" Chote! get up- its almost 8" Anjali, Arnav's sister tried to wake him up, pulling the covers and opening the window.

" Arre di! 5 more minuets please" he mumbled digging his face deeper into the warmth of the blanket. Anjali giggled looking at the way Arnav always manages to get a smile on her face in the morning by letting the child in him over take his cold self he portrays to the world. Anjali sat beside him and ruffled his hair in a motherly way remembering the past that had been.

She misses her Chote-her little brother, his innocence, his pranks, his boyish laugh, his "I am up to no good" smirk

Arnav Singh Raizada, a 27 year old business tycoon, one of India's most eligible bachelor, cold, angry and ruthless. Smile is a luxury he can't afford and trust, love and marriage dint exist in his dictionary. His sister, Anjali is the only person whom he loves and who can keep him sane and make him do things, which other wise are next to unthinkable.

"I am sorry di, I could not make it for dinner yesterday! I tried a lot to get the work done but the stupid people are so inefficient and then the car gave me trouble and Aman did not pick his call ..." he started explained to his sister. It was one of the rare moments of the day, she just wish she could freeze the time. Her brother was apologizing and explaining to her, the way a child would explain his mom how he accidental broke the vase.

"Its OK Chote I will think of a punishment later, now get ready fast and come down for breakfast. Don't get late and start scolding Hari prakash or Aman for your delay!" She said as she walked out.

" Di! I will be a little late today, have a meeting with clients about the project" He said his sister, having his breakfast with his family - his sister, Nani,mama-mami and his Brother Akash. Nani always insists that the entire family has atleast one meal together.

They ate and spoke about their plans for the day and Arnav read the newspaper in silence and thought - Just another day! same pace, same world, same life- when will this ever end ? He shook his head and as they finished and left to office with his brother.

AR was one of the leading brands in clothing line which was establish and nurtured by Arnav. It was started, when he was hardly 20 years and in less that 7 years he has made it one of the top class designer brand in India and abroad. His core team consisting of his brother Akash as the material expert, His Mama- Mr Manohar as Director and adviser and his assistant Aman.

"Jiji, buaji ! I am leaving - wish me luck!" she yelled as she left for her interview for the post of assistant designer at a "big company" suggested to her by her buaji's neighbor.

"Arre titaliya! take an auto and go! don't roam here and there, after finishing come back home safely, don't eat out side food, don't talk to strangers ... "

"buaji! I am going for a job interview not admission in school! I will come back safe" she said to her bua and left

"This bua ji also na! I should not eat out side food? Then how will those people survive? .. " she made her way to the office talking to her self about how lucky people who make street would would be, to have unlimited food at their dispose and can eat it all day and night.

"Devi mayyi! Such a beautiful and big building!" she thought as she stared at the place in awe, which she was about to enter. "AR Group" It read outside. She went near the security guard and asked him about the person she was suppose to meet and he directed her as to where to go.

"Excuse me! are you Lavanyaji?" She asked the person in front of her who was typing something in the phone.
"Yes! what do you want? be quick I don't have all day" She snapped back.
"Arre! don't worry! even I don't have all day - I came for the interview for assistant designer post , Mr. Shyam, my buaji's neighbor sent me here and asked me to talk to you." Khushi said

"YOU are that person?" She scoffed looking at her from top to bottom! " What you wearing is probably something you made on your own, too cheap to be stated, too bright to not notice and class less and YOU want to work for AR? Clothes make 1st impression and I already don't like you"

"You know the way you talk vaguely resembles the person I met yesterday night! I helped him change the tire- n-na-Nanav? varnav? something was his name!" Khushi continued " and Lavanyaji , you don't have to like me - you just have to like my work and my clothes- the fact that I made them should make you believe that I design and you noticed them 1st before even looking at my face states that they did catch your attention. You could say I made them so you know the difference between machine made and hand made clothes. That makes you a really good designer,no wonder you work for AR and it will be my privilege working under you. So will you see the portfolio of my designs? " She said winking at Lavanya!

Lavanya was taken aback. Probably this is the 1st time someone acknowledged she is a good designer without looking at her history or the place she works. She acted nonchalant and flipped the pages -Portfolio looked good too. She was officially impressed but she dint want to make it look obvious.

"Look you extra glittering girl-" "khushi my name is" "khushi? Ill call you chamkili - huh!- you talk too much! If you want to work here you have to be punctual and disciplined and work oriented. ASR hates people who talk too much for no reason or smile like idiots or are lazy and not fit for work environment and the day he yells at you- consider that you lost your job ... "

"who is ASR?" Khushi cut her in the middle

"ASR the chairman of the company - your boss, my boss - duniya ka boss- she mumbled under her breath- and don't you dare cut me the next time else I will only kick you out" she said. Khushi just grinned and hugged Lavanya "And don't you dare enter my personal space- you got the job doesn't mean you forget who you are and go sit in that cabin when ASR comes, we will meet him to see where he will assign you" She added

Khushi just ignored the comment and sat in her work place and placed her Devi mayya moorti on the take said a small prayer to help her and filled in the form given to her.

"Bhai I will finalize the materials for the new line once I get the designs" Akash said as they made their way into the office.

"Ya you will get the designs in a month - Lavanya said she was appointing someone for that today, so you three can decide on that - I will check on that person and you all can start the foundation work today" Arnav replied and made his way to his cabin,

"Lavanya I want you and your new assistant in my cabin NOW" He said through the intercom in cold voice

"Chamkili! come with me, we have to meet ASR " she called Khushi. They left and as they entered the cabin Khushi made a small prayed "bless and protect me devi mayya, this will be my 1st assignment, woh ASR should be so impressed that he should give me 2 kg jalebi as bonus, I will give you 3 jaliebi from that as prasad " She chuckled to herself as they entered.

"ASR, this is Khushi, my new assistant designer and this is her portfolio" she said handing him over the file.

"Khushi?" He thought and lifted his head to meet an a familiar face who 1st was astonished and then flashed a 100w smile as soon as she recognized him.
