PART 6-A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

Geet stood there with her eyes closed and mentally cursing herself.What was the need to go from there?She shut her eyes tight especially when she knew that a guy was so close to her.

She felt her breath constrict her threat and that was exactly the moment she heard the honk of a car.Her eyes shot open immediately as she realised the car horn to be Maan's.

She looked in the direction from where a bright flashlight had appeared.The car came to a halt and Maan got down and made his way towards her.

"She's my girl!"he hissed with his eyes spatting fire at the guy who tried to molest her.

Geet was equally shocked as the guy was.She watched in awe as Maan grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer to him.

"Relax dude!!Its just for a night!"the man replied.

Maan clenched his fingers into a fist and gave him a punch right on his nose and said,"Don't u dare mess with Maan Singh Khurana's girl!Get that?"

Geet was shocked but surprised at the turn of events.She never thought he'd be that possessive about her.She sat in the front seat as they completed the rest of their drive in silence..

"What?Really??Thanks mate I owe you a drink!"Shane spoke enthusiastically on the phone.

He came over the table to deliver the good news

Maan was furious.What would have happened if he'd not been there at the right time?The thought of Geet being raped killed him.

He was standing in the highway after she left and was awaiting some sort of help as there was no spare tyre.He saw a car crossing and he signalled for it to stop.Luckily,they were Punjabis and they told that they were going to Mr.Shelton's engagement party.

Maan asked if they had any spare tyre left,and was lucky enough to get it.He took the same route which Geet had taken and was quick enough to spot some guys misbehaving with a girl.

The car came to a halt in front of their Final Destination and Maan looked at Geet who was upset due to the happenings of the day.

He failed to realise her fear.

"Geet"he called out gently but she shot daggers at him and slammed the door on his face before leaving the car.

"God!Her Attitude sucks!"he said to himself before leaving..

"What?!!??"the others said in unison.

"See I told ya!Our plan worked!"Shane said.

Actually it was the Dons who'd planned all this.They had sneaked into Maan's penthouse and punctured his tyre so that the car could stop midway.Also the goons were fake.Shane had paid them to play their part.This was their plan to make them confess and when Shane had called up James,he told him that it was a job well done.

Geet ran inside and was amused with shock at the decorations.It was amazing.She went to congratulate Shane and Rach.

Maan was still furious over what had happened and he went to the bar and asked the bartender to giv him a drink.

Maan had no idea how much he drank but he sensed that he was feeling a little bit dizzy.

Geet was searching for Maan and she spotted him at the bar drinking.She was shocked.She knew he never drank.

She rushed to his side and placed her hand on his shoulder,"Maan"she called out.

He jerked her hand away.

"Maan please,stop drinking"she begged him.

"tum kaun ho..mujhe rokhne ke liye?"he asked in a sleepy and sluggish tone.

"Maan please andhar aayiye!"she asked him.

"Get lost Geet!"he told her.

She was shocked to hear those words from him.She felt tears sting her eyes.She was about to go when she found a hold on her wrist.

Maan shouted "Music!"

The DJ gave him a thumbs up sugn as the song "Baby" by Justin Bieber.
