Ye Kaisi Mohabbat hai

"Mayank can I ask you something?" she asked looking into his eyes and Mayank just nodded his head in approval.

"tum ne shaadi kyun nahi ki?"

Mayank taken aback at her sudden question and moved his eye balls in other side in nervousness while Nupur was keenly noticing his sudden changing expressions which were proving that he was hiding something from her'.

"Nupur ye kaisa question hai?" controlling his raising heart beat Mayank asked in a bit sharp tone avoiding her gaze.

"Mayank I did not ask any weird or complicated thing, I just ask a simple question?"she again asked politely and Mayank looked up at her whose eyes were showing concern he knew she did care for him but he still wanted something more in her eyes for him though he knew it was not possible but still he could not stop his heart to dreaming..

"I am very much happy in my life"he replied in bit soft tone controlling his emotions as infront of her it was getting difficult to hide his love for her and he did not want to show her his feelings as she always had considered him her best friend 'just friend' nothing more and he was happy with it'.

"Its not answer of my question"

She straight looked into his eyes trying to find what was exactly in his heart but again Mayank avoid looking into her eyes.

She placed her hand on his hand he looked up at her

"I want your happiness Mayank,I know you do care for others ,for me but you need someone in your life who care for you, who give love to you which you deserves'"she cut short by his words .

"I need you''.."His tongue slipped and Nupur looked at him shockingly while her heart skipped a bit as his words registered in her mind, on the other hand Mayank was too in shocked to say those words, he did not know how those words came out from his mouth, it was the first time when he said her something which his heart wanted him to say'

"I mean I need you as I missed you a lot and now I am happy to get you back"he gulped down his lump before trying to cover up things with nervous smile and Nupur recollected herself but she could feel truth in those words which he just said to her few minutes ago and now when Mayank was trying to clarified his statement she was not at all satisfied at his words.

The strange silence and awkwardness prevailing between them and it was the first time they were both feeling short of words to continue their conversation, she did not know but whatever Mayank said to her few minutes ago it had increased her heart beat and her heart wanted to believe on those words, she stole glance at Mayank who was looking very nervous he never behaved like this before or it was she who was first time noticing his expressions and wanted to know what was in his heart..

"Why did he say those words?what is in his heart?Has Mayank something in his heart for M...'"she stopped her mind to think further and gulped down her lump trying to shrugged off those thoughts from her mind..

"Nupur how can you think like this, its not like this'."she tried to console herself avoiding those weird thoughts..

She looked at his embarrassed and nervous face and decided to close this topic here as she did not want to disturb him or interfere in his life if he did not want to share.

"I am feeling sleepy so I think i should go now, you too should take rest" she got up taking tray and mugs in her hand showing him weak smile and Mayank too smiled weakly looking at her,

"Good Night"

Showing him again smile in response she went out the room lost in her thoughts as Mayank's words again and again ringing in her mind raising her heart beat and she was unable to understand anything while Mayank scolded himself for saying those words, showing her those feeling whom he was hiding for so long, so he decided he will keep his feeling aside and will never try to show her'..

The next day,Mayank went for Office early in the morning while Nupur's day went to pampered Diya though most of the time Diya was with Shilpa and she cooked food for them and enjoyed to see them playing and chatting. She was happy to see Diya happy and get mingled with Shilpa but the entire day her thoughts again and again went towards Mayank and his words again and again distracting her thoughts, The whole Mayank did not call her or in home,.she was worried for him but she stopped herself for calling him as she was considering herself guilty for asking him about 'his personal life and decisions'.

She wanted to shrugged off those weird thoughts from her mind but still her heart was saying her something which she even did not want to think..

"If he has something in his heart for me'"she gulped down her lump and paused before thinking further, "he must told me"

The entire day she was consoling herself thinking again and again those lines which were getting restless'

"Maa,Nupur aur Diya jaldi se ready ho jaen,hum bahir ja rahe hain"As Mayank entered in house he declared and both three ladies gave him confused look..

"Mayank where are we going?"Nupur asked him,Mayank went up to them and picked up Diyain his arms.

"We are going for outing"he told them giving peck to Dia on her cheek

"yipeee"And Diya shouted in excitement and Nupur and Shilpa smiled to see her excitement while Mayank gave her another peck on her cheek lovingly..

"Nupur go and get reay.."he looked towards "per pehle dinner toh ker'."she cut short by Mayank. "Dinner bhi hum bahir hi karain ge'kyun Diya?"he asked looking at Diya and she replied in excitement giving approval him.. "yes..mama Mayank uncle bilkul theek keh rahe hain"

Mayank smiled at her innocent act and taking side of him and Nupur could not do anything except agreeing with them..Nupur took Diya and went to her room to get ready while Shilpa declared that she could not go with them as she has pain in her leg and she wanted to rest'.
