Geet got up as they finished there meal and was getting ready to leave. It was almost 8 and Maan had a few things to sort out. Maan and Mohinder had a few words as Geet hugged Rano as they got ready to leave her maternal house. Maan stood there smiling as he took blessings from the elders. Geet eyes were moist as she gave her mother a hug. She knew they were leaving the country and had no idea if Maan will let her see them again.

'Mum, Dad we will see you next week probably before your flight.' Maan said as he hugged Rano. Rano smiled back and Maan whispered in her ears. Geet looked at him in hope of seeing her parents again. Internally, she felt happy but will there be any cost?

'Thank you ma' He smirked at her. Rano smiled and nodded her head.

Maan held Geet's hand as he led her to the car. Geet was still thinking about the letters and how much Maan loved her. If he loved her this much why didn't he ever tell her? Why was it all kept quiet. And if the cause of her going far from him caused him to be possessive of her. She looked at him as they drove the car into the highway going towards home. He looked at her and smirked knowing how easy his Rano ma has made it. He only had one thing to deal with which was Dev.

'Stop the car' Geet said out of the blue coming out of her thoughts. Maan looked at her with question raised in his eyes. He is not going to be ordered.

'Please' She pleaded with her eyes. Maan stopped the car. Geet got out and walked slowly towards the gudwara that she saw. Maan followed her with his eyes as he walked out of the car. Geet took her shoes off covered her head and walked up the steps to the gudwara and held her hands together. Maan was close after her standing there at the entrance as Geet walked infront and knelt down and sat up.

'Babaji, what is this? What kind of dilemma have you put me in. In my heart and my past clearly shows that I Love Dev. Dev loved me too. He lied to make me love him, but I think his heart was clear. But then now I'm married to Maan. He has known me my whole life. I don't understand him. Mum says he loves me. He always has loved me. But I never knew. Why is this so hard? He is a monster at time and sometimes I don't know who he is? From childhood to teenage years and till today, he has been obsessive and controlling what I do. Is this love? He wants me to love him? How? I know he loves me a lot? But I'm scared of his possessive nature. What do I do babaji? I want to run away and start my life all over again. But Mum made me promise to give Maan a chance. I know he loves me. But I can't love him. I don't know how to love a man I'm frightened off? Babaji where is my future' Geet said in her mind.

'Beta' A person walked up to her and tapped her shoulder. It was an old lady. She gave her a flower rose petal. Geet looked at her with question.

'Beta, from your face I understand you are in a dilemma. So face your dilemma and and flow this petal. Wherever this petal goes to is your answer' The lady said. Geet took the petal and looked up to ask her something when she realised there was no one there. She looked at the portrait of babaji and thought what if it is his doing? She closed her eyes and her dilemma was whether to leave and run away or give Maan a chance? She blew it and opened her eyes and saw Maan walking in towards her.

Maan stood outside waiting for his wife. This is one thing he can't do is wait for others. People walk according to his time not the other way round. He looked at the time and saw it had been 5 minutes and walked inside. Geet saw Maan approach her and saw the petal on his shoulder and was shocked. She turned to look at babaji and wondered how can she give Maan a chance? He scares her. Her heart is frightened of him. Maan grabbed her by the shoulder and lifted her up. He was angry at her.

'I've been lenient with you today Geet. I let you meet your parents and allowing you to meet them again next week but don't take my leniency as a joke' He said gritting his teeth at her as he dragged her out. He held his fingers tight into her waist as he walked out. Geet eyes shone with tears as the pain hurt her. How was she meant to love him? How when he hurts her and is controlling.

'Maan please your hurting me' Geet cried out when she couldn't take the pain of his fingers no more. Maan looked at her with anger and lifted her up

'Geet, you told me to stop the car. I did. I allowed you to come to the gudwara from your own free will. I gave you freewill today Geet. Don't think I don't understand what you want' Maan said as he buckled her into the seat.

'Maan I..' Geet started.

'You were planning to run away weren't you? Again that's why you told me to stop the car and was waiting to run from the other door weren't you?' He growled at her. Geet just looked at him shocked. Was he really that paranoid? Maan sat in the car and locked it and started driving towards home

'No your misunderstanding me' Geet said with tears in her eyes. 'I just wanted to ask babaji where my future lies' Geet said trembling. Maan looked at her and stopped the car and leaned towards her. Geet looked at him as she saw fury anger authority in his eyes. He grabbed her head and pulled her foreheard towards him. His dark eyes bore into hers and Geet shocked light hazel eyes with fear looked into him. He held her by the back of her neck tight towards him tight.

'Why do you need to ask haan Geet? You know your future lies with me' Maan said in a low tone but meaningfull. All Geet could do was to nod silently. 'And I'm sure your babaji agrees too' Geet looked at the petal which she had picked up when it had dropped off him when she retrived her shoes from the gudwara.

'I know' Geet said. Maan smirked at her and went back to his driving seat.

Meanwhile as soon as Geet and Maan left Mohinder grabbed Rano into the living room and glared at her. Rano looked at him with a question in her eyes.

'What were you trying to do?' Mohinder said looking at her. Rano was puzzled and put her hand on his shoulder and smiled and asked

'What do you mean?'

'You know exactly what I mean!' Mohinder turned around and shouted at her in anger. Rano looked at him as she became serious too wiping the smile off her face.

'So what else should I do? Haan? Let Maan suffer? Let Geet…'

'Geet was fine. She was happy. She was getting engaged to Dev and married to him. She didn't even know about Maan and what were you doing showing her those letters' Mohinder said.

'So don't worry I didn't show her those other letters or photos don't worry' Rano said.

Mohinder slapped her. Rano looked at him shocked.

'You know if anything happens to Geet then we could lose her forever Rano' Mohinder yelled at her.

'So what should we let Maan suffer? Huh. I decided this and this is what will happen' Rano yelled back.

'RANO'

'Mohinder, you know very well the truth that I promised Savitri that Maan will get whatever he wants. He desired for Geet and Geet he now has.'

'Rano..I always knew that you didn't love Geet as a mother should but today proved it'

'Geet this Geet that. Oh come off it Mohinder. Siya is our daughter. You never gave a damn about her. Geet marriage Geet education. Geet your first wives daughter'

'RANO' Mohinder got angry and slapped her. Rano looked at him in anger.

'Listen Mr Mohinder Handa, I gave Geet a mothers love. I accepted hers and Dev's relation. Even though you and I both knew the truth'

'Mohinder I love Geet as a daughter. I am not stone hearted. I didn't show her the letters notes nor photos when Maan and her were in love. I remember everything what the Doctor said. If she is reminded of her amnesia we could lose her forever. The last thing she remembered was being in love with Dev and then you know what happened. She realised she loved Maan and then the accident and then she lost years of her life. Her 19^th 20^{th 21st} birthdays she forgot. She forgot Maan's love'

'I know Rano. But what could we do? She didn't remember her love for Maan and we couldn't force her to remember otherwise we would lose her forever. The doctor said she could have brain haemorrhage or go mad'

'That's why Maan loves her so much. He needs her and was by her side and tried to stay away. But you know how much he loved her before the accident. She loved him and he was possessive towards her. How on her 19^th birthday they got engaged and then that accident'

'I know Rano. But those letters, if you had showed her then.. and Dev..what happened to him?'

'Oh Maan offered him so much money that he ran away. Sorry Mr Handa, but Geet is not marrying Dev'

'So all that what happened in the wedding was your and Maan plan' Mohinder' asked.

'Yes. Maan should get his love and he will make Geet fall in love with him again. And Dev loved her and she loved Dev but he ran away from money didn't he?'

'I just hope nothing happens to Geet. I hope Rano you and Maan know what your doing and if I lose my daughter'

'Look Mohinder, Geet is with Maan so forget her and lets help Siya now'

Rano walked off as Mohinder looked wary of the situation. He knew that Dev and Geet loved eachother but Geet realised she loved Maan and both were to be married when the accident occurred and the last thing she remembered was Dev and her love confession. The doctor said not to remind her of anything otherwise she could die or go mad. Maan got married to her. This whole plan and he was kept in the dark. He heard Rano talking to Maan and realised something was wrong and got her to confess what happened in the wedding. But Mohinder knew Maan loved Geet to the height of madness and will never let anything happen to Geet. Mohinder got changed and went to bed just hoping Geet memory if it does return returns without any problems. Or Geet is always happy.

Maan led Geet into the house and into the bedroom. Geet looked at him as Maan did not speak a word to her.

'Geet go to the washroom now as you won't be able to go for an hour' Geet looked at him confused. HE led her to the washroom and smirked as Geet went inside. She washed her face and changed into her nightdress and went to the toilet. She exited when He grabbed her arms and held them behind her back

'Maan why? I'm not going anywhere' Geet said confused and scared. He smirked at her and kissed her ear slightly nibbling it. Geet heart started to beat fast in fear.

'off course your not love. But can't take any chances now can we ?' He smirked as he tied her to the bannister of the bed.

'Geet love I'll be back soon. Probably in an hour. I've locked the room and don't sleep. We will make love when we are back'

'But Maan please untie me. I mean your locking the room and the door as well. And I promise I won't leave. Just please.' Maan walked to her and kissed her forehead. Geet looked at him and shivered.

'That's what you said last time Geet' He said as he walked to the door.

'But.. '

'an hour Geet' He smirked. He walked to the car and sat inside and thought to himself taking the picture out of him and Geet hugging eachother. His arm around her as they took that picture the day before the engagement. Both of them were so happy. He kissed the photo.

'You said that last time Geet you won't leave. But you left the house and then the accident occurred and the part of you left me. But not now. Dev treid to take you away. But He can't.'

Maan drove and remembered all the fun times with Geet he had. The love they shared until the accident 8 months back which changed his lives.

Maan met Dev at a cottage and grabbed him.

'How dare you try to call Geet. Didn't you have enough money?' Maan growled. Dev smirked and smiled at him.

'Geet is priceless Maan. I think a few more crores will doo.' He smirked. 'oh and Geet still loves me and she forgotten you. Don't think she will ever remember' He laughed. Maan punched Dev and smirked 'she will love me. I will force her to love me whether she remembers or not. But for you' Maan moved aside as two guys grabbed him.

'Maan what are you doing?' Dev screamed.

'First class headlines. Your poor parents received a letter from you and look at tomorrows headlines. Dev Singhnia, dead found in a house full of illegal drugs. Books and files show him as an underground drug lord. Oh your poor parents will die of shame'

'Maan' Dev struggled. The other men shot him with injection of drugs in him

' and 100ml is enough to kill you just how you tried to kill me and caused Geet to lose her memory.. I knew everything Dev..how you used her...'

'Maan' Dev said.

Maan smirked and smiled at him 'there no way Geet will come to you and now goodbye..Geet is mine and will always be ' He smirked as he left for the mansion.

Geet at home was scared. It was really dark and she was bedbound. She was scared of the dark and the lights were faraway from her. She was really scared. She felt like things were moving around her. The wind and curtains were scaring her.

'MAAAN' She screamed. Maan had just entered the mansion and heard Geet scream. He got worried and ran into the room and saw it was all dark. He felt like beating himself up when he knew Geet was afraid of the dark. He saw Geet trembling and sweating. 'Maan' She said to herself 'where are you' Maan walked towards her when Geet saw a silloute of a man towards her at the door. She screamed.

'Go away.. go away… Maaan where are you?... leave me' She screamed. Maan switched the light on and Geet was crying as she saw Maan.

'Geet' Maan saw her trembling scared and sweating. He untied her hands and hugged her as she hugged him back.

'Maan where were you I was so scared. You know that I'm scared of the dark. Why didn't you leave the light on. What kind of punishment is this Maan?' She cried. Maan caressed her back as she cried. Somewhere somehow, Maan was changing back into the Maan he was when Geet loved him.
