Maan.
Here Shreya who was listening to the elder's conversation ran to her room. She kept her hand on heart to gain some control over the ragged heart beat. She had always liked Maan. Who would'nt?? He was funny, understanding, smart n incredibly handsome.
Shreya Khurana. She spoke softly n a shy smile came on her face.
Meanwhile Kiya entered her room. Congratulations Sis... She said with a foxy grin.
Geet-Maan had'nt announced their relationship but everyone knew they were together n thats what irked Kiya. She could never stand her biggest enemy happiness, Geet's happiness. But now was the time for sweet revenge.
Thanks... Shreya said failing to notice the evil glint in Kiya's eyes.
Now that you are getting engaged to Maan its my duty to warn you. Kiya said trying to sound as considerate as possible while Shreya knotted her brows. I mean you must be knowing Geet rite??
Yeh I know her. She is Maan's good friend n really nice person. Shreya said.
Nice person... I doubt n good friend well I doubt that too. She does'nt seem to get satisfied only with the 'Good Friend' title.
Kiya I am not understanding what you are saying... Shreya asked confused.
I mean Geet is interested in Maan from the time he joined college. She is nothing but a cheap s**t. Maan is rich n college hunk so she hell bent to woo him since long. Though Maan had made clear that he regard her as a friend but he is also a guy n it does'nt look that Geet is ready to give up... So beware!
But she does'nt look... I mean she appeared to be good at heart. Shreya said shocked with the knowledge supplied by Kiya.
Oh! Thats the art she masters, making fool of others but I know her true self... By the way I told everything I knew because you are my sister n I love you. To believe me or not is your pick. Kiya smirked n left Shreya entangled in thoughts.
