He closed the laptop where he had been working and shifted closer to his dad

Armaan-dad kya maine aajtak apki ya mom ki koi baat taali hai jo ab karunga'I know aap loug mere liye jo bhi sochenge it will be the best'aur jahan tak baat hai larki ki to trust me dad maine usey dekhte hee mom ko bol diya ke I like her'pata nahi kuch to special hai usmein'mmm whats her name'

This was armaan mallik and shashank mallik'.

Armaan is a kind and soft hearted guy and had been working on his dad's business since he came back from abroad after getting MBA degree.Although people prefer to stay back after completing studies as there are many opportunities and so was the case with armaan but he preferred to stay with his family because they needed him and more than that he needed their love,care and support.He is 26 years old,smart,talented and ofcourse goodlooking and handsome.Girls used to drool over him like anything but he didn't pay any attention to them as for him everything has a certain time in life.Now that he is set with something he wants to enjoy his life,not alone with someone whom he can share his life.All were amazed with this fact that even in this century a guy like Armaan was keen on doing arrange marriage-and he gave this job to his parents who had the right to take this most important decision of his life.Last week the Malliks went to see a girl for their prince charming son and eventually fixed everything on that day itself.

Anjali-I cannot believe it momm aaploug next week shaadi karwa rahe ho armaan ki and why this hurry..i mean koi bhaaga thori ja raha hai'

Sapna-dii wohii to main keh rahi hun dekho na'abhi tak to mere medical college ke exams bhi khatam nahi huay main kaise enjoy karungi bhai ki shaadi'

Padma-basss ho gaya tum loug ka'arey thora to bharosa rakho na apni mom pe..dekhna tumhare bhai ki shaadi bhi hogi aur tum loug enjoy bhi karoge'sapna jao parayi karne'

Anjali was still not satisfied'she felt something was fishy'.

Padma was helping the servants in kitchen'.

Anjali-mom are u sure ke aap ne aur dad ne ladki waalon ke bare mein ache tarah se pata kiya hai'I mean they are well off na'

Anjali-look mom I don't know but I had this feeling'.abhi itne kam waqt mein shaadi'na hum unlogon ko ache se jaante hai aur na who humein'strange thing is that ke koi apni beti kisiko is tarah se itni jaldbazi mein kyun dega'hardly ek ya do baar miley ho aap loug unse..isi mein shaadi ka decision'mom I don't think so ke itni jaldi yeh sab hona chahiye'

Padma-anjalii tum na bilkul apne papa pe gayi ho'.baap re baap itni shakki..beta main aur tumhare dad hai na aur shubhankar bhi bata rahe they ke ladki wale bohot ache hai'doctors ki family hai'.aur sach kahun to humein kuch kehne ki zaroorat hi nahi pari'ladki to itni pyari hai ke dekhte hee jee bhar gaya'

Anjali-aur armaan usey ladki pasand hai'.woh to mila bhi nahi ussey'

Padma-armaan'arey uske liye hee to itna sab hai'.pata hai uska bas chalta to wahiin pe shaadi kar leta ussey'beta main samajhti hu ke tum behen ho uski fikr hoti hai per trust me larki bohot hee achi hai..seedhi saadhi'aur humare armaan ko pasand hai aur kya chahiye humein..hmmm

Anjali-yeah ok agr kisiko koi prob nahi hai then I think its alright'well kya naam batay aapne uss larki ka..

Padma-Shilpa

Naina-shilpaa bas kar kitna roegi tu'.subah se chal raha hai yeh'.dekh agar tu chup nahi hui na to main chali jaungi yahan se'

Shilpa-nainaaa'..*sob sob*

She was looking soo helpless and cute and innocent at the same time'

Naina-shilpuuu'..she took her in a warm hug and consoled her'

This is Shilpa Malhotra' Sweet,innocent,charming,caring and intelligent girl.She is 19 years old and is currently studying in medical college.Yes innocence was something which reflects in her eyes'all used to call her dumb in one word as she never asks anyone anything in return or even answers back to anyone.She is a brilliant student and wishes to be a successful doctor like her father was.She lost her parents in a car accident when she was 3 years old and after that her aunt and uncle took her custody.She now lives with her chachu,chachi and dadi.Life is not easy for her as daynight she has to go through hurdles.She is only a burden for her so called family and they want to get rid of it as soon as possible.Thats why they decided to get her married not even considering her age.When she tried to protest last week about her marriage proposal her dadi answered her back-

Nina(her chachi)-hey bhagwaan'.itni saalon tak pala tujhe kya yeh kam nahi jo ab aur kharach bara na chahti hai..arey humare bhi to baal bachchein hai uneh kaun paalega'huh doctor banna hai'tumhare ma baap ne tumhare peeche koi khazana nahi chora hai'

Shilpa-chachu plzz'.bas kuch aur din main'mere exams de dun uske baad aap loug jaisa chahenge waisa hee hoga ek saal ki baat hai'.is tarah se shaadi nahi kar sakti main'ek do saal baad aap jo bolenge main wahi karungi'

Ravi(Her chachu)-Shilpa dekho tumhari chachi aur dadi jo keh rahi hai theek hi hai'bohot kar li parayi tumne..ab waqt hai ghar sambhaalne ka apne sasural mein jaakar..waise bhi doctor banke karogi kya tum'larkion ke zindagi ka laksh to yehi hota hai'.behtar yehi hoga tum is sachai ko apna lo'

Nina-arey aur nahi to kya'itne barey khandan se rishta aya hai iske liye ayr yeh hai ke..pata hai kaun hai who loug'mallik industries ke maalik'ek lauta beta hai unka'armaan mallik'videsh se lauta hai'.aur to aur raaj karegi us ghar mein jaake tu'

Shilpa-lekin main

Dadi-bass ab koi kuch nahi bolega'ladke wale kal a rahe hai aur tujhe unke saamne humari naak nahi katwani hai samjhi'..

Mallik family visited Malhotras the next day and Shilpa was asked to get ready in a saree and greet them.

Shubhankar Das was a very good friend of Shashank and he told him that Malhotras belong from a good and reputated family so their daughter will be the best choice for armaan.

Shubhankar-ji Namaste ravi ji'maaf kijega aise achanak se aney ka plan ban gaya

Dadi-arey bhai ismein maafi ki kya baat hai aise shubh kaam ke liye kisi muhrat ki thori zaroorat hoti hai'

Ravi-jeee inko kaun nahi janta'.balke inke saamne humari kya haesiyat,'

Shashank-arey aap sharminda mat kijiya humein'balke jinke paas betiyaan hoti hai who to sabse zyada dhanwaan hote hai..main bhi is baat ko mantahun..dekhiye na humari do do betiyaan hai'kyun Padma'

Padma-jiii'..

Shashank-aa yeh meri patni hai Padma'.aur yeh humare suputra armaan'beta paer chuo inke

Armaan touched dadi,ravi and Nina's feet and they liked him very much'

Dadi-bhaii dil khush ho gaya Shashank ji'apke bte ke ache sanskaar dekhke'warna aajkal ke bachchen'

Padma-ji bilkul'hum bhi yehi sochte hai'humari do betiyaan bhi hai anjali aur sapna'

Nina-achaa'uneh bhi le ati

Padma-darsal anjali ki to shaadi ho chuki hai zyada tar abroad mein hi rehti hai aur sapna medical mein hai to exams chal rahe hai'.

Nina-ji bilkul samajhte hai hum'

Armaan was getting a bit bored in this usual talks'Ravi noticed this and asked Nina to bring Shilpa.

He almost stopped breathing after seeing the beautiful sight in front of him.

She was standing there with eyes lowered in a pink saree looking cute and beautiful at the same time'it was evident from her face that she was hell nervous and armaan could figure it out'

She was feeling very nervous and scared..what if they dislike her'she had to listen to dadi and everyones taunts then..but what if they choose her for their son'how can she get marrid then..she wants to study further'become a doctor'will her husband allow her to do that'in fact is he even aware that he is getting married to a 18 yr old girl'goddd she didn't evn sw him for once'

Dadi-yeh hai humari beti Shilpa'.bete paer chuon sabke'

Shashank-arey bas bas'humare yahan betiyaan paer nahi chooti'god bless you'

Padma-bohot sundar ho'.yahan ao humare paas baetho'

She was now sitting middle of Shashank and Padma and could feel someone's continuous gaze on her'

Shashank-hmm to shilpa bte aap kya par rahi ho'.

Shilpa-ji who main'.mainn medical mein hun

Padma-bhai wah medical mein to sapna bhi hai humari beti'.

Shashank-hmm that's really good.to doctor banna chahti hai aap'

Just then Shilpa lookd at Dadi,Ravi and Nina'

Dadi-arey ab kya bataye jabse mere bte ki maut hui hai'tabse leke aaj tak ise kisi bhi chees ki kami nahi hone diii Ravi aur Nina ne'..chahe who uski parayi hi kyun na ho'.ab to bas yehi chahte hai ke ache se iska sansaar bas jaye phr chaen se yeh saansen ruk sakengi'

Before Shashank or Padma could inquire abt her studies anymore they distracted them and asked they liked Shilpa or not

Later everything got fixed and all were very happy'except two people'armaan and shilpa'

Shilpa was already in tears thinking her life will be destroyed now'marrying an unknown person at this age'.

On the other hand armaan was not happy'he wanted to meet her..talk with her..ask her what she likes or not but when asked shashank told them that they follow old customs so wont allow to let him talk to the girl before anything gets fixed'

Still there was something in that girl which made him say yes to this alliance in one meeting only'

Present-

Naina was her only savior in this cruel world'.she was her best friend since childhood and fortunately they study in the same college.Difference was just that Naina's family was way more sophisticated thn hers and they loved their daughter like anything.
