chapter-39Next week, ronak had to vacate KM due to the notice. He got highly frustrated on finding about the seizure of his swiz account. He was getting wild with impatience, throwing things here and there, howling like a caged animal. By now, he was sure that someone is trying to destroy him and has almost succeeded. He was hardly left with anything, but yet his evil mind didn't stopped working. He was thinking of all possible ways to sneak out of this situation, but nothing was helping.
He didn't understood, why this sodhi was hell bent on destoying him. What has he done to him...??...If he wanted property, he would have stopped after snatching KC from him, but why KM and other properties which he aquired after maan's death...??...nothing was making sense and to top it all, his accounts of swiz bank which contained all his black money from the fraud he made in KC's projects handed over to him at maan's time, were sealed. Though he didn't knew who did that, but seeing the present scenario, he was sure its sodhi's doings.
But the question was why...??...he ran a frustrated hand through his hair, when he recieved a msg on his cell and his eye lit up with some hope.
He instantly opened his laptop and logged in his id and found his inbox showing the new mail from his detective. He clicked the mail and found some attached pictures. With great excitement of finally having some information about her, he clicked on the picture and his devilish eyes grew darker...
It was her recent picture. Ronak caress her face with an obsessive eyes and smirk...so, finally I found you, geet...and let out an evil laugh. But his laughter died down as soon as he notices the man beside her. Cocking his brows, he looks at the picture carefully and then scroll down to other pictures and was shocked...!!
It was indeed Mr. sodhi alongwith geet...!!...But what was he doing there with her and how do they know each other...??...the questions popped up in his mind making him restless. Suddenly a though struck him...
Oh...!!...so, miss geet handa is here to avenge her dead lover boy, huh...??...ronak thought with a smug look...hmm, she has planned all this with that sodhi...but how did she came across sodhi...?? ...and all this time she was hiding and planning all this...!!...not bad geet...!!...he added and looked at the picture with a grave look...
You have called for a big trouble, geet. I wanted to make you mine, but now, I'll have to punish you for this...there was a dangerous look in his eyes...You will have to pay for his, geet...!!
He fished out his mobile and dialed some number...

Maan was pacing in his room, pondering over his coversation with adi the other day. As number of days are increasing, so was his anxiety. He had send adi to HP to grab proofs against ranjit, but now his main concern was ronak and his father.
How to get them confess their crime...??...the question kept haunting him day and night. He was thinking about his plans, when two pairs of arms snaked around his firm waist. From the aroma and touch itself he knew it was his geet. Catching her arm, he brought her infront of him and cupped her face...
Jaan, why are you up so late...??...he asked with concern.
I am not sleepy...she replied lazily putting her cheeks on his chest, leaning onto him.
And why is that...??...he asked affectionately and added...does my jaan wants my company...??...saying so he chuckled as geet hit him playfully on his chest.
Maan, why are you so tensed...??...she asked suddenly in a bit concerned voice...why aren't you resting...??
Maan took a deep breath knowing geet's reason for being not sleepy and replied in a calm voice...
There is nothing like that geet. I was just thinking about some work issue, please don't bother yourself, jaan...!!...geet separates herself and looks at him lovingly...
Why are you trying to hide your problems from me, maan and that too when they are there bcoz of me...??...her voice got a bit sad...I have only given you problems and pain...maan instantly cupped her face between his palms...
Geet, its not that, sweetheart. Don't ever say that...he said in a firm voice...you have changed my life geet, but only for good...he paused and sighed...okay, I am sorry. I should have shared it with you, but you have already gone through so much that I don't want you to take any tension...!!
Maan, it bothers me more if you hide your problems within you and keep me away from you...geet replied and hugged him.

Its about ronak. You know we have rendered him penniless, but I am still clueless about how to get him and mr. jindal behind bars for dad's murder...maan tightened his jaws thinking about his father, but suddenly relaxed feeling geet's warm hand on his closed fist.
Maan, don't think too much. When you have been able to do so much, yeh bhi ho jayega...she snuggled close to him and continued...have faith in babaji, everything will be alright...!!
I guess you are right, I should wait for the right moment to strike him...he finally smiled a bit and looked at her...and now, you should rest...saying so he stnd up and picked her up in his arms.
Maan, what are you doing...??...she said startled by his act to which he replied with a smirk...taking my love to bed...he said and winked.
Geet smiled seeing him back to his naughty self and placed her arms properly around his neck.

Ranjit and ronak were sitting in their flat thinking over the currents events. Their accounts were seized and now, the money they had was also on the verge of finishing. The past few weeks have been terrible for both of them. Ronak's obsession and fury towards geet had increased ten times more from the moment he found out about her being with sodhi. Mr. Jindal too had warn him to forget about her and think about their other problems, but his mind was stuck at her. Moreover his "conception" about geet being behind hiring sodhi to destroy him, didn't allowed him to think beyond her.
He was busy with his cell when the bell rang...
The servant opened the door and came running inside...sir, police aayi hai...soon the police personals enter.
Ronak and ranjit got up instantly seeing police...
What happened inspector...??...ronak asked coming forward
Who is mr. ranjit here...??...the S.I asked with a stern expression
Ranjit came forward and replied...ji main hoon, but what is the matter...??
You are under arrest Mr. Ranjit. You have to come with us...the officer replied making the two shocked.
What...??...but why...??...what have I done...??...ranjit asked in one go while ronak was equally at loss and asked...
Under what charges officer...??
The officer looks at them and said in his strict tone...Mr. ranjit has been charged for murder, abduction and attempt to murder and forgery...!!
Both were flabbergasted...how can that be...??...officer there must have been a mistake...ronak tried to interrupt to which the officer curtly replied...
Whatever it is, right now we have to arrest him and he has to come with us to the police station...as the officer said so, the constable handcuffed ranjit and dragged a struggling ranjit till the police jeep. And they drove away.
Ronak was totally mad now. He knew who could be behind all this. A frustrated angry hiss escaped his lips along with her name...geet...!!

Geet was preparing dinner along with sam, when maan barge in with a big smile on his face and hugged her from back. Geet instantly became conscious of sameera and wriggled...
Maan what are you doing...??...sam is here only...she said pointing towards the sink where sam was busy washing the vegetables. He gently released her and called sam...
Sameera, come here. I have an important news for both of you...sam smiled at them and moved back to them.
What is it maan...??...geet asked seeing him so happy after long time.
Ranjit has been arrested...he said and added...he'll soon be punished for all his misdoings...!!
Your family will get justice, geet...maan said after a pause. Geet was ecstatic with the news and hugged him tightly...really maan, thats great new. Oh, I am so happy...she expressed her joy. Though sam was equally happy on getting her father's murderer behind bar, but she couldn't help getting sad thinking about the time they spent together.
Sam, are you okay...??...maan asked seeing her pale face to which she instantly replied composing herself...yes maan. It is indeed great news. I am glad that criminal is behind bars. He deserves it...she said in a bitter tone.
But maan, what about ronak...??...he is still roaming freely...geet asked in a worrying tone.
Don't worry, geet. Things are fully under control and this time, its Maan singh khurana holding the reins. I'll make sure, he suffers worse than hell...maan said with a murderous look in hs eyes.

Its been three days that ranjit was in police custody. His bail plea was rejected and so he was to remain behind bars untill the court hearings. Mr. jindal was highly upset at his son's carelessness towards business which cost them almst everything.
After ronak releaved to his father about geet being the main player behind sodhi, he didn't took long to understand adi's involvement. After all the contract as well as other papers were made by him and he had a thorough knowledge of the financial status of KC. May be thats why they had also kept him, but now it proved to be their blunder.
Ronak's mind was heating up with each passing minute. He got up letting out a frustrated groan and took his car keys and marched towards the door angrily, when mr. jindal stopped him...
Ronak, where the hell are you going...??
Dad, the water is above our head now...he replied frustratingly...I going to finish it, once and for all...!!
Don't be ridicullous ronak. You'll land yourself and me in trouble...mr. jindal scolded him. But ronak was waytoo adamant and left the room banging the door behind.
It was already three hours and there was no sign of ronak. So, finally mr. jindal decided to leave. He opened the door and was shocked to see police standing right at his door step.
Startled by their sudden appearence, he asked...
Yes, what can I do for you...??...he tried to sound composed when he was getting hell nervous and anxious.

Geet was humming a soft tune, placing the flowers in the vase, when suddenly she heard some noise from the hall. Without looking back, she said...
Sam please keep the bread inside the fridge...!!
But no reply came. She thought may be she was busy and so continued with her work. After few minutes, she came out of her room andfound it weirdly silent. She felt a strange creepy feeling around her.
She glanced at the watch and thought...kitni der hogayi hai, where is maan...??...aur yeh sam kahan hai...??...she scanned around and called out for sam...sam, where are you...??...sam...??
Geet gulped as only her voice echoed in the hall. She was about to move to the other room, when she heard his voice...
Geet...!!
She froze at her stop on hearing his sinisteral voice. How can she forget his evil tone and frightening presence...??...even after that dreadfull night, she used to shiver remembering his sinful touch, his obnoxious image, his filthy smell...!!
Her mind stopped working for a second thinking he found her. But, reminding herself that maan was there for her,she got her strength back and turned to find that very disgusting creature in front of her.
Ronak looked at geet with a deadly gleam in his eyes, like quenching his thirst of ages drinking her sight. Geet cringed as she noticed his dirty gaze on her body and stepped back...
What are you doing here...??...she asked mustering up courage.
To her reply, ronak smirked and moved forward with heavy steps sending a strange danger signal to geet through his eyes. Geet kept backing til she was against the wall.
He leaned closer and whispered...oh, I missed you so much, sweet heart...geet felt disgusted being so near to him. She on an impulse pushed him hard and shouted...
Stay away from me or else it would be very bad for you...!!
Ronak chuckled and said in a deadly hushed tone...oh really, what would you do...??...huh...??...kill me...??...you can't do anything to me geet and now, you are coming with me...he neared her and said...I have waited long enough for you and I won't let you run away this time...saying so he grabbed her wrist and started dragging her towards the door.
Suddenly, sam entered from the door with some bags in her hand and was horrified to see ronak dragging geet. She had met ronak a few times with ranjit and knew what sought of person he was from the info maan and geet had given her.
Leaving the bags on the door itself, she moved towards them and tried to pry off his hands from geet's...
Leave her ronak...!!
Oh, I should have known, it was geet who rescued her dearest sister...he glanced a look at a struggling geet and then look back at sam...
Get out of my way, sam. I am here for geet and won't mind hurting you if you cross my way...he threatened her. But sam ddn't budge and kept trying. Getting enraged by her efforts, ronak left geet's hand and then pushed sam with such a force that she hit the table with her head and collapsed.
Sam...geet screamed seeing her getting hurt and tried to reach her, when ronak grabbed her again...so eager to meet your sis, huh...??...too bad geet, as for now, you are coming with me...!!
Keep your hands off me...she shouted hitting him with her fist, but he was more powerful and tied her taking her scarf and dragged her with him.
Sam, who was semi-conscious, somehow reached her cell kept on the table and dialed maan's number...!!
Maan was right in front of her within 15 minutes...
Sam...sam...he patted her cheeks to get her back to her senses. He took a glass of water from the table and sprinkled few drops on her face, which brought her back. Pinky arrived to meet geet and was shocked to see a bruised sam and maan there.
Jiju what happened...??...sam, oh my god...!!...she panicked seeing her state.
Sam opened her eyes and looked at maan...
Ma...an...she tried to call him out...maan, woh...geet...
What happened sam, where is geet...??...he asked getting extremely worried now.
He...he took her...sam replied
Who...??...where is geet, speak up sam...maan urged her to speak.
Ronak...saying so she went back to unconsciousness.
Pinky, look after her. I have called an ambulence. Just be with her, okay...??...saying so he got up when pinky stopped him...jiju, geet...
Nothing will happen to her...he said without looking back...this is maan singh khurana's promise...!!...saying so he marched out.

Ronak kept dragging her after getting out from his car and brought her inside the same room that kept haunting her all these days. Yes, they were again at his farm house, but this time, she was much more confident as she knew maan was there and no one can harm her...!!
As they reached inside, ronak flung her on the bed and stood in front of her. Geet got down and tried to relese her hands from the scarf, but couldn't. She kept wriggling untill she heard ronak's evil laughter...
Oh geet, you are so naive...he pused and looked at her...that is what attracts me to you, always...he said tracing his finger at her face.Geet jerked his hands off and stepped back...
Stay away from me, ronak. I am telling you, you'll repent very badly...she hissed angrily.
Oh...!!...so much confidence...??...he asked raising his brows and then added...on whom, geet, that sodhi...his voice showed extreme hatred.
Geet gasped as she heard the name and an instant thought strike her mind...does he know about maan...??...her heart raced at the very thought of maan being in any danger.
Ho...w...how...do you know...??...she stuttered
Do you really hink, I won't figure out about your ploy to trap me, huh...??...he said gritting his teeth...you are wrong, geet...!!...no one can save you from me. Jab tumhara maan kuch nahi kar saka toh yeh sodhi kya cheez hai...he said with smirk.
So he don't know about maan yet...geet let out a sigh of relief, but looked at him with furrowed brows...

Oh come on geet. You asked the same question last time. Don't you get it once...he said coming closer...I want you geet...!!
Well, I think you too have a weak memory as I told you before also that geet belongs to maan and only maan. So,stop dreaming...geet spat back.

Geet felt the same fear seeping through her body like last time and stepped back and was trapped between the wall and ronak. He stretched his hand towards her while geet closed her eyes screaming maan's name,when she heard his voice...
Ronak was about to touch geet when maan, who was in sodhi's get up caught his hand in the mid way and said in a deadly tone...
How dare you lay your filthy hands on my geet...??...his voice had the power which shook the very soul of ronak. He could literally feel the anger in his voice. But he kept himself under control and replied...
Oh look who's here...mr. sodhi...!!...he glanced at geet and added...new boy friend, geet...??
His words added feul to maan's anger and he placed a hard punch on ronak's face making his lips bleed.
Dare you take geet's name from your dirty mouth. I'll tear you to bits...maan roared and turned back to geet. Geet, rushed to maan's arms as soon as looked at her and asked...
Geet, you are okay...??...she nodded and placed her head on his chest, while he released her hand placing her duppatta securely around her neck and wrapped his arms protectively around her.
Ronak got up wiping his lips and said with a snigger...
Geet, you went to him so easily. What happened to your love for maan now...??...I can give you much more than him, just come to me...geet could feel maan's hold getting stronger and realized his escalating anger...
Maan released geet and took out his turban and beared showing his real face to ronak,who looked like he has seen a ghost and a whisper escaped his lips...

Maan singh khurana ko marne ke liye tumhe abhi kayi janam lene padenge...he moved forward and punched him hard in his stomach making him yelp in pain. A great sense of relief seeped through maan and he pounced at ronak like a deadly predator on his pray...
This is for laying your filthy eyes on my fiance...he kicked him with such a force that he dashed aganst the wall...this is for lusting for my love, for touching my geet...he said punching him again...this is for breaking dadima's trust and giving her so much pain...he kept on hitting him while geet sobbed silently seeing him venting out his anger.
Why...??...why ronak...??...I trusted you so much...ronak pushed maan as he heard him and shouted angrily...
Because I hate you...!!...maan and geet were stunned to hear him...yes maan, I hate you and hated your bloody success...!!...I wanted to have a lavish life like yours with every luxuries at my finger tips. I hated you for getting all the appreciations and I hated you for everything you are...he blurted out...my dad killed your father so that I can be the heir of khurana empire, but then you came from nowhere and I was merely a servant under you. I hated you for all that.
He shifted his gaze towards geet and said...and when I saw geet, I forgot everything. I just wanted to have her at any cost. She became my passion, my desire, my obsession...yes geet, you are my obsession...!!...So, I decided to kill you, maan so that geet and I could live in peace, but see you are still alive and I hate you for this...!!
Geet gave a disgusting glance at him while maan's possessive side overtook and he thrashed ronak to plump. Blood oozed out from his face and limbs while he cried in pain. But maan was no where near stopping.
Soo, adi entered the room along with police and separated maan from ronak...
Leave me, I'll kill him today. Somehow, maan was separated from ronak and ronak fell on the floor almost lifeless...!!...The officers took ronak along with them while adi said...
Sir, mr. jindal is arrested and we have all the proofs. Don't worry everything is under control...!!
Maan took a deep breath and calmed himself. He nodded at adi and then said...
Adi, this room has a camera. Get that footage for ronak's confession. We can use it against him...!!
Adi nodded and left the room.
Maan looked at geet who was standing at the corner of the room sobbing silently. He went to her and engulfed her in his warm protective embrace, shielding her from the rest of the world. Though he knew geet had been keeping a strong front but from inside she was very much shaken. He just kept her in his embrace and let her cry,for the last time...!!
