RECAP!!
OK folks, it's time for a little recap I think. I've been receiving PMs and queries about some parts of the story, and some things which are not completely clear to everyone. I realized today that I have not yet read my own story, and so am probably missing out on some parts here and there, or have forgotten to include a few things, since I am purely writing as I go along, with no plan, no plot and definitely no proper end in mind. What you get in updates is what I have happened to clack out on my laptop just before I post here. So, yes...I AM insane, you all are my guinea pigs. 😆
Highlights
We meet KKG and ASR three years after she left home, which was a little after Diwali where ASR announced his marriage plans to La, and KKG was engaged to Shayam days later.
- ASR was not aware of her engagement before she left
- KKG somehow found out about Shayam, and he attacked her and her father, then almost raped her
- She confided this to her family who in turn refused to help her, and threw her out of the house
- She left town without informing anyone
- Angali and La found out about her departure, then also found out she had been engaged
- Her family informed them that she had run off on her own, and then left town themselves
- Angali and La broke the news to ASR who had been on a business trip during that time
- ASR/KKG had not parted on the best of terms before his trip
- They met again 3 years later when ASR signed up to purchase the company he didn't know she worked for
- She hated the idea of meeting him again because it reminded her of the past
- He decided to buy the company anyway
- KKG visits RM and finds out that Shayam is still alive (she thought she'd killed him) and is turned away by Payal who never told her that Shayam was alive and kicking.
- KKG and Payal have only maintained phone contact
- KKG and ASR reconnect, and he is determined to marry her this time because of their obvious feelings for each other
- She is hesitant
- La and ASR have remained friends.
- Violent encounter with Shayam who really does die this time
- ASR offers marriage to save her from criminal charges
- She unwillingly accepts
- Honeymoon, bonding
- Revelation of what happened to ASR's parents
- Hesitation, physical track 😉 more bonding
- Revelation that she contacted her family once more and was turned away
- Back to Sheesh Mahal where it all started
- Security guy at Sheesh Mahal was the same one who interrogated her three years earlier at the fashion show
- Meeting with KKGs family
Things to Remember
I've left out people who I don't think are important to the story, or who can't contribute much, but I may just mention them from time to time. The focus remains on the couple, with as much equal emphasis as I can manage. Also, I will keep alternating between past and present, with as much raw emotion as I can manage, so try not to get too upset if a character acts a certain way during one or two updates. 😉
If I've missed anything, please ask. Because like I said, I haven't read the story... And right now I have NO idea where even the next update is going, leave alone the end. I think I should end the story at 7 chapters, but lets see how that works out. So, I'm off now to drink a nice cup of coffee, and daydream for a while, and hopefully have something for you all soon. 😆
