Ali Zafar mustered up his courage and went to Raam. "Namaste Uncle, how are you?"

Raam shook his hand. "I am very well thank you. You sing very well".

"Thank you just kuch toota poota gha leta hoon" he said feeling embarrassed.

"Toota poota? Man you rock!" Sonam said excitedly. Ali Zafar began making small talk to all the sisters except Geet. Geet was feeling a bit weird, she could sense Ali Zafar was interested in her. She looked away and saw Maan with his arms crossed looking towards Ali and Geet. She began knotting her dupatta and faced the other way.

Maan walked over to Raam. "Uncle how are you?" Raam hugged Maan. "I'm okay son, how are you keeping?" Geet looked down and held onto Sonam's arm. Maan slightly looked at Geet. "I'm doing fine Uncle, just joined Khurana Constructions as General Manager". He looked at Geet hoping she was listening. "Son thats so good Deena would be very happy".

"Beta humari ghari toh Ranvir le gaya, ab hum ghar kaise jai ge?" Raam asked Geet. Ali Zafar quickly asked. "Uncle main hoon na? Main aap sab ko drop kar deta hoon".

"Young man are you sure?"

"Of course Uncle!"

Maan and Adi left to go back to KM. Adi knew Maan was in a very foul mood. He was driving erratically. Adi stayed quiet as he knew to never ask a angry Maan any questions. Maan entered their house and went to practise his tai chi.

Adi saw the anger and madness. He came and stopped Maan. "BRO BRO kya hua hain aapko? Why you toturing youself?"

"How dare he take my Geet in his car. I can't tolerate anyone looking at my childhood sweetheart like that. My blood is boiling at the way he was singing and flirting with Geet".

"I understand bro but do you blame him, Geet is a beautiful girl anyone will for her".

"Adi I want her, I need her in my life. If I let go of her my life will be worthless".

"Bro talk to maa and papa tomorrow morning". Maan nodded his head and headed for a shower. He cooled down and began thinking all he wanted to do. He could not wait for the morning. The clock was ticking so slowly and time felt like it was on a standstill. As soon as it was 3am Maan got up to ring India.

"Good morning Maa".

"Maan beta aapki tabiyat toh teek hain na? Itni subah phone" asked Savitiri Devi.

"Haan maa main teek hoon, aapse baat karni thi".

"Muje bi"

"Maa main chahta hoon ke aap Uncle Raam se Geet ka rishta maange aaj hi".

"Are you sure beta? Beta tumari dillagi hain na?"

"Hmmm" replied Maan.

"Teek hain beta main aaj hi baat karu gi".

"Love you Maa".

Deena and Savitiri Devi were super excited and could not wait for hours to pass so they could ring Raam. Once the time struck 9am in America they rang and spoke to Raam explaining how Maan is in love with Geet. Raam was happy as he knew that he had changed and his daughter really loved him. Raam came and spoke to Geet. "Geet Khurana parivaar tumara haat maang rahe hain Maan keliye toh kya jawaab doo?"

"Baba jaisa aap teek samje". She shyly said and walked off.

Sonam and Nisha came running in. "Geeettt Diii we are so happy for you". All of them hugged each other. "Di Maan ne ye bejaa hain". Geet looked at the box curiously. It was enclosed in red satin box. Her heart was beating fast.

She opened it and found a black iphone 4s. She looked at it and saw Maan had put his picture as screensaver. He was shirtless and looking really mischevious. She shyly smiled and her sisters teased her. "Man he is hot". Geet playfully slapped them. "Di Maan sent you iphone so he could talk to you awww so cuteee".

Geet smiled just a small gesture from Maan made her forget the pain and tears he had caused her. Why did he get away with everything? She did not know but she knew somehow destiny kept throwing him back in her face. She opened her contacts and saw only Maan's number saved. She smiled at his cheekyness. She knew he wanted her to ring him but she waited for him to ring.

"Maan should ring na? Itna sataya hain toh unn ka haq banta hain muje manane ka, hain na??"
