A NEW BEGINNING..

She was lookin shocked at the words.

He had ACTUALLY proposed her!!??!!

How many had she dreamt that he would ask her to marry him in front of the whole world..

She looked around with teary eyes and saw him holding a bouquet of flowers.

She took the flowers in her hand and looked at him hoping he would say something.

He was nervous,scared and excited..

Would she accept my proposal or?

That didn't bear thinking about.

He hoped that she'd say yes instantly but when he saw the hesitation in her eyes,he knew he could never ever regain her trust..

Sighing,he heard himself tell her,"Geet..I want to tell you something"

He could see confusion flash in her eyes.

He continued,"Geet..I know that you hate me from the core of your heart and you do not intend to marry me at any cost..But Geet...Think about Dia..

"I need my daughter Geet..I know I failed in carrying out my responsibilities as a father,but trust me..mein Dia aur tumhari bina jee nahi saktha..I promise you..After marriage.I won't even touch you without your permission..Please?"

Geet looked at him confusingly after hearing those words from him.

She was actually shocked after hearing those words.

She'd hoped that Maan would love her truly and intend to marry her but..

"He wants to marry me only because of Dia!"she told herself.

Controlling the tears that had formed after knowing from him that he wanted her only because he wanted Dia,she told him,"I'll marry you!"and ran away from there leaving him happy...

The wedding preparations were in a full spree.

Accompanied by the usual teasing session and full masti Maan didn't miss the hint of pain everytime she looked at him..

He was confused utterly about her behaviour..

Dia was haapy that finally she would be with Maan all the while..

"Maan,ain't you ready yet?"Dev asked him coming into his room.

"Just 2 minutes bro"he told him.

Dev and the others had started talking to him after they were assured that Maan would not hurt Geet and Dia anymore..

Dev placed a hand over his shoulder and asked,"Nervous?"

Maan smiled a bit and nodded.

Dev said,"bhagvan par vishvas karo..sab theek ho jayega"

Maan smiled and accompanied his brother for the baraat.

Most of the people from the office had come to get geet ready..

At present,Naintara was slipping bangles into her hands.

There was something in her that made Geet trust Naintara completely.She called Naintara ,di and dev ,jiju.

She smiled at Naintara who smiled back at her and kissed her forehead.

Geet had tears in her eyes and hugged Naintara who hugged her back.

Their emotional moment was disturbed by little Soniya(Devtara daughter!)who cooed at them..

The ladies smiled at her when someone came in and announced,"Baraat aagaye!"

Maan was sitting in front of the fire anticipating her arrival.

What was taking her such a long time!

He was getting irritated when he saw her descending down the stairs dressed in a beautiful lehenga.What made him smile was the fact that Dia had also worn lehenga!

He smiled as Geet and Dia sat beside him.

The pandit asked for them to do the seven rounds as Naintara did her Kanyadan..

After all the rasams Maan ,Geet and Dia got into the car to leave for the reception at the Mansion..

She was warmly welcomed at the Khurana household as their bahu.

What anticipated her more was will Maan atleast speak to me after our wedding?
