THE PTA meeting:

Mrs.Juliet: Men and women are two integral part of the society.In every phase of life,these two forces has to co-exist and work for the society.Education is meant to train the students to face the outside world. The fact that we still have gender specific educational institutions is a taboo. Considering all these facts,the dept. Of Collegiate education has released a circular, according to which any gender specific institute can be converted to a co-ed. with the consent of the management. I hereby announce that MIT management has no objection to this.


With that the crowd started murmuring. There was an air of disapproval. Finally prof.Nivedita spoke out,
Nivedita: listen,ladies and gentlemen,the final decision will be taken only after considering your views.

Sidharth Handa: xcuse me ma'm, i think u should conduct a survey or voting among the students as well as parents.
Mr.Kapur: voting? Kya voting? kis cheez ke liye? Arey hum apni betiyo ko yeha padne ke liye bhejte he.Baki saara xperience shadi ke baad ho jayega. Ab in logo ko ladka dhundne ki zarurat nhe.
Juliet: Mr.Kapur,plz think before u talk.
Mr.Rathore: i agree with the management.This should be implemented.Our children are here to study only.

Mrs.Kapadia: but we,parents prefer a women's college bcoz of the discipline..
Kapur:wat discipline? Arey betiya jab women's college me hoti he to ma-baap chen se ji sakte he.Warna aj kal to... Dekhiye me saaf saaf kehta hu,ek hi beti bachi he meri.Bada armaan he ki uska kanyadaan me khud karu!

The crowd again raised their voice supporting Kapur.
Sid: so that rules out the need for a voting process!
Mrs.Juliet: thats it.MIT will remain a women's university only.The meeting is dispersed!

Near the parkin lot:

Geet n Co. : loose control...loose control...i am a rebel!!
Mira: masti ki paatshala,apni to paatshala!
Pinky: waise Geet ek baat bata
Geet:bol Pinky

Pinky: ye boys yeha aajaye to hume kya? I mean hum kyu protest kar rhe he?
Mira wacked her.
Mira: uffo dumbo,itna sab kuch karne ke baad tu ye soch rhe he?
Pinky:ha to ab batao na
Geet: soch agar boys yeha a gaye,to phir hume kaun ghas dalega? Stars to wo hi banenge. Phir hum kya karenge?
Pinky:arey haa ye baat to sahi he.
Geet: he na. Tabhi.

Just then Sidharth Handa came to meet them.Geet quickly ran to him and hugged him.
Geet: dad,u r just too good. PTA ko manana itna asaan he,ye to mujhe pata hi nhe tha.Good job Sid paji!
Sid: Geet bete,atleast apne frnz ke samne mujhe dad bulao
Geet: kya kare adat ban gayi he Sid!

Mira n Pinky: hello uncle
Sid: hi. Waise PTA episode ka credit apke papa ko jaata he Mira bete. He is the one who worked for it.

Kapur was about to join them when he saw Mrs. Juliet and prof.Nivedita.
Kapur: xcuse me Juliet ma'm. Plz don't feel offended.Just take it in a sportsmanspirit.U just tried to score a goal which i defended sucessfully.
Juliet: I am not offended.After all ignorance is not a crime
Kapur: wat do u mean?? If u r still thinking about making this a mixed college,u will have to face the consequences.
Juliet: are u threatening me? Then for ur kind information Mr.Kapur, every women's college affiliated by the education dept. has the right to admit a boy in
its masters. If someone approaches me with such a request,i will fill that seat.

An angry Kapur came near Sidharth
Kapur: wat an arrogant lady?
Sid: but she only stated the fact.Every post-grad course in women's college has a seat reserved for boys.Till date no one has came with such a request
Kapur: wat if some one comes?
Geet: dont worry uncle usey hum dekh lenge!
Kapur:shabash meri sherni.(to Mira) and u better concentrate ONLY in your studies, ONLY ok?
Mira(embarassed):yes dad
Geet and Pinky supressed their laughter.
Geet:Sid me apko gaadi tak chodti hu
Sid:as u wish princess.

As they walk,
Sid: waise,one thing i am really happy about u.
Geet:ohh,kya Sid?
Sid: no one has got to say any good thing about u.

Geet: i know that. Par kya kare ladki apne baap pe gayi he.
Sid: Geeett??
She smiled cutely which melted her loving dad immediately.
Geet:i have jst one more year left Sid,and i cant be a robot just for a reputation
Sid:point! Aur pata he Geet,i love kids who are naughty..
Geet: thats my dad!
Sid:kaun?
Geet: bye Sid!

CK: U know,his dad had always dreamed of him completing masters.
Nivi: and have u told him that?
CK: How could i? He never missd his dad. And i dont want him to feel so.Anyway let things be like this.
Nivi: really?
CK: Nivi! Tum to janti ho na. The term has not even started. I dont know how i will make him complete the remaining 2 Semesters ! Pata nhe aur kitne college! Infact i have tried all good colleges in Delhi. Now i think i should luk for one in Greater Noida!
Nivi:again hostel? do u remember wat he did last time!
CK: I know,he came back after two days. But wat to do? This guy needs to tame his ways. He cannot just do watever that comes to his mind! And is there any college which can teach self-discipline?
Nivi: i think i know one college
CK: Wat?
Nivi: my college MIT!
CK: Are u kiddin?
Nivi:no Chitra. Its possible. The VC even mentioned it today. I can talk to her.
CK: Wat are u talkin about?
Nivi: i vl xplain

Juliet : Nivedita i just retorted that Kapur. But i never meant that
Nivedita:but ma'm i thot u were serious.In fact u should be. I even have a candidate!
Juliet:but the 3rd sem has started a week before.if i admit a boy now everybody will take it in a wrong sense
Nivi: thats not our problem ma'm. Infact it will clear their apprehensions. And this guy,he hails from a very respectable family.He is the son of my best frnd.MArch final yr. Highly intelligent and good academic records. He is one of the best hockey player,boxing champion.interested in martial arts too.

Juliet: sounds good.Infact we need a student who is an all-rounder!
Nivi:yes ma'm. Thats him Maan Singh Khurana,equally good in academics nd xtra-curricular activities.
Juliet:ok.I will think about this.

I know the pace of the story is slow and that too without Maaneet. But need to build a plot,after all there should be some reason for MSK entering a women's college! 😉
