Arhi~*~Chapter 6~*~

Hiya folks !!!!!!! How are you all wonderful people ? I'm great (just incase you guys wanted to ask me that ) . Is it just me or was today's epi just purely, simply fantastic ? No it's not just me. Mr. Arnav !!! Kya Hotness yaar? Its a crime to make an unmarried girl ( me, just incase u guys are wondering ) want to share that awesome bed of your's you know. Black blankets, Arnav in red...Urghhh...I think we need a priest in this forum and a confessions room. Cuz my thoughts are anything but pure...they're darn right sinful! If there's already one, please ladies gimme the location. LOL okay enough of my bakwas. So guys, sorry for the lateness in updating, been busy with midterms ( and ya ~it didnt go so well! You can blame Arhi for that !!!!). Okay so I'll just get on with the chapter. !!!!

Arnav came down to the dining table, all dressed up in the designer suit, ready to go to the office. He looked and saw that all of his family members were at their respective seats, wanting to ask him to stay and have breakfast with them but knowing that he'll just decline nonetheless. Well except Kushi. She's upstairs changing. Pagal ladki, forcing me to leave my own room so that she can have all the space and privacy so that she can change. He looked over at his brother-in law, who seemed to be so absorbed in thoughts that he barely looked up and took notice of his surrounding. Now what they hell are you up to jija-ji? I know you...something is definitely going on in that filthy mind of yours !" Arnav took a deep breath and forced his concentration onto how to make his family believe that he truly and really is in love with Kushi. What the hell does one do when they're in love ? How the hell can I prove it ? By buying her expensive ornaments and accessories ?Should I buy Kushi jewellry ? A car ? A new house ? A...a...a sweet shop !!! That's it ! I'll just gift her a sweet shop and then no one will question my love for her !

Wanting to surprise his family and annoy his brother-in law, Arnav came and sat down on the dining table authoritatively. He smirked seeing everyone's surprise that he suddenly decided to join them for breakfast. They were all musing over his sudden appearance when their attention was suddenly shifted away from him and towards the top of the stairs. Arnav turned around to see what everyone else was so stunned at and the view that greeted him knocked him breathless. A slight whisper of longing escaped Arnav's mouth before he could stop it, " Kushi". What the - How did she manage to get dress so fast ? And so beautiful at the same time ! Arnav's piercing gaze scanned Kushi from head to toe, absorbing and memorizing all the details for later analysis. The light blue sari that she wore was adorned with intricate beading of pearls and embroidery that shimmered when the light touched upon them. The sari clung to her in all the right places, highlighting her petite figure and accentuating all her beautiful curves. Arnav noticed that except for a small slide/clip holding few strands of her hair, most of it was left flowing and loose. How would it feel to slide my hands through that silky hair ? To tug her towards me using her hair as my rope ? To slowing unravel her sari so that I may see what little was left covered this morning ? Suddenly his train of thoughts were interupted by his di's teasing .

"Chote, you can stop looking at Kushi now. You've been transfixed on her ever since she came onto the stairs". Anjali began to laugh, the others joining her in her tease against him, except for Shyam who sat looking stoic.

Kushi came gliding into the seat beside Arnav, and slightly bumping into him. He tuned to give her a penetrating gaze of irritation but she just disregarded it and apologized to Nani. " Nani, mujhe maf karthiji. I shouldn't have been so late and but the door to the bathroom got locked, Arnav ji wouldn't leave me alone, he wouldn't budge out of the room no matter how many times I told him and then-" Kushi explanation was cut short by Nani's laughter.

Now it was Nani's turn to tease the newlywed. " Its okay Kushi betiya ! There is no need to apologize. After all, its only reasonable since last night was your suhaag raat and you guys must have stayed up all night...talking of course".

Kushi face once again turned red, giving her cheeks the extra color needed to make her look like a blushing Indian barbie doll. She was mortified and embarrassed by Nani's open teasing and except for Kushi, Arnav and Shyam, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves at their expense. She turned to see Arnav ji give her one of his " Now look what you've started " looks. She quickly diverted her attention to her breakfast which to her delight, was covered with delicious dishes. Now this is something I could get used to. Thank you Devi Maiyya, atleast you've blessed me with a great cook in this house.

Suddenly Anjali noticed the slight swelling in Arnav's right cheek. " Chote, are you alright ? Why is your right cheek a bit red ?" She leaned over the dining table and inspecting Arnav's cheeks with her fingers.

Kushi gulped so suddenly on her food due to Anjali ji's sudden question that she started coughing. Before thinking of reaching for a glass of water, she actually felt a hand tapping on her head and another one giving her the glass of water. She looked up into the eyes of her husband and noticed that he was the one taking care of her. He almost looked worried at her condition and the care she saw in those chocolate brown eyes melted her something inside of her and not only stopped her coughing and wheezing but also brought a smile to her face.

" Now what are you smiling about Kushi ? You almost choked to death on your food and you're smiling ? Of all the things to do, you're smiling ? What if something happened huh ? Eat slowly and properly for heavens sake Kushi ! And try to avoid giving me a heart attack !" orderd Arnav in a patronizing tone that failed to disguise his worry, fear and care. And it certainly didn't go unnoticed by his family who felt deeply content and happy seeing a "changed and caring " Arnav.

Arnav turned his attention back to his di, trying to remember her question. What did she ask me ?...my cheeks...ah yes !!! Why my cheeks are red? " Well Di, that is something you're going to have to ask my wife !"

Kushi and Arnav gaze into each other's eyes, forgetting about everyone else's presence except their. Kushi slowing begins to blush as she remembers what had happened whereas Arnav felt a growl of purely male satisfaction emit from within remembering what had happened upstairs.

***Kushi and Arnav's Flash back***

Arnav had come from the bathroom only to have his own bedroom door slammed in his face. Unfortunately it literally happened. The door actually had managed to slam into his face or at least part of it . Most of the brunt was taken in by the right cheek. His anger at that moment was so severe that Kushi foolishly and unknowingly came out after hearing his yelps of pain and curses. The pagal ladki had actually had the nerve to look at him accusingly; going on on a tirade about why he had made her wear his clothes...what his sister thought had transpired between them last night...how he was responsible for her situation...yada yada blah blah blah ! His anger and arousal at seeing a mad Kushi in his clothes had made him drag Kushi into their bedroom and slam the door shut in their wake.

Using his deadly gaze and terrifying yet electric presence, Arnav backed Kushi against the wardrobe and locking her with his hands on either sides of her. She looked up at him and waited anxiously and somewhat excitingly to see what he would do, her lips suddenly opening themselves on their own accord when she realized that their breaths were mere inches apart. She titled her head up and looked deep nto his eyes and seductively whispered his name from her rosy lips. And that was the trigger that had sent him over the edge. He pushed his body hard against her's, aligning every part of him with her's and took her luscious lips into his mouth. He had slowing started off by tracing the lips of her's with his tongue, trying to memorize their feel and texture. He drove his tongue into her mouth, slowing becoming addicted to her taste. He had---

***Flash back gets interrupted *******

" Bhai, I think we can guess. No need to explain !" announced Akash from the corner looking slightly sheepish.

The ladies at the table all seemed to be blushing just as Kushi was and he realized with a start that they all thought that it was probably due to Kushi kissing him on his cheeks for a while. Now now ...if only you knew what they were thinking Kushi . Then I guess we can repeat what happened upstairs again. Arnav cocked his eye brows and smirked his lips in pure male satisfaction. However his amusement was short lived. His jija ji was staring at Kushi with a deranged look. Sighing to himself, Arnav got up from the dining table and held out his hand to Kushi.

" Let's go Kushi, We'll be late for the conference meeting if we stay here any longer. I want to get there earlier in order to go over some files." Kushi firmly placed her hands in her husbands and got up and stood under his shoulders, his right arm covering her back like a protective armor.

Before any one else could question Arnav about Kushi's departure to work , Shyam spoke up, his anger and frustration barely noticeable by the others except for the couple " But Arnav ji, why are you taking Kushi with you ? She is the bahu of this house so why are you treating her like an employee of your's. There is no need for her to work now. If you leave her here, I'm sure we'll all be able to take great care of her " added Shyam slyly.

Arnav took his time in answering his brother-in law, knowing that this was the answer that all his family members would also hear and he didn't want them questioning his decision. " Jija-ji, I'm sure MY FAMILY would take care of Kushi well. But I believe that no one can take care of her as much as I can. I want her with me at all times jija-ji, so that I know and can fulfill her every happiness, wish, desire and comfort at all times. I love her and so staying away from her for even a few hours is not something I know you'll understand is quite difficult and impossible. Furthermore she is MY wife and thus, she'll be with ME forever and always." And with those words, the husband carried his wife out to the car, cheers and happiness echoing from his family.
