She is a grey character... very orthodox don't believe in love hence can't accept his love and also that his mother ran away with someone... she wants to see Geet happy but thinks she know everything and Geet will be happy in what she decides as she can never be wrong... so she was thinking that Maan can never pass the challenge and also wants to test his character so told Teeji to do something but doesn't know what he is doing exactly
