Part 6-
Finally the wedding was over...Most of the guests had gone...except for the immediate family...As the marriage was from Lucknow...so Khushi and Arnav would also be going back to Delhi in four days time...Waise everyone was forcing them to stay for atleast a week but Arnav had threatened them that if they ask him to stay for more than two days he would go back then only...But after a lot of pleading by evryone including Khushi he was ready to stay for four days...!!

Khushi surely had the time of her life during the wedding and the other functions accompanying it...Even Arnav had enjoyed meeting all the old friends,relatives,etc-etc but you would'nt find him dead accepting that fact afterall he had to mantain his 'khadoos' image...!

So here Arnav was being escorted to his room for his Suhaag Raat by his giggling sisters who were more excited for his Suhaag Raat than he was...as if he was going to have one actually...but kaun samjhaye in sabko...!!

When he finally went inside the room after giving his sisters a hefty amount of money...he saw his new wife sitting on the couch watching Phineas and Ferb with her wedding dress and jewellery on...!...She was so engrossed in the show that she did'nt even notice him coming inside and staring at her thinking how can anyone look sooo pretty...!!...She finally noticed him when he snatched the remote from her hand..!

"What??...Lemme see...!!"

"Are u a 10 year-old kid or what??"

"Who said only 10 year-olds can watch Phineas and Ferb??"

"I said..."

"Accchaaawww???"

"U'r pathetic...Don't u have to get out of this heavy thing u're wearing and get into something comfy and most importantly sleep..??"

"Umm...Good question!...Well yess..I have to...!!..Actually I refrained from doing that before because you know if someone had come inside..example-your sisters...to check up on me...then I would have had to answer a number of unaswerable questions...You understand what I mean..right??

"Yeah...Yeah...I do!!...Now go...!!"

As she was taking out her clothes from her suitcase...she noticed his room...She had been in this room alot when they were young and it had'nt changed much in the past 10 years...She liked the feel of the room...!...She made sure to wear a night-suit instead of a night-gown as she remembered the scene that took place a couple of months ago when he had come to her apartment and his warning about keeping a control over himself(Refer Chap-2)...!!...She still remembered that scene with a bated breathe as it brought goosebumps all over her body...!!

When he came out of the bathroom...changing his clothes...all ready to sleep...She was sitting on the bed playing Traffic Rush on her I-phone...!!.

"At times it's hard to accept that you're a doctor Khushi...!!..."

"Main kya karoon??...U're room reminds me of my teens!!"

"Unbeleivable..."...He was just going to say something else when he remembered..."Wait...Am i going to sleep on the couch??"

"Who else is going to sleep on it??...Me??"...She said...Without even looking up from her game...

"Yesss..."

"Hellooo...Mr Raizada...Officially I'm your wife now...How can you let your one day old wife sleep on the couch ??...That is just sooo mean..!!.."

"Khushi..."

"Don't even try that with me..."

"Khushi..."

She was still busy with her game..."It's not gonna work Arnav...Even if u say Please...which I don't expect you even know that there's a word like that...I'm not gonna budge from this bed.."

"Okay...Fine!!...Then I'm going to sleep on the couch outside...Atleast it's larger and comfier than this one...Goodnight"..He said stomping towards the door..

Now she looked up from her game...and quickly stopped him from opening the door by running and blocking his way"Ab kya hua??"

"Your mind does'nt work when you're angry..right??"

"What the...??"

"Oh god...!!Do you want the whole family to know that our marriage is not a true marriage but a deal...when they find you sleeping outside???"

"Oh hell...I forgot..!!"...He said putting a hand in his hair...

"How can you forget something of such vital importance...??...Afterall tum toh The Great Arnav Singh Raizada ho...You never make mistakes right??...She said passing him a sarcastic smile...

"Ho gayi tumhaari comment-bazi..??..."

"Kind of..."...She said passing him her signature mean look...

"Ab kya karein...??"

"Well I have an idea...!!.."

"Tum or idea...??...That is one of the funniest thing I have heard"

"Sunna hai ki nahi...???"

"Bolo...??"

"We both can sleep on the bed..."

"Whaaat???"

"Aaankhein itni badi-badi mat karo..."

"But...U sure..???"

"Ofcourse...Waisi bhi kaunsa main pregnant ho jaongi agar humlog ek bed pe so gaye toh...We can control ourselves!!.."

He raised one of his eyebrows...and she realised what she had said.."Matlab kya hai tumhara??...Please explain...!!.."

She knew she was blushing extremely and could only hope that he had'nt noticed her embarassment...At the moment she just wanted the floor to open up and his sharp gaze was'nt helping either..."Care to enlighten me...??"

"I mean...I mean...teen-chaar din ko baat hai..Delhi mein toh alag-alag room hoga na...So can we manage for a few days!"..She said pasing him a meek smile...

"You really meant this...??...Mujhe toh laga..."

"Shut up...!!...Main keh rahi hoon toh ofcourse I mean this only..."..and he got another of her signature glares..

"Okay...If u say so...!!"

"But...I have a condition"

"Now what..??"

"You'll have to sleep on the covers..."

"But why...??...As if it's gonna make a difference??"

"Please...Arnav...!!...Itna nahi kar sakte mere liye..."...She said trying on her puppy dog eyes look..."..Dekho I'm even letting u sleep on the bed...Please"

"Think hai meri ma...Afterall aapne mujhe mere hi kamre mein mere hi bed pe sone ki permission di hai..."

"See...I'm soo good..."..She said passing hima triumphant smile..

After half an hour of settling on the bed and lying down but not after making a wall of pillows between them...both of them still could'nt sleep...!!

"Khushi...??..."...He knew she had'nt slept yet because of her regular tossing and turning every half a second..

"Aree...u have'nt slept yet..??"

"Nooo...I could'nt..."

"Hmmm..."

"Waise..u were looking really beautiful in the wedding..."

She sat up on the bed after hearing his compliment..."By any chance do you talk in your sleep..??"

"No...Khushi...I'm fully awake and in my senses..."

"Oh My God...I still can't beleive it...U complimenting me??!!...Thankyou...!!"

"Welcome"

"Waise tum bhi kam acche nahi lag rahe the...and reception wale suit mein toh especially...You know what...Blue suits you more than black..aage se na blue khareeda karo...Even wo joh reception wali sherwani..."

"Khushi..."

"Hmmm...??"

"So jao...It's already two"

"I know...But..meri baat toh sun lo..."

"Khushi...Waise bhi you have'nt slept for the past four days...You must be tired...Let your body have some rest!!.."

"How do you know I have'nt slept for four days??..."

"I'm Arnav Singh Raizada afterall...I know everything...!!Now only sleep and no talking...!!"

"Per tumhi ne toh bolna start kiya tha...main toh chupchap..."

"Khushi...Sleep..."

"Ohkay...!!..."...After two minutes..."Arnav..??"

"Now what Khushi..???"

"Just...Goodnight.."

"Goodnight Khushi...Ab so jao..."

"Hmmm..."

Finally both of them fell asleep...dreaming about the person sleeping next to them..!
