Their drive is silent while maan stealing glances of geet now and geet looking out of window with satisfied smile playing on her lips.

"kya soch rahi ho geet?" maan asked diverting her attention to him.

"nothing maan….i m just looking out….looking at the darkness" geet replied still looking out.

"geet" maan stopped the car and turned towards her.

Geet is still looking out of window "maan pata hai I have a strange connection with darkness….this night time…" geet said.

Maan sat still letting her say….letting her spit out her thoughts.

"maan when I m a small child mama used to show me this moon and used to feed me and when I grew little by little I used to watch night sky and stars…mama used to tell me that my prince will stay on that stars and one day he will come to me and take me away on his white horse…..i used to believe in fairy tales…angles coming for rescue of little girl in distress….but truly I m never in any problem…..i m a princes in my parents eyes….they always gave me what ever I want without even asking……I had a great family anf then my friends…..from my childhood I had my gang who care for me and never allowed any evil near me……but my one decision changed my whole life…..i decided to study in mumbia and that one decision turned my life upside down…..

I dunno…..yes I dunno what people are….how they think…..who to trust and whom not……my innocence….may be its called my stupidity……that let me make wrong people as my friends….." she stopped and looked at him

They both are lost in them. Even as maan know the whole truth he let her tell herself.

Geet again started to say "maan I dunno why I want u to know this….and y I m feeling to share this with u when I said nothing to my friends…not even meera…..but I want to tell u………" she paused and turned and opened the door and went out.

Maan came out and stood beside her leaning on the car. Geet went and sat on the bonnet of the car and maan sat beside her.

She again lost in the dark sky above them.

"its in mumbia maan ….. I met her….priya……she made my life upside down….arghhh….i let her turn my life….its my mistake……I thought her as friend but she turned out evil….and then…..the rahul.." she stopped and looked at maan. She dunno what made her look for his reaction. But he sat there without any reaction.

She doesn't even know what reaction she expected but she felt disappointed "rahul is friend of priya and he became my friend through her but later he proposed me and I agreed" geet stopped again to look at maan's reactionless face again.

But maan is trying to control his anger so much…..that name….rahul…. from her lips….he dint like….he hated it so much….more than he hated rahul.

"days went well for some time but later I came to know what they are…how evil they are…..rahul lu….."geet chocked. Now her face was completely filled with tears which she is trying to suppress from long time.

Maan saw her tears and instantly hugged her. she hugged him back and cryed hardly making his shirt wet by her tears.

"maan…he….rahul…."geet tried to speak but failed.

"shh geet…shh don't worry main hoon na….shhh" maan tried to control her.

She is shaking so badly. He rubbed her back trying to control her.

"maan…he…..he lusted on me maan…..he tried to get me……maan train me….." she sobbed harder. Maan hugged her even tighter trying to assure her that she is okay…he is there for her.

"I hate him maan…..i hate him so much" she said while still sobbing.

"geet I will never leave that bas***d geet….i will make him suffer…..make his life a living hell…….i will not leave that rahul for making this to my geet….i will never leave….not even that priya……don't worry geet" maan said unable to control his anger anymore.

He hugged her tighter saying "don't worry geet…..main hoon na…..geet jab tak mein hoon koi tumko chu bhi nahi sakha….i will punch their life out of them geet…..i will never let any harm to even touch ur shadow……any one should face me….Maan Singh Khurana before reaching u…..tume kuch nai hoga geet"

Maan's words did a wonder for her. she felt unknown warms ness…..she felt safe in his arms.

Finally after few minutes her sobs reduced and she slept in his arms.

Maan carried her and put her in the car and she instantly snuggled into a ball and slept peacefully.

Maan drove the car….his one hand on the wheel and one hand caressing her head. Finally they reached geet's house. Thought maan want to take her in in his arms but he cant do as he knows her father stay with her. so he had no other option than waking her even he hated to do that.

"geet….geet" he called her softly. But she cuddled further and slept.

He smiled at her and shock her by her shoulder "geet…utto geet"

"kya maan" she said sleepily.

"ghar agaya geet" maan said and smiled when she woke up with a jerk.

"kya….i slept in the car itself?...omg….maan why didn't u wake me" geet said.

"I think that wat I m doing now" maan smiled.

"okay then bye maan" she said and got down but turned back suddenly and hit the hard body of maan and fell back.

How can she fell….when maan is beside…ha ha….maan caught her anf the mahi eye lock as usual.

When she got down maan also got down and went near her and that is when exactly she turned back and hit his chest and fell back.

Maan caught her by her waist and both staid like that lost in each others eyes. Finally they got back and geet spoke "maan wo kya hai na…..ek baath puchun?"

"pucho geet" maan said.

"how did I get in car?...i mean I….we sat on bonnet na they how come I woke in car?" geet asked.

Maan smiled " I carried u"

"ohh" geet felt embarrassed.

Maan felt that and try to lighten the situation so he said "tum kitna weight ho geet"

"kya????...aap mujhe moti kaha?" geet opened her mouth.

"haan geet….u know I m getting back pain now….why don't u decrease ur weight….it may help me in future" maan laughed.

But geet blushed. Maan saw her blushing.

She tried to avoid it and said bye to him and strated to run literally but maan stopped her by holding her wrist. He pulled her to him and quickly pecked her cheek a left from there leaving her shocked and rooted to the spot.

Geet stood there thinking of what maan just did and she blushed and ran in.

She slept thinking about their time then…how she told everything to maan…how he hugged her…how she slept in his arms….how he pecked her……she can do nothing than blushing.

Maan went back to KM and the same thing with maan….thinking about geet he slept.

Next moring: KC

Geet entered KC with a warm smile…..she is feeling better after sharing her past with maan.

She went into her cabin and looked side to watch maan but his blinds are closed. She sat in her chair and adi barged in hurriedly saying "geet….geet"

" adi sir calm down….kya hua?" geet said standing up.

"wo….maan sir is calling u into his cabin…..go with mr.malhotra's file……" adi said and left without even listening to her answer.

Geet took the file and went and knocked on his cabin.

She heard his voice "come in"

She entered his cabin and saw misha standing there already and adi followed her in.

Maan lifted his head from the file and looked at the three.

"so what is the progress of the project?" he asked looking at geet.

No one answered him. All kept silent.

Maan shouted "I am asking u something?"

Geet murmured "ye lo dust danav phir se bahar agaya"

"geet….what about the blue prints?" he shouted.

"blue prints? Kal work diya aur aaj puch rahe ho?" geet murmured again.

"geet….mein tumse kuch puch raha hoon?" he shouted again.

Geet stood there still talking herself unaffected by his looks or his shouts…..but adi and misha are scared.

"I asked u to do it yesterday…what did u do yesterday?" maan asked.

"ye lo babaji….yeh puch raheho jaise usko pata hi nahi" geet complained to her babaji.

Misha spoke "sir we started to work on the blue prints….until now we completed rough designs sir"

"how much more time it will take?" maan asked

Misha instantly said "another 2 days sir"

"hmm…do it quick….this week mr.malhotra is coming for the meeting and this time geet U will do the presentation….take help from misha and adi" maan said.

"yes sir" geet muttered slowly.

"now what are u waiting for….go ….get back to ur work" maan said

All turned to leave….as misha and adi left the cabin maan stopped geet "geet ruko"

Geet stopped and turned to him "yes sir" she said.

"geet kal tum kya kar rahi ho?" he asked.

Geet frowned "jaise aap ko pata nahi"

"nahi…mujhe pata nahi…batav?" maan said walking towards her.
