PART 7

One day before the meeting...

Maan was totally pissed off by the accounting dept, they were getting on their nerves now but he had to keep them till he finds out a good alliance to takeover hi Co's accounting stuff... He had also told Suraj to arrange the meetings with some more such accounting firms, to be on a safer side, if he doesn't watn to work with this Co,hs is meeting tomorrow...

Geet, on the other hand, was also very nervous and anticipating a lot from this contract...both the girls and some employees had already started working hard to bag this contract...

After her accident, she had been getting weird dreams...she didn't pay attention to them before... but recently she had started getting more and more of them... she used to see sum blur images, sometimes it would be a sweet girl of around 18 or 19 yrs, or sometimes it would be an elderly lady, maybe a granny...but who were they??? Sometimes it would be 3 guys playing football along with her, but it was weird that it was not her voice or physic... she had not many guy friends since her childhood...then who were these people??? She started thinking about them but still was not that concerned as it's not always that what we dream...n moreover she had to concentrate on her meeting and presentation... she was well now, except theses dreams...

On the day of the meeting...

Maan was in his office; sharp at 9am...the meeting was scheduled at 10.30 am... it was planned to meet them 1^st in his cabin, get to know each other and then move further to the conference room from their actual meeting... Shaan and Adi reached KC by 9.30am...

Geet and Khanak were at their office at 8.30 am...they decided to keep all the files and CDs in the office itself, as it is the safest place...they collected all the important things they needed and had prepared for this meeting...Geet, Khanak and TJ headed to KC office...TJ would always be present at such meetings to take notes and check if they needed any changes in their contract...

Maan and Shaan were having a discussion about what was happening in the accounts dept, when Suraj came in and told them that the 2 ladies have arrived...Maan told him to bring them in his cabin...

Geet, Khanak and TJ entered the KC building...it was an awesome structure...it had to be,it was a construction Co.. But Geet was again feeling differently...She was rather feeling like she has been to this place several times, like she knows each and every corner of it... they approached Maan's cabin...in her dilemma, Geet forgot to glance at the nameplate on the door...all of them entered his cabin... Maan was sitting on his chair talking to Shaan...

He noticed them entering, and was surprised to see Geet there, Geet was not that surprised as she thought that she would meet this man...She gave him a smile entering his cabin...

Maan- Aare, aap yaha... how come u are here...???so , u r one of the owners of G & K Associates??? He was a bit surprised but happy as well to see this girl fit and fine... then he realised that she was still limping...

Maan- Aare, u r still not well...y didn't u tell it to my person, I would have kept it later or rather at your office...

All of them were shocked to see this kind of behaviour of Maan... how is he talking to a girl so friendly and how does he know that she is hurt...ok, they were able to see that she was limping but this much concern, his friends were being sceptical of his behaviour and looking at each other...

Geet was a little taken aback by his concern...but equally happy that atleast he remembered her... what??? Geet have you lost it...y r u being happy..???pagal chup kar... she scolded herself in her mind and came ot of her thoughts...

Maan- Mr. Khurana, I m fine now and it's just the leg which is still in the crepes...

Maan was actually feeling happy that he got to see this girl again...he had totally forgotten about her...but her appearing in front of him, took him back to their first, no actually 2^nd meet in the hospital...1^st was the day of accident but she was unconscious so officially the hospital meet was the 1^st one... happy..???what??? Maan, have u lost it???kaha kho gaya.??come back to your senses...u have called her for a meeting... He suddenly realised that she was standing for a long time, and her leg may pain so he offered her to take a sit...

All were still looking at them with different kind of expressions on each one's face... they both were talking to each other forgetting that, there were people standing around them... Maan realised that all were still standing and looking at them...

Maan- please take your seats...and welcome to KC... he gave a smile to all of them...

All came out of their reveries, listening to Maan's voice...

Suraj stood up to introduce everyone from KC's side and TJ to introduce G&K's side...

Suraj- welcome to all the ladies...this is Mr. Khurana, the CEO of this company... Mr. Shaantanu Khandelwal and Mr. Aditya Suri, CEO and MD resp. Of the S & A Interiors Ltd.. and I m Suraj Das...hello and welcome again...

TJ- thanks Mr. Suraj...This is Ms. Geet Handa and Ms. Khanak Rao, the formers, owners and MD's of G & K Associates,which is, GEET AND KHANAK ASSOCIATES... and I m Tejasvi Mahadevan, their secretary...

Maan was staring at Geet and Shaan at Khanak...both were totally lost in both of them...

Geet was wearing a crisp white shirt perfectly fitted to her body and stone grey colour pants showing her professionalism from her clothes...while Khanak was wearing a tomato colour kurti lined with blue lace and a matching blue chudidar, same as Geet, oozing professionalism...both of them had had loosely tied their hair in a decent clip but not a single strand of hair was out except the ones they had deliberately left out...

Maan and Shaan on the other hand, both were dressed in decent Armaani suits...Maan in White and blue combi, while Shaan in Black and grey combi... both wore short sleeved shirts showing off their biceps, any girl would drool on and sleeveless overcoats which would look like coats itself...same as the girls, professionalism personified... all the four of them were checking each other out... no one spoke for a while... Suraj, Adi and TJ were looking at them as to say something further...but no1 moved... TJ cleared her throat just to bring them back from their senses... They came back to their senses and noticed that they were staring at each other...they all straightened in their seats and looked away everywhere except each other... Geet then noticed the four guys in this room and she felt that the people in her dreams were getting faces... she was shocked a bit but dint say anything rather didn't react much to put her sanity to test...already she had created embarrassment for her when she was in hospital mentioning about his DJ... someone had to break the silence... Suraj said cleainr the tense in the air...

Suraj- shall we proceed to the conference room...we have toconduct the meeting...we will have a chat after the meeting, whatever be the decision of this meet...

All agreed and went towards the conference room...

Geet went out last, just to keep her pace slow...Maan waited for her to join near the conference room... she was looking down but walking in the right direction...Maan noticed this, but shrugged the thought saying that she must have kept an eye on them...while Geet didn't keep track on where did they went, but she failed to notice this...

They all took their seats and the meeting began... Geet started with the presentation and dicuss all the requirements that would be needed for Maan to know while dealing in Accounts... Maan was impressed with the way she was explaining each and every thing without letting him to doubt her efficiency in her work and clearing his doubts related to the presentation without him asking it... All in the conference room were totally impressed by her work... Khanak continued the presentation further as per they had decided, n she was no less in her work too... All, by now, knew why was this company so much successful... when the leading ladies are so clear in their job, no1 one would dare to doubt their workings... Shaan was floored by Khanak's part of presentation... both the couples, were totally impressed by each other... Maan had mentally decided to give them this contract without any doubt..He doesn't even want to meet any other firm... Doing this, would be an insult of their efficiency... Internally, he also knew that they would not cheat him and would keep him updated of the work they would carry...

Meeting was over, all were impressed and had no doubt that they will not select this firm... All went back to Maan's cabin... Suraj, TJ and Adi, had a curiosity to know how did Maan and Geet knew each other...Khanak and Shaan were in their own world stealing glances of each other... They seated themselves...

Suraj- sorry to ask this, but how do you two know each other???

Maan- Suraj, she's the girl who met with an accident that day, wheni called u to cancel the meeting...

And then, it struck to TJ and Khanak that the doctor had mentioned about his name... they were not around when he came to meet her...

Shaan, Adi and Suraj looked at each other and smirked looking at Maan's smiling face... while Adi and Suraj further smirked with Shaan's condition looking at Khanak...

Suraj- So, I guess, this again a deal between friends...

Geet interrupted Maan, said- Mr. Khurana, before you take any kind of decision, I want to mention that please don't accept this contract looking at me as a person u saved... I want to win this contract on our ability and capability of doing it and not out of sympathy or help... becoz u already would know that we are an established firm...

Maan was already impressed by her work, but what she said now, made him admire her... which person would mention this knowing that rejection of this contract would definitely affect her Co...?!! maybe not to that extent, but it would, definitely...

Maan- y did u feel the need to mention this to me, Ms. Geet...??? Maan maintained his straight face...

Geet- becoz, 1, I don't like people giving me sympathy... and 2, I know I am capable of winning it without any kind of influence...

Maan- Attitude haa...

Geet- No, it's called Self- confidence... Geet said it, her nose held high, and looking straight in Maan's eyes...

Maan was now totally floored by this girl...He could even see some glint of her father... Maan thought, no doubt she is Mr. Handa's daughter... He also stared at her for a while to look that she said what she felt...Maan was already attracted to this girl...She was something else...not like other girls who drool over his money and his physic... He was again lost in her eyes, which were speaking the same thing she said...

Maan, coming out of this thought- I like it... but I had already decided to give you this contract, when the presentation ended...and that too on your n her skills only... And, for your kind information, I don't take people who come in my office with any kind of influence...

Geet said interrupting him- only if the influence is DJ...

Maan and Geet herself stiffened when she said this... how the hell did she know this...

Maan- I doubt that you have met my Daadi... how do u know this...

Geet,tried making an excuse- Ahh, I just guessed it...nothing in particular...and who can go against the elders...

All were totally shocked when Geet said it...she mentally slapped herself for saying it... what has happened to her...why M I hell bent to embarrass herself... n again how did she know this... all kinds of thoughts started to come up in her mind...

Maan said jokingly- kahi tumne mere piche jasoos to nhi lagae hai na...??? n laughed a bit...

Looking at his smiling face, she was relived as she was herself shocked about her behaviour...
