PART 14

They both felt a shiver run through their spines.. Geet felt so contented and satisfied as if these arms were made only for her .. while maan on the other side was holding her protectively .. Tightening his hold on her as seconds passed promising to himself to protect her always.. They stayed in that position for so long .. none of them wanted to free ach other .. They were enjoying each other's touch.. But just then some noises brought them back to their senses.. They broke of the hug not able to ace each other .. They did not understand what to say and how to say .. They both turned their backs towards each other..

Maan : Oh god ! Maine phirse control nahi kiya ?? Maan singh khurana aisa nahi kar sakta .. main kaisay aisay behak sakta hoon ?? main tou usse dance kay baray main baat karnay aya tha aur aab .. wo kya sochain gee aab main kya karoon ??

Geet : jahli .. ghadii .. Ullu ki pathi .. idiot tu kyun aisay karti hai haan ?/baba ji plz mujhain thori akal dee doo .. main tou maafi maangna chahti thi na dance ki .. aab wo kya sochain gay kay main chipku types ho .. chi chi chi babaji ! nahi nahi main unko clear kar doon gee main chipku types nahi .. theek hai na .. ha yehi sahi rahay ga .. haina baba jee ??

She shot a quick prayer and turned to clarify she is not chipku types loll and maan also turned at the same same .. when they both said in unison ..

Then stopped and started at each other ..

Again stopped ..

And suddenly geet burst out laughing .. she couldn't help but laugh at this awkward situation .. maan was lost in her laughter and couldn't help but smile ..

Geet stopped laughing when she saw that he was stairing at her .. she strainghtened herself and said '

Wo main aapko thank you kehna chhati thi ..

Kis liyee ?? he asked acting innocent .

Wo mujhain bachanay kay liayy agar aap na hota tou .. aaj .. she said and her eyes became teary at the thought of what could have had happened if he wouldn't have had been there ..

Maan immediately silenced her not letting her think about the worst .

Shhh . main hoon na ! tumhain kuch nahi ho ga ' he said with confidence .. and then to lighten her mood .. aur isse liee kehta hai saraa waqt sheerni nahi bantay ..

Hana aur nahi tou kya iss tarhaan akelay anay ki kya zaroorat thi haan ?? agar main yahaan na ata tout um jaanti ho na wo rahul nashay main tah aur wo '

Geet got back into her fighting mode and said ..

Isse main meri kya ghalti wo .. dance.. sab loog deekh rahay thay to '

She left the sentence incomplete not wanting to phrase it correctly but her most innocent question made him chuckle..

Maain aap se kuch kahoon ??? aap samjhay gay na ??

Agar main mana kar doon tou tum nahi pochoo gee ?? he asked in a teasing manner ..

Wo tou poochoon gee but just formality you know .. acha ye sab choray wo maine kehna thay kay umm '.woo ' main .. aap .. she took a deep breath and said .. ye mat samajhna main chipku type hoon ..

WHAT ?? he asked in utter disbelieve ..

Wo .. maine .. dance .. hug .. wo ..

He started to laugh looking at her stammer in front of him.. Oh how cute he thought .. Geet was lost in his laughter he had never laughed.. He looked so adorable .. Maan composed himself and said

I know geet relax.. she then smiled and to lighten the mood said .

Waisay maine aapko jitna bura aur dush dhanav samjha tha aap utnay ho nahi .. iss liyee humara kuch ho sakta hai ..

Dush dhanav ?? 😡

Geet bit her tounge realising whta she said and acted all innocent trying to cover up ..

geet abhi tumne kaha na tumhain pata hona chaheeyaay

Maine ?? maine kab kaha ?? very bad aap mujh par ilzam laga rahay hai ! (she said with fake anger )

Maan felt a little bad and thought maybe he made a mistake in listening so to change the topic he said huskily ..

Geet tum keh rahi thi na hamra kuch ho sakta hai ?? tu kya ho sakta hai hamara ?? he said and winked

Geet first blushed and then said haan sir wo me keh rahi thi can we be friends ??

Geet felt bad hearing that but she didn't want to force him to be her friend so she said Ok and started to leave when a strong drip on her wrist stopped her ..

Puri baat tou sun loo ' He said puling her closer to himself ..

I don't want to be your friend but your best friend
.. Her face instantly lit up and he was happy to see the glow but then she frowned and he gave a questioning look .. She then started to think deeply and replied ..

Nahi you be my friend mera best friend tou Vicky hai ..

Again Vicky
he thought .. iss Vicky ki tou main but then he stopped kahene ye Vicky tou nahi .. nahi nahi Vicky ne kabhi bataya nahi geet kay baray main .. main uskay saray friends ko jaantaa hoon ' par maan tub hi na Vicky koi aur bhi tou hi sakta hai na .. aab is duniya main ek tera bhai Vicky nahi aur bhi hai .. Again a wave of curiosity passed through him .. he asked ..

Tou ?? 😡

Tou aap meray best frined kaisay ho saktay ho ??
she asked innocently

Main ho sakta hoon
.. He said and started to walk till she backed up with the wall .. aur aisa best frined jiss se tum sab batain share karoo .. he said removing a lock of hair .. jo tumharay buhat kareeb ho .. he said caressing her cheeks .. uss Vicky se bhi kareeb .. he said gritting his teeth '

Shhh !
he silenced her by putting his fingers on her lips .. buhat bolti ho tum .. he said rubbing his thumb on her lower lip .. Geet felt a blush creep up her cheek with him being so closed .. she suddenly felt shy ..

Bolo ?? kya bano gee meri best friend ??

She smiled and nodded .. so friends oh nahi best friends ?? she said raising her hand for a hand shake .. He took her hand and jerked her closer ' making her collide with his chest and kissed her right cheek .. saying Best .. then the left one saying friend .. Now you're my best frined he said with a naughty smirk and geet stood there shocked ..
