Its great to be a holder of a great, broad mind to accept such child as someone's own. But he should not be emotional and should not take such decision like not going to bring his own child. I find his this decision rather selfish.

I must say this story has again a very different storyline that all ur other ones... I really admire ur creativity..

I was off for a long holiday and came back on Sunday. I read all the chapters I had missed and believe me, I had a very tranquil feeling. If I had been reading a chapter at a time, I would have bashed up certain characters or been too involved in small things, but reading a significant part of the whole story was really soothing.

I appreciate ur efforts in picking up this topic and handling this well without delving too much into gory details. Still, knowing about a repeated gang rape event is very sad... my heart goes out to Geet and to many others who have faced similar situations... I wont judge her character post this event since the fact that she picked up her life alone and was brave enough to have a successful career and a child shows a strength of character even ordinary woman dont have...And Maan's transformation has been a story in itself. I love the strength in his character too - not many ppl have the guts to listen to their hearts irrespective of any circumstances..

I repeat, loved the flow of your story... Hats off 😃

I always try to work on different situations. That's why u see different flavours...it should
be exciting enough to write...
About this FF, my focus was not at all Geet's past...it was Maan's journey...that's why i didn't go into much details of Geet...
Thanks dear for loving it.

I am sorry but I disagree with your characterisation of Geet in this FF.

Have you ever try to find out what it would like being raped. What difficulties rape victims have faced and their mental trauma? I wish you have done at least little bit research about this. It is very difficult for rape victim to trust anyone with their feelings, to be intimate with men. And when you know who is responsible for your condition than you definitely would be scared to trust anyone forget about being intimate with any men.

Geet was gang raped by men for days and night. She definitely will not go near any men after this. I mean who wants to live that horrible moment again and again. She herself said in part 28 that she was afraid to open up, to trust anyone.

On the one hand you have shown Geet with good education, good values, strong personality, self respecting, as fighter and above all she is from the family who give more importance to their reputation. She definitely would not have done this even though her family disowned just for the sake of their family reputation. If she can accept her family's decision for her marriage then definitely she is the woman of strong values and respects her family. She also has proved that what family means to her by asking Maan to get blessing from his family. I wish you could have shown her same as Geet of GHSP. Then your story would be like reality.

To GB specially, I am not commenting to make you upset. When a writer writes, readers do make either positive or negative comments about story. I know and believe that you are very good writer and I did read all of your FFs again and again as they are very good (DM & D&M are my favourite) same as this one. So please do not get upset. If you wish you can ignore my comments.

Lastly, to all those readers who are saying that they do not have problem with women sleeping round with men. To get successful in the male dominated world this is necessary; would they go around sleeping with men just to fulfil their physical needs, to get successful in life? I am sure most of the readers do not practice what they preach.

Till the time discussions are healthy its fine...but when the tone changes to bashing, it upsets me.
I will try to give my POV on few questions u asked.
Rape victims trauma-
Normally, 4 categories they fall in
-1)hey go in depression, not able to overcome or
-2)they adjust to the fact and with their life ahead carrying the trauma within
-3)they don't accept the fact that because of few people, her life is destroyed...She fights back to live
4)They become revengeful
I see Geet between 2nd and 3rd category, and my story is built around that. She is not ready to accept that some goons did something to her and her life is destroyed. She will not let her life go into trashes because of some people...
I always believe in great human spirit of survival...to save ourselves we will goto extreme...u saw same in Maan in dew...Here Geet also, to bring her out of trauma...she tried all to make her happy...
About Geet..her opening her heart again is not coz she was victimized...it was more from the fact that man with whom she agreed for engagement did this to her...she was attached to that person...so she is not letting anyone come near to her heart...
and now about her character..I will not say sleeping around...I will say she started going out.,..that's the way she tells Maan...and I find it absolutely healthy...We also have to look at going out means different for different people. if its Geet from HP...it will be more like what we see in GHSP...if its some from UK...whose mind is conditioned not be against such things...then she will be fine with relations without committment.
the impression that she built her career thru this...or she is random...is all percerption built...that was built to create Maan's hate for her...but only one instance of Raj was there...Did u see any other instance...?
Now, u still may not agree...but that's how the story was built.
