'Dekhiye' she said moving a step forward but then back again as she saw that ranvir wasn't stopping

She kept moving back as ranvir kept moving forward. Each step she took back, ranvir took one towards her.

'Dekhiye, wahi ruk jaye ye' she said pointing at him whilst moving back. But ranvir wouldn't listen or react, just kept continuing his stride towards her.

She started feeling scared. 'Mein kehthi ho wahi ruk jaye warna mein chilaogi' she said with fear in her voice.

Nothing affected him he carried on walking towards her. ragini stepped back until her steps wouldn't allow her. Her back hit the wall, she was now against the wall, she couldn't move any further.

'Wahi rukh jao...mere paas math ao' her voice was shaking 'mein keh dehthi ho mein chila do gi' she said

ranvir was just steps away from her and his eyes were still strongly fixed on ragini's eyes. Just then ragini was about to run away when ranvir quickly grabbed her and pushed her against the wall. He came right upto her and before she could scream pressed one of his hands firmly around her mouth and with his other grabbed onto ragini 's hands tightly so she couldn't move.

'Mmm' ragini tried to scream. She was looking at ranvir scared, her eyes were reflecting the fear she had, she struggled to get out of his grip. ranvir continued staring at her intently. His stare was scaring ragini even more, she could see anger in his eyes. ragiin 's heart started racing even faster, one because of the proximity between ranvir and ragiin and two, because she was scared what he was going to do. Had he come here to get revenge for the slap?!

They both carried on looking into each other's eyes, ragini with fear in hers and ranvir with anger in his. She tried to release herself from him but to no avail, he was too strong for her. Slowly ranvir 's expression calmed down from his angry look and very softly he said

'I'm sorry ragini '

ragiin stopped struggling to let herself go and looked at him with less fear and more questioningly.

'Woh mujhe patha nahi tha ke tumhe yeh job ki itni zaroorat hai. I didn't mean to scare or hurt you. Mujhe laga ke woh sab karne se maza aye ga aur mein tumhe maza chaka sako ga tho meine...Trust me ragini i seriously didn't mean to hurt you. Mujhe laga ke tum mujhse darke ye naukri chordo gi aur mein jeet jao ga...lekin mujhe nahi patha tha ke ye mazak tumhe itni buri thara se affect karega. I'm really sorry ragini .' Said ranvir all in one go. He was truly looking sorry and guilty.

ragini looked at him confused. The fear had gone from her eyes, she just kept looking at him. She had never seen this side of ranvir and she was very confused.

'Meine tumhare saath itna sab kuch kiya aur tumne phir bhi, tumhari koi galthi nahi hothe hoye tumne mom se kuch nahi bola, unki baatein suni, aur tho aur tum yeh job bhi chorne ko tyaar hogi.' He continued.

'I'm really very sorry ragini . Please agar ho sakhtha ho tho mujhe maaf kar dena' he said sadly.

He looked at her for a few seconds waiting for a response from her but there wasn't any. He became impatient and irritated and said

'Tum kuch bol kyu nahi rahi? Mein itna kuch bol gaya, tumhe itni dafa sorry kaha aur tum chup chap khari hoye ho' he said in his usual adamant tone

'Mmm' she said

'Kya?' he said moving his ear slightly towards her

'mmm' she again mumbled

'kya ragini mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha tum ye kya...'

'Mmm' she said again directing with her eyes towards his hand. ranvir followed her eyes confusedly and realised his hand was still on her mouth. He quickly let go and moved back and said

'Oh sorry...mein bhi kitna bara duffer ho' he said taking his hand through his hair.

ragini stood there silently, still looking at him.

ranvir noticed this and said 'hello ab tho meine tumhe chordiya hai ab tho kuch bolo' he said waving his hand in front of her ' i know ke mein itna hot ho ke tumhari nazar mere se hath nahi rahi lekin ragini abhi is waqt pe...' he said in his flirtatious naughty tone.

'Aap phir shoro hoge?' ragini finally said widening her eyes at him

ranvir got a bit worried thinking he had offended her again and went serious

'Nahi woh...'

'Hahahahaha' ragini started laughing. Ranvir realised she was just playing with him, he looked at her thankfully

'Thank god!!' he said 'mein samjha ke kahi tum mujhe phir se kahin kaan ke neeche lagan a do!' he smiled

ragini smiled back at him. This was the first time they both were smiling at each other from their hearts.

'Iska matlab ke tumne mujhe maaf kar diya' he said

'Meine aisa kab kaha?' said ragini looking at him seriously

'arey meine tumse itni ache se baat ki tumse itni dafa sorry bola' said ranvir

'ache se baat ki? Mujhe daara ke, mere itni kareeb aa ke, mera mou aur haath ko itni zorse pakarke aap kehthe hai ke aapne mujhse ache se baat ki'

'Haan aur nahi tho kya? Tum tho mujhe bolne ka moka hi nahi de rahi thi isleye...'

'isleye aapne aise...'

'dekho ragini phir se na shoro ho jao. Ek tho tumne mujhe itni zorse kaanke neeche baja dala ke uski awaaz abhi thak mere kaano mein goonjh rahi hai upar se meine tumse maafi maangi woh bhi tumhare ghar aake...yeh koi choti baat nahi hai!' he said

'arey, ek tho khud galti karthe ho, aur mujhe blame karthe ho aur ab maafi bhi aise maang rahe ho jaise koi ehsaan kar rahe ho!' she said

'Dekho tum...' said ranbir holding his finger in front of her face

'kya dekho?' she said also putting her finger in front of his face

They both looked at each others fingers and then their own and started laughing.

'Acha ragnii mein chaltha ho' ranvir said and walked towards the door. He stopped at the door and turned around

'waise...agar tum chahthi ho tho...tum kal se job pe aa sakhthi ho...' he said

ragini looked at him raising her eyebrows

'nahi woh...mujhe koi farak nahi partha tum aao ya nahi ao...tumhari marzi...lekin shyad mom ko tumhari zaroorat hai tho agar tum ana chaho tho aa sakhthi ho' he said casually

ragini looked at him and smiled

'Infact agar na bhi aogi tho chale ga...mujhe tho bohat acha lage ga' he said cheekily. 'Lekin age tumhari marzi...'

'Ji sir...' ragini replied

ranvir looked at her hoping to get an answer from her but she just stood there with her arms folded smiling at ranvir . He walked out and went to his car and started smiling to himself. He felt like a huge burden had been lifted from his shoulders, he felt much better now that he had apologised to ragini but there still was something in the corner of his mind bothering him which he couldn't put his finger on. Not being able to figure out what it was he ignored it and drove off.

Meanwhile, ragini in her bedroom was back to her normal self again. She was also smiling to herself. She sat in front of the mirror and recalled what just happened, then softly hit her forehead and said 'idiot kahi ka'

The next day ranvir went to office again early in the morning. The employees were used to him coming so early now that it didn't come as a surprise to them anymore but today was slightly different. ranvir was happy, he looked fresh. He greeted everyone with a huge smile on his face and went to his cabin. He swung in his chair round and then called the recptioinist.

'Good morning rita, kaisi ho tum? Acha ragini ko bolo mere cabin mein aye' he said. There was happiness in his voice

'Sir lekin ragini tho office aye hi nahi' she replied

'Kya?' asked ranvir getting upset 'aye nahi?'

'Yes sir'

ranvir again got angry and slammed the phone down

'Ab inhe phir kya hogaya' wondered rita looking at the phone

ranvir feeling irritated thought

'Maine usko kal sorry bhi bol diya phir bhi nahi ayi? Chahthi kya hai, mein apna naak ragro uske aage' he said angrily 'itni importance agar mein kisi aur ko dehtha na tho woh tho zindagi bhar mere paer chath tha rehtha aur yeh miss arrogant...samajh thi kya hai apne aapko'

ranvir was very irritated. He sat in his cabin annoyed for a while but then eventually thought 'mujhe kya...woh aye ya nahi aye' he got up and went towards alekh 's cabin.

He opened the door and said

'alekh tu...' he stopped as he saw something unbeleiveable. It was ragini she was sitting in alekh's cabin discussing about ranvir's upcoming concert. They both stopped talking and looked at ranvir.

'Tum?!' ranvir said happily. His face suddenly lightened up seeing ragini .
