Fourth Part: Revelation Time

Arnav and Khushi, despite being miserable far from each other, have tried to avoid each other .

Khushi has kept coming to RM to help Nani and Anjali for PayAsh wedding. They have bumped into each other several times, have had their moments of eyelocks n Rabba Ve too but they have kept drifting apart especially Khushi who kept remembering that a ghost named Shyam is still haunting her and to keep this family who has a special place in his heart happy, she'll have to play along with that cheap guy.

Anjali is really very worried for her lil bro but Nani keeps saying that everything will turn out well so hopefully it will!!

There's only one week for PayAsh wedding. Khushi is in RM since the ladies need to go shopping but once she enters she could feel something is wrong. Anjali n Nani are there very upset and some minutes later it is her turn to get the shock of her life. She learns from Anjali that Arnav is going to London today n he won't b there for PayAsh wedding. He has been very explicit. An urgent matter has cropped up n he doesn't know when he'll come back and' apparently he has just gone out,... to the lawyer, to prepare everything for Aakash to handle here.

A disoriented Khushi tries to comfort them but in vain coz she herself was fighting her own battle inside. As soon as the duo disperses, a confused n lonely Khushi finds, despite herself, her steps leading her to the only room of this mansion where she has always felt cornered, in danger, vulnerable but at the same time so safe and '

She knows he is not here. So she moves around, touches his belongings and moves to his plants at the pool side, remembering all their moments there ' the first time they prevented each other from falling in the pool, the day he removed a particle of soil in her eyes, the day she got entangled in the lights n how he helped her with his eyes never leaving her, the divali night'

Finally dazed, she crumbles in the armchair among the plants and cries her heart out covering her face in an attempt to choke back the sobs.

The whispering of her name makes her lifts up her face to stare at the deepest brownest eyes who always manage to create havoc to her senses n heart. Khushi' her name has never sounded as beautiful as it sounds through his lips'

He is here, kneeling in front of her, scrutinizing her perfect face, his eyes loaded with love? 'n after seconds which seem like ages , he hands her his handkerchief and says:

- U really look upset for someone who doesn't care

She looks at him confusedly and then realizes what he is referring to ' their "koi faraq nahin parta" funda of course!!

Once upset our dear khushi turns chatter box so she immediately starts blabbering:

- I need to talk to u. U cant do this!! I mean how can you leave like this? I mean it's ur brother's wedding n ur family needs u, how can you be so selfish?, Anjali Ji, Nani, ...

He cuts her by adding: N u!!

He had said it so calmly n lovingly; still drinking in her face like he always does n her heart skips a beat!! She stares back, her eyes a pool of tears, unable to say anything further'n then finally he says

- Come here u fool before u start ur nonsense n I turn angry.

Before she realizes what is happening to her,he pulled her tightly in his arms . She has never felt so safe before. She can no longer play this game. She badly needs him, he has turned her support system without her realizing it. Yes!! her support system, every time she has been upset, she has found him around her in his own special way... and she loves him... she closes her eyes and sighs...

She was actually on the verge of getting a heart attack when she learnt about him going away. She was ready to lose him but she knew he would be around but going away... May b she isn't that strong... But who cares!! She can be selfish once in a life time, it is not a crime, is it?

Devi Mayya will surely help us out, she reassured herself. He cares, he really does, I can feel it'He wont let me down...

They hug for ages as if it was the first and last time they are getting this opportunity. She eventually sighs, rubs her nose on his shirt n Arnav exclaims: What the' this is not ur duppata Khushi.

She lifts up her chin to look at him, ignores his lil gussa which seems to be always dancing on his long nose, moves some inches away from him and asks with concern :

- R u really going away?

- I'm not going anywhere without you Khushi Kumari Gupta!!

She smiles in between two sobs. Talking to herself - God what is happening to me, I am turning Nirupa Roy now, crying at the drop of a hat'

- Huh, what u say?

She shakes her head n he rolls his eyes but again draws her closer and cups her face and whispers: I am here, do u trust me Khushi?

She nods. Time to tell him about his jija!!
