Lean fingers ran through immaculately groomed hair as, the lithe body, toned from once spending years in places most sophisticated Manhattanites pretended didn't exist, Damien walked into his pent house, the sound of his leather shoes harsh against the hard wooden panels that inlay the of the elegant bachelor pad.

This constant charade of nonchalance was grating on him. And bloody hell seeing her with her fiance, had gotten to him more than he let on.

Much more.

Mentally steeling himself for a night of drunken stupor as he rehashed the wonderful 'conversation' he'd indulged in, Damien Bass completely failed to notice the odd smell wafting around him.
