It was finally the wedding day; the 10^th of the month. The last two days Arnav had tried his best to get Khushi alone during the mehendi and sangeet ceremonies but he wasn't even spared a few seconds of time alone with his to be wife. But Khushi had started looking much happier and livelier from the last two days. Last night at the sangeet Arnav had only seen Khushi smiling and even laughing throughout the function. NK and La had performed a short play on Arnav and Khushi after marriage which was undoubtedly hilarious and Akaash and Payal's duet performance on 'didi tera dewar deewana' had left everyone with sweet smiles on their faces. Today they were getting married and Arnav now had calmed down and decided to talk to Khushi at night once she was home as his wife. Any which ways, he didn't have any other option.

Arnav got ready wearing his sherwani as he knew that Anjali would be at his door any minute and would start shouting at him for not getting ready on time when he knows that there's so much to be done. He hated it but well he had no choice but to wear it.

This is what Arnav wears on his wedding day:

Anjali: Chhote, that's our family tradition and you have to follow it. Arnav looked away annoyed. Common we have to start with the 'sehra bandhi' ritual and everyone's waiting for you in the Hall so be quick.

As Anjali got Arnav down in the hall, the hall was filled with family members and relatives waiting eagerly for the groom. The Raizaada mansion was decorated with flowers and lights. And diyas and candles were lighted at different places. Arnav was made to sit on a sofa and Anjali along with Nani and Mami started with the sehra bandhi ritual.

Lavanya wearing a red color suite looked tradition and cute. She stood next to NK who was busy taking snaps on his camera. Even after Arnav had showed his discomfort about NK's activity saying that there were professional camera men who were there to shoot the wedding ceremonies, NK had insisted upon shooting a personalized version of it. When NK noticed Arnav giving him evil looks he immediately turned to Lavanya who happily kept posing for him making Arnav smile at his friends' antics.

Amidst the hustle bustle of the house where a wedding was to take place in few hours from now, there stood a man completely annoyed and angry with what was going around him. He couldn't believe it. In the past one week he had tried his best to stop this wedding to take place. He had manipulated Arnav's mind about Khushi, said negative things to buaji about the wedding taking place in too much of hurry to which she had eaten Shashi's head for the past three days and he had even made sure Arnav doesn't get any time alone with Khushi in any of the ceremonies. But still what surprised Shyam Gupta was that Arnav hadn't refused to the marriage. He had known Arnav since school and knew that he would never give in to love. In fact he knew that Arnav wanted to marry a girl who herself didn't believe in love, then why the hell wasn't he saying no? He stood there frustrated with his unsuccessful attempts and also unable to understand what exactly was going in his friend's mind when he felt a hand on his shoulder.

Shashi: Shyam?

Shyam: yes dad?

Shashi: have you made sure all the guests staying at Taj hotel are at ease? Please make sure all their needs are taken care off.

Shyam: Yes Dad, I have already spoken to the manager once in the morning. He said annoyed.

Shashi: Hmm. But I want you to personally go once to the hotel and see that everyone is comfortable.

Shyam: What's the need dad? Why are you doing so much for this wedding?

Shashi: Stop it Shyam. It's your sister's wedding. Behave like how you are expected to.

Shyam: step sister. He corrected giving Shashi a look.

Shashi: I don't want to hear you referring to her in that way ever again. Now go to the hotel and do what I have asked you to. And I want you back here in an hour. He left to attend the guests saying this.

Shyam turned around extremely irritated with the amount of importance that Khushi and her wedding was getting in the Gupta residence. He was walking towards the main door when he saw Khushi coming out of her room. He gave her a dirty disgusting look and walked away.

Khushi: Mom, my wedding dress?

Garima: Your wedding dress? It came this morning from the Raizaada House, she said trying to remember. Oh yes! Payal has it in her room. I'll just ask her to get it for you. You wait for her there. She'll be with you five minutes.

Khushi: okay!

Garima went to Payal's room where she was getting ready. Payal wore a green lehenga with a blue choli. Her hair tied in a beautiful bun.

Payal: yes Aunty?

Garima: Do you have Khushi's shaadi ka joda (wedding dress)?

Payal: Yes Aunty it's right here.

Garima: Could you just go to her room and give it to her. Also help her in getting ready. I'll send the ladies from the beauty parlor to help you both.

Payal: Sure Aunty!

Payal went to Khushi's room and knocked the door. On getting no response she slowly opened the door and called for her.

Payal: Khushi?

Still there was no response. Payal went in and checked the bathroom too. But she was left shocked when she didn't find Khushi there too! Where was Khushi???
