Love the proposal but I think I might beat my boyfriend up if he made me wear a blindfold for that long :P

I totally love this ff... I mean I read it in a day... in between working but I am hooked and the proposal wow... kya scene hai :) I want to see more scenes there is however one thing... I may have missed maybe coz i scheme read alot... but when did Arnav and Khushi declare thier feelings... :) i read the bit about the texts and such but i was expecting a whole filmy I love you moment... anyways Its great :) PM me pls with the next update :D

Chapter 20

After another nine and half hours of travelling, they were finally back in Delhi. Khushi yawned as she glanced at her watch which read 07:00 AM. Khushi waited in the VIP lounge as Arnav completed all the formalities, and they were finally ready to go.

'Ready for the big part?' Arnav asked as he held the door of his car open for Khushi.

'BIG PART? What big part?' Khushi asked her eyes getting wider.

'Khushi, are you planning to elope and get married? Because that's the only choice we'll have if we are not telling our parents' Arnav said rolling his eyes.

'Oh, will you please do the honors?' Khushi asked batting her lashes.

'Khushi, NO, No, I am warning you' Arnav said narrowing his eyes.

'We decided it together. So we tell them together' Arnav said.

'Fine, if anything goes wrong don't blame me' Khushi replied pouting.

'Khushi, what happened? Didn't you ring the doorbell' Arnav asked stopping in-front of RM, his hand travelling towards the bell.

'No wait, SHHH. Listen Arnav, we still have time. Can we not tell them right now?' Khushi asked her hands getting clammy and beads of sweat appearing on her forehead.

'So, what did you decide to tell Naniji and your parents about why we haven't been home for more than 24 hours?' Arnav asked matter-of-factly.

'Erm, we'll tell them we went to attend a convention' Khushi said.

'Baby, everyone knows that we don't have conventions every week' Arnav said thoughtfully, raising his eye-brows. 'And anyways, Akash is there. He'll be the first to know if anything like that is planned' he added.

'Fine. Then you can think of a good idea' Khushi snapped, not thinking straight.

'When I was putting the ring on your finger, you didn't seem to be thinking much. Why are you doing so now?' Arnav shot back.

'I'm sorry. I really am. We'll do this together' Khushi said tiptoeing to kiss Arnav. He nodded pulling Khushi closer.

'Anjali bitiya, now atleast tell us where Chote and Khushi went. It's been more than 24 hours' Naniji said.

'I'm sorry Naniji. But, I can't say anything. Just know that they are both fine and will be back soon' she replied glancing helplessly at Mr and Mrs Gupta who sat on the sofa along with Payal and Akash.

Arnav and Khushi walked into the living room and everybody stood up.

'Chote, what kind of behavior is this? Where did yo go without telling anybody? And why did you take Khushi bitiya with you?' Naniji asked.

'Khushi, is this the manners we have taught you? Go anywhere without telling anybody?' Garima asked upset.

'Mom, Dad, I am sorry. Woh...' Khushi started speaking and Arnav cut her off.

'Naniji, Uncle and Aunty, We have decided something' Arnav started and his fingers entwined around Khushi's as he felt her flinch besides him/

'We have decided to get married' Khushi completed the sentence.

'What?' Naniji and Garima said at the same time.

'Marriage in not child's play that you decide such stuff within a fraction of seconds' Naniji said.

'But Nani, what is the problem? Khushi and I like each other' Arnav asked his tone getting higher.

'Dear, such decisions are to be taken after deliberate thinking. Though, I have no problem in this marriage' Sashi said smiling. 'Since it's your life I won't interfere'

'If he doesn't have a problem, I'm fine with it too' Garima said.

'I never had a problem. Infact, I've always wanted a daughter-in-law like Khushi. Beautiful, sweet and traditional' Naniji said smiling. 'My blessings are with you'

Anjali started clapping and twirling around, as she hugged Arnav and Khushi whispering, 'Finally, one love story has moved ahead'

Khushi looked at Arnav smiling. Her face was glowing from an internal light and she looked much prettier. Arnav squeezed Khushi's hand, giving an I-told-you-so look.

'OP! Get some sweets' Anjali called as both families congratulated each other. Meanwhile, nobody noticed as Akash dragged Payal away.
