wow ritzy it was all so dreamy...u wrote each moment really beautifully i was really mesmerised d whole while i was reading...thanks for giving us a beautiful part dat was par more beautiful n cute dan my expectations...

Thank you friends for such lovely comments. I was really tensed for the last part and I am glad that most of you liked it.

I am very sorry but currently my work hours are crazy. More than 12 hrs non stop working with two kids had turned me into a zombie. So till my schedule reaches normalcy, I will update only in evenings and maybe 2 parts a week instead of 3. Also, these are non-edited so apologies for any mistake.

Chapter 99 - Grihpravesh

12^th March 4:30 AM

It was time of Bidai. Though Geet knew that she was going to a house very close to hers and probably meet her family every day, she could not stop getting emotional. "Shaadi ke baad har rishta badal jaata hai….shaadi se pehle mom, dad, brother, sister love you the most….you love them the most….you are their responsibility and you are their priority….shaadi ke baad….pati hi sabse pehle hota hai….har rishta is rishte ke saamne chota ho jaata hai"

Tears welled in Geet's eyes as she hugged Nisha, Raj, Rahul and Pari. Even they could not stop their tears from flowing. Rishab came and patted Raj's back – "Main bahut khush kismet hoon ki apni beti ko le jar aha hoon…aur tu bahut khush kismet hai ki teri beti humesha tere paas hai"

Pinky came and consoled Geet – "Oye…ye kya…tu to aise ro rahi hai jaise kitni door jaana ho….5 minutes bi nahi lagte and moreover har roz to sabne saath hona hai….hmmm"

Maan looked at Geet as she tried to wipe her tears. He knew how she felt. Though both homes were one, relationships change after marriage. He came and folded his hands in front of Raj and Nisha – "Bade Pa…Badi Ma….I promise ki main aapki laadli ko humesha khush rakhoonga….humesha uske saath rahunga…..lekin I promise you one more thing….aap sab bhi humesha uske saath rahenge."

Raj nodded his hand and hugged him.

Geet took some rice and threw it back as Nisha spread her anchal at back. With one last hug to Rahul, she sat inside followed by Maan. Raj and Rahul pushed the car till it took some speed and moved towards KH.

12^th March 6:00 PM

Geet and Maan stood at the entrance of KH. Juhi stood in front of them doing their aarti. There was a beautiful kalaash full of rice kept at the step in between paan leaves. Beyond that was a thaal with red kumkum water in it.

Geet kicked the kalash lightly to let rice fall inwards signifying new happiness she brings inside the house. She kept her right foot in the thaal followed with her left foot. She placed her right foot outside and then left walking on the marble floor leaving behind trail of her footprints.

After entering Geet bent to touch Juhi's feet but she stopped her in the middle – "yeh kya kari ho tum….tumein pata hai na….humare yahan betiyaan pair nahi chooti Geet"

Tears welled in her eyes – "lekin Beeji"

Juhi hugged her and Rishab joined them -"Haan Geet…tum humesha is ghar ke beti rahi ho aur rahogi….samjhi….kisi ke saath bhi tumhara rishta nahi badla siwaye Maan ke saath."

Juhi – "Annie take your bhabhi to the room. Beta….tum naha lo….uske baad we have to go to temple. You can rest after that….hmmm"

Geet nodded and Annie took her to the guest room. Maan also went to his room to get ready.

It was 8:30 AM by the time, everyone returned from the temple. Nisha, Raj, Rahul and Pari had also joined them at the temple and everyone had a hearty breakfast together.

Maan was itching to steal a moment alone with his wifey but he didn't get a chance due to being surrounded with everyone. He had to do with side glances at her as Geet was shy even to look at him in the eyes.

Juhi – "Geet beta….ab tum kamre mein jaake aaram karo….puri raat nahi soyi ho aur aaj raat ke liye tumhein fresh lagna hai….so go and rest. Koi jaldi nahi hai as you need to go to parlor again at 4:00…Annie utha degi tumhein time se.

Geet just nodded and went with Annie to the guest room again. As soon as Maan got an opportunity, Maan was at the door only to find Annie sitting there.

Annie – "Mujhe pata tha Bhai….aap intezaar kar hi nahi sakte"

Maan blushed a little but then recovered fast – "Please Annie jaane de yaar…..just 5 minutes"

Annie nodded in negative – "Off o Bhai….bilkul najhin….aisi bhi kya bekraari hai ki aap itna wait bhi nahi kar sakte…..ab Bhabhi aapko aaj raat reception pe hi milengi…aur waise bhi uske baad to aaj aapki suhaag raat hai hi….so control….and let Bhabhi sleep so that she is fresh like a daisy…aur aap bhi jaaiye…jaake aaram kijiye…zaroorat padegi raat ko" Annie winked at Maan.

Maan knew there was no point in arguing and left with a beating heart.

Annie giggled as she entered the room. Geet blushed – "Dekha bhabhi…kitne utaawle ho rahe the Bhai….but you need your beauty sleep now because kal puri raat aap nahin soye aur aaj raat ko to Bhai sone nahin denge aapko"

Geet – "Anniee!!!!!"

Geet had never thought that she will be able to sleep when her heart was beating so excitedly but surprisingly she did not realize when sheer tiredness took over her body and she slept.

She was woken by alarm at 3:00 PM and hurried through a light lunch to get ready and go to parlor. Both Geet and Maan had decided to wear their wedding attires for the reception to allow people who had missed marriage the heavenly view of married couple. Hence Geet dressed up in her lehnga with all bridal jewelry and Maan in his sherwani.

12^th March 10:00 PM

Geet and Maan mingled with friends and colleagues at the reception party. They even made a small press statement as married couple.

Juhi came near Geet – "Beta….we will handle the party now. You leave as you must be tired. Annie will take you….thik hai"

Geet just nodded as Annie started escorting her. But Maan intervened – "Where is she going alone mom…I will take her home"

Juhi rolled her eyes – "Maan…she is not going alone…Annie is with her and you will go later"

Juhi totally ignored the look Maan gave her as Annie grabbed Geet's arm and took her home. Geet automatically started moving towards guest room when Annie stooped her – "aap kahan jaa rahi ho Bhabhi….aapka room udhar hai"

Geet's eyes widened a little as realization struck her. With thudding heart she entered Maan's…no no…their room. Sometime during the reception, room had been transferred and it looked like a scene out of a romantic dream. No artificial light was on and small candles lighted the room giving it a soft hue. There were rose petals lying around the white marble. Whole room was decorated with roses. The bed itself had a canopy and white jasmine and lily flowers were stringed together to make the curtains. Simple white satin sheets with blood red pillows and bed spread probably signified the entire theme.

Annie nudged Geet a little towards the bed and whispered – "Kaatega Nahin….Bhabhi bed pe baith jaiye"

Geet blushed. Annie – "Abhi se itna sharmaoge to Bhai ke aane ke baad kya hoga…hmmm"

Geet - "Annie!!!"

Annie just chuckled and helped her in sitting on the bed.

Annie – "Bhabhi, now first mom's orders. You are no to come out of the room before 11:00 as you will need some rest"

Geet looked at Annie with fake anger at her teasing.

Annie – "No seriously….moreover even if you get up early which is not possible…then don't wake us up as we will not be out before then."

Geet just shook her head.

Annie – "Also, waise tradition calls for milk but I have placed champagne, just incase you get thirsty…you know. Also there are some fruits if you get hungry after all the hard work"

Geet smiled – "Annie!!! Bahut mar khaogi…agar aur chedogi"

Annie made a baby face. She pulled Geet's veil a little lower to hide her eyes. Only lower part of her nath and lips were visible.
