Lavanya came out of the kitchen and saw Arnav kneeling infront of Khushi on the sofa putting a band-aid on her. He was so gentle and careful not to hurt her wound again.

Lavanya slowly knelt beside Arnav and lifted her head to Khushi with an apologetical look "Khushi' I'm so so sorry. It happened accidentally!!"

Before Khushi could say anything Arnav interrupted

"You better be sorry Lavanya otherwise I'll'" he struggled to control himself and just gulped down the hateful words he was about to say.

What was I thinking? Lavanya is my fiance! Even if i don't love her I shouldn't be too harsh to her. And why was I being so overprotective of Khushi suddenly?? NO NO NO I just decided some moments ago that I wouldn't care for her anymore.

Khushi looked shocked at Arnav and turned to Lavanya.

"It's ok Lavanyaji. It's not hurting anymore and besides it was just a small wound. Don't worry and please please don't feel guilty"

she said with a smile.

"Ohh thank u Chamkili. I was so worried that you'd be mad at me. Once again sorry!!" she said while holding her ears.

"Khushi are you really ok or should i take you to the doctor? The wound is really very deep and i don't want it to get infected"

"No Arnavji. I'm completely fine."

"OK" he said in an ASR tone and stood up to go to his room

Lavanya followed him.

She opened the door and saw Arnav watching the stars.

"ASR??" she said with a soft voice.

"Lavanya please leave me alone"

"No Asr u have to listen to me now!"

He turned around and went to sit on the couch.

"Uff!! tell me. what is it??" he said with a harsh voice.

La's testing drama started again ;)

"Nothing important ASR. I just felt too overwhelmed with the words you said downstairs. Do you really love me so much ASR?"

"Lavanya just stop your blabbering please. Don't irritate me go now!!"

Lavanya took a deep breath

"I understand... So all the words that came from your mouth were not for me. Who then ASR??" she said with a sad tone.

"They weren't for anyone Lavanya. It was just about'" he paused and didn't want to say the word.

"About what??"

"Those words were about love!!"

"Oh I see...!! But since when have you started to understand and feel so much about love ASR? You have changed. Admit it!! "

"What??! "

"Admit it!! You have changed because of me and my love"

"No Lavanya. I haven't changed because of you"

"No. You have changed. THE ASR would've never ever talked those things about love. You can't deny that you have changed. But who changed u so drastically ASR?? "

"Lavanya just stop this crap!!"

Lavanya not at all reacting to him started talking again and pretended to be in deep thoughts "Ok so u couldn't have changed because of Di, Nani or Akash because u have known them all ur life and if they were capable to change you they would've done it long ago. And you yourself said that I was not the person responsible for you change' So?? "

She looked at him and started with a dead serious tone

"Who is the person ASR that changed you in so many different ways?"

"What shit r u talking about just'"

"No no!! hold on for a second. I think I can help u who the person is."

She took deep breath and said

"It's Khushi isn't it??"

Arnav was shocked and his angry look was placed with a guilty one.

"Lavanya how do you'??"

"Asr i'm not a fool god damn it!! The way you both locked your eyes anybody could tell that you both are madly in love with each other!!"

Arnav just held his breath!! He didn't even admit himself that he was in love and right now another person was standing infront of him and was telling him he was in love. So this was it! He loved Khushi!! Everything made so much sense now.

That's why he was not capable of staying away from Khushi and was short of breath when she was going away from him. Di's words made clear sense now. He was victim of the feeling called love which he refused to believe in.

"ASR you do love her don't you??"

His mind wanted to shout and tell that 'NO I am not in love with Khushi' but somehow they never came because his heart refused to let those words out.

" Kya farak padhta hain Lavanya??"

"Farak padhta hain ASR!! It bloody hell does make difference if my fiance is in love with another girl. It's a matter of our whole relationship and a matter of lives of three people!!" she shouted in her most devilish voice

She controlled herself and started again.

"Look I know that both of you love each other and that's why I'm leaving you and breaking our relationship. Go and tell Khushi that you love her. For my sake please"

"No Lavanya. She doesn't' lo.. She doesn't love me." His words came out broken and full of pain, without any hint of THE ASR tone "I mean after all those things I did to her. I didn't leave any reason for her to at least like me"

Right now he regretted everything single thing he had done to cause her pain. If he just had let her free that night at the fashion show, hadn't let her fall off his office cabin, hadn't always reminded her of her status and aukat!! The list could go on and on!! I am such a bloody fool!!

"No Arnav. She loves you too!! And I will prove you that she does indeed love you!"

She suddenly grabbed Arnav's hand and led him downstairs leaving no time for him to react.

She looked here and there for Khushi and saw her at the dining table talking on the phone and taking notes.

She looked at Arnav and whispered into his ears

" Arnav go and hide behind the pillar but make sure you can still hear us. Am i clear??"

"What crap Lavanya. Are you even.." he was cut off by her

"Please listen to me for once ASR!!" she said with a pleading voice!!

He did what she told him and hid behind the pillar. 'Great' he thought.

He was hiding in his own house and was stalking Khushi!! He couldn't believe it.

Lavanya went beside Khushi and started talking.

"Arre Khushi what are you doing??"

"Nothing Lavanyaji I was just talking on the phone about the sweet shop owner. "

"Ah ok. But tell me...you haven't told me anything about your fiance!!"

Arnav behind the pillat was taken aback at the word 'fiance' and wanted to just go and lock his lips with Khushi's and make her clear that she was his!!! ONLY his!!

But he patiently waited for Khushi's reply. He could see that her go- happy- face expression was suddenly changed into an sad and painful one.

He was somehow relieved by that and felt happy that she too didn't like the idea of her being engaged.

Khushi suddenly fell off mood!! She really wanted to forget that she was engaged to Shyam. To a man she never loved nor will. She hesitated to reply and the words came out broken." What.. what is there to tell Lavanyaji??There is nothing special'"

"Offo Chamkili come on!! How is he like?? is the prince charming of your dreams that you once told me about?? Like you know caring, protecting and loving you so much that he could even die for you"

Arnav held his breath for her answer.

Khushi gave a very sad look and answered

"Lavanyaji, I was really stupid that time. I thought that these princes really existed. But in real life you only have a raakshas that you fall in love with!!"

Arnav could breath again but it seemed as if his world was spinning.

He wanted to jump and dance with joy. His eyes welled up and a big smile was spread across his face.

Lavanya was also happy and knew of which 'raakshas' khushi was talking about but decided to play on.

"Khushi?? Raakshas?? Oh my god.I hope you are not talking about your fiance!! are you??"

Khushi who was slightly taken away came back to her senses and suddenly blushed a deep crimson red. "No no Lavanyaji. He is not a raakshas. He is really sweet and i never heard him rise his voice." she said a bit embarrassed about what she just said a few minutes ago about her 'raakshas'

"But khushi?? Do you love him?"

Khushi was sad because she didn't love Shyam at all. Let alone like him. She was always unsure about Shyam and his sweet talks.

But now it was decided that she had to spend the rest of her life with that person.

"Kya farak padhta hain Lavanyaji??"

Offo!! Lavanya thought. Both of them were killing her with their 'Farak padhta hain' thing!!

"Farak padhta hain Khushi. If you don't love a person then how can you spend you whole life with him??"

Khushi just looked away and didn't answer because she didn't have any answer. Lavanya was right. She couldn't, let alone think about spending her life with Shyam.

"Khushi!! look at me!!"

When khushi didn't oblige her lavanya held her chin and turned her face.

"Khushi. I want to tell you something real important." She took a huge breath and continued " I broke off with ASR"

"What??!!" Khushi shrieked. "But why? how?? couldn't you.." she was cut off by Lavanya

"He doesn't love me" she said with a sad tone.

"What?? but why?? I mean how can he do this??" she said with an angry tone

"Khushi it's ok!! It was me who broke off. He doesn't love me and i think i didn't love him either. I was just in love with all the luxuries that came with this relationship. But I'm not the same Lavanya anymore. I give more importance to relationships and love now than materialistic pleasures. And i should thank you khushi. You changed me and opened my eyes. I am leaving today itself to London. But I will always remember u Khushi. Thank you for everything"

Lavanya got up and was heading upstairs but turned to Khushi and added.

"By the way Khushi. I think I forgot to tell you that ASR is in love with another girl. Maybe you could help him patching up with that girl because YOU know that girl pretty well" she said winking towards Khushi.

Khushi was dumb struck, speechless and shocked of everything about what Lavanya had told her. And especially about the last part.

Arnav behind the pillar was chuckling and holding his hand infront of his mouth not to make any noices. He was relieved and it seemed as if all his problems were solved. But first he still had to find out who Khushi's fiance was and had the sudden urge to pull him with hair and shred him into pieces. After all how dare that person even think of stealing his girl away from him.

And he also had to assure Khushi that he loved her from deep within and that he would never ever hurt her again!! He would bring her all the happiness in her life which she deserved. 'I love you meri jaan'
