Sleeping beauty Part 27

Geet was cooking.
The phone rang.
She kept the phone towards her ears and continued cooking.
"Hi Geet".
"Maan!"
"Geet...go to your room and open the cupboard.I have kept something there",Maan said.
"What is there?"Geet asked.

"You do what i say",Maan said.
"Ok".
She went to the room and opened the cupboard.She was surprised to see a beautiful sky blue saree and matching accessories.
Maan rang her again.
"Maan!What a surprise!Beautiful saree and beautiful ornaments.I loved it.Thank you so much".
Geet was excited.
Maan smiled.
"Geet..wear it in the evening.After i come from the office we will go to a place".
"Where Maan?Wearing the saree and going somewhere means...i don't think it's an ordinary place.Is it a party?"
She was confused.
"Geet...i can't say anything now.You get ready.I will pick you up in the evening".
"Ok",Geet said.

Geet wore the saree and waited for Maan in the evening.
Maan came back.
He controlled himself seeing her.
She smiled.
"I knew that you would look beautiful in this saree.But i never knew that you could beat the most beautiful ladies in the world".
Geet blushed.

They both got inside the car.
Maan started driving.
"Maan..where are we going?"
Geet asked him.
"To attend Nandini's wedding".
Maan's reply was a shock for her.
"Nandini's wedding?But she did'nt invite me.I did'nt know at all.Wy did'nt she invite me?"
"She had invited me.I know that she wants you there".
"She did not inform me at all".
Geet was cut up.
"Geet...when you were not in your senses you hurt her a lot.You hated her.You misunderstood her.So she was scared to invite you for her wedding.But she wants you to attend her wedding",Maan said.
"Maan...i can't understand anything".
Maan told her how she misunderstood Nandini.
Tears dwelled in her eyes.
"Maan..i tore my best friend's heart.How could i do so?"
"Geet...if you attend her wedding and surprise her she will forget everything".
He tried to console her.

Maan took Geet to the wedding place.
Maan and Geet were tense about how Nandini will react.They look at Nandini.

Nandini was surprised to see Geet.
"Geet!"
Geet became very emotional.
Maan said,"We are together now Nandini.Geet remembers everything now".
Nandini was surprised.
"I'm so happy for you both".
Geet shed tears.
"I'm sorry Nandini.I wounded your heart.I can't be forgiven".
Nandini could not control her emotion.
She hugged Geet.
"You came here...yiu are attending my wedding.This is more than enough for me".
Nandini wiped her tears.
"Now don't cry..watch my wedding".
Geet smiled.
"Finally you are getting married to your long time sweet heart Sameer".
"Yes Geet",Nandini blushed.
Maan and Geet watched Sameer-Nandini's wedding.

Geet looked very cheerful.
Maan felt happy.
"Now you look very happy Geet".
Geet smiled.
"Yes Maan.I'm very happy now.I got my friend back.

Thank you so much Maan for giving this precious moment".
Maan smiled.
